Great food, great service. Decor was lovely. Background music was interesting but not intrusive. We only stopped in for a quick bite on the way to an evening event but plan to return as the main feature of a date night in the coming weeks.

What a hidden gem, so glad we found it for a shared birthday treat. The decor is beautiful, and the service amazing (so nice having your glass regularly topped up by an incredibly polite waiter). The food was authentically Italian, very generous portions and delicious. Can't fault anything and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Manchester

My everything, my one and only amazing experience in Manchester! Sofia, in particular, was incredible. I always felt cared for and well accommodated. She was simply human and not a machine, as so many people are trained to become in hospitality. Lee and Harvey also performed magnificently; they operated smoothly without any missteps. The food was impeccable in taste and presentation. If you are in Manchester, visit Dom's Italia!

Very beautiful, pizza was delicious but my friends did not enjoy their pasta. Music was very loud

Exceptional quality food. I had the Dom's Pizza and it was very good. Authentic Italian taste.

Sadly I was placed under a speaker which was too loud. After asking twice to have the volume reduced, I gave up. The food was ok - had a Ravioli special, but it was luke warm. Staff were excellent and polite - just not able to operate a volume control. Wouldn't go back.

Didn’t feel welcome as we had our daughter with us, they do not have high chairs, didn’t check if everything was ok with our meal but did to other tables around us. Food was bland, Very disappointed and will not return.

Food is so good, the waiting staff is so professional, but the portion is slightly small. Honestly I haven’t encountered such professional restaurant staff in such a long time it’s actually really refreshing to see :) I will definitely be returning.

We went on our week away to Manchester, best place I have ever eaten! The service was really quick and everyone was really friendly. Our food was a 10 out of 10. The atmosphere was lovely and everything felt very authentic Italian. Wish we could go there more often. My partner is the fussiest person I’ve ever met and usually finds fault in most meals out but he wouldn’t stop talking about how much he loved it and wanted to go back. Thank you for the amazing meal! ☺️

The truffle risotto unfortunately lacked any truffle flavor at all. When I mentioned this, the server said that the truffle was mixed into the dish. It was strange considering that truffle is a flavor you definitely would taste. Additionally, my risotto contained a piece of spaghetti and a strange green stem. The rest of our table had a decent experience with their meals — not exceptional, but not bad either. The venue was pleasant, and several of the staff members were very friendly. Unfortunately it did not make up for my bad food experience. If the food is more important than the atmosphere, you might want to consider dining elsewhere.

The atmosphere is too formal, too neat and the service is too exaggerated. Food was fine, with a few surprising dishes. And without mentioning it on the card, extra service costs...not so pleasant.

Excellent delicious food, attentive, prompt and professional service. I had the chimichurri steak from the specials that day and my girlfriend had the slow roasted beef ragu (can’t remember the Italian name for it) but both were outstanding. Antipasti dishes were excellent as well. I’d recommend getting three plates relative to the portion sizes. All are so delicious and have fresh ingredients- We will be going back! -James and Charlotte

Dom's Italia is located in Deansgate of Manchester. Just a short walking distance from Deansgate metrolink station or Deansgate train station. It provides authentic Italian cuisine. We ordered mussels, dom's pizza, pasta like carbonara and creamy chicken pasta, shrimp, spare ribs, calamari ring, etc. We also orders desserts like panna cotta, creme brulee, lime cheese cake and tiramisu. Overall, we satisfied with this restaurant's environment, food and service. But we have a bit disappointed on the dessert like tiramisu and esp. the creme brulee cos the taste and texture is a bit weired. While lime cheese cake and panna cotta are yummy.

Horrible steak, understaffed restaurant with a rude waiter. Waited 20min before anyone took our order and gives us drinks, and the staff told us “this is a restaurant, not fast food” after we waved and tried to get his attention. Not to mention the sauce in spaghetti bolognese tastes worse than the one you can find in supermarket. The atmosphere was nice, but not enough to justify the experience. Would not recommend.

We chose this restaurant for a family meal following my graduation from university. The staff - especially Lee and Sofia - couldn’t have done more for us to make the evening special. I am already planning my next visit to Dom’s and recommend anyone to eat here if they enjoy fresh Italian food.

Good prices, portions were pretty big and the atmosphere was great. There is the option to stay somewhere in the back of the restaurant where you can see the kitchen and the chefs going at it. Also, the trains pass just above the restaurant so once every 20ish minutes you'll feel the whole establishment shaking slightly. It's a very fun experience

On a recent evening in Manchester, I had the pleasure of dining at Dom's Italia, and it proved to be a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was prompt and efficient, setting the tone for a wonderful meal. I decided to try the veg pasta aglio-olio, and it did not disappoint. Served hot and in a generous portion, the pasta was cooked to perfection. Being a fan of spicy food, I requested it to be customized with an extra kick, and the kitchen did a fantastic job of accommodating my preference. The spice level was just right, enhancing the flavors without overwhelming them. To complement my meal, I ordered a mojito, which turned out to be an excellent choice for the warm weather. It was refreshing and well-balanced, adding a nice touch to the overall dining experience. For dessert, I opted for the chef's special coffee tiramisu. It was a standout dish, rich in coffee flavor without being overly sweet, which is a big plus in my book. The tiramisu had a perfect balance of textures and flavors, making it a satisfying end to a wonderful meal. Another highlight of Dom's Italia is the view, which captivated me from the start. It added a charming and scenic backdrop to an already enjoyable dining experience. Overall, my dinner at Dom's Italia was thoroughly enjoyable. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a refreshing mojito made for a memorable evening. The rich coffee flavor of the tiramisu was the perfect finish, and the stunning view only enhanced the experience. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Manchester.

Quiet on the day we went due to football

Went in the middle of the day so wasn't that busy however the food and the service was impeccable and has a nice view of the skyscrapers.

Honestly, better than any of the food I had in Venice last year. Fantastic flavours, and great service and atmosphere too. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place. We visited Doms Italian restaurant last night and we wasn’t disappointed. All the staff were very professional and couldn’t do enough for us. I had the lasagna and have to say probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Great value for money and will definitely be returning.

A little hidden gem. We hadn't booked but were lucky enough to get a table. The server was super polite and took our orders in perfect timing. The food itself was really tasty and good portion sizes. The vegan garlic bread was SO good!!! A member of the dining party was disappointed there was no spicy pizza option on the menu, but everything else was perfect.

Great food and absolutely brilliant service! I brought my auntie and her friend whose husband was Italian and worked in the restaurant industry for many years. Mariano and Lee looked after us brilliantly all night and so both were really impressed by the service. The food was also delicious- we’ll definitely be visiting again :)

Had a memorable evening with my family. The evening started with a delicious dinner at Dom's and ends with The Halle Orchestra concert. The pate antipasti was cooked to perfection...rich & smooth with a intense aroma of fresh chicken liver. The recommended pasta Gamberoni e Zucchine was done perfectly with the full flavours of prawns & sauce absorbed completely. Had Zuppa di Pesce (special dish that evening) where the tomato based broth was infused with the full flavours of the various seafood completely. Paired the above with a bottle of Gavi to compete the dinner. Highly recommended!

Found this little GEM of a restaurant while staying in Manchester. Definitely one of the absolute best Italian meals I've had as a coeliac outside of Italy. I don't take very good pictures of food but honestly it was really tasty and my husband really enjoyed his non GF dishes too. My mushrooms in cheese sauce starter had incredible taste, the pasta was cooked perfectly with a nice amount of sauce (and huge portion!) And the GF garlic pizza bread was lovely and crispy on the edges. They can do GF penne for pretty much all of the pasta dishes, GF pizza's and a GF garlic bread (on a pizza base). Most of the rest of the menu can be adapted other than a few things (like Arancici or Lasagne) The staff were SO lovely and helpful too. We were served by Lee and Mariano who couldn't do enough for us. We randomly found this Italian restaurant after wandering at castle field area. Being as a great fan of Italian foodie and attracted by its great location and decoration/style, had a try. Turns out to be pretty nice! The service is quite considerate and both starters and main (tried creamy pasta-with king prawn / white wine…) indeed tasty! Must try😊 not to mention its open-window design and upper stair/roof - reminds me the great atmosphere of dining at Italian cities /towns.

The place is an absolute gem. If you in Manchester, you must visit. One of the best Italian food we had in long time. We made reservation which was confirmed right after restaurant was opened at 12pm. We were welcomed by Lee who was our server and was absolutely amazing. We started with Polpette All'arrabbiata & Bruschetta Al Pomidoro which were amazing. For our mains, Spaghetti Bolognese & Risotto Al Tartufo. Finished with recommended Lime Cheesecake (you must order, one of the best we ever had) and Panna Cotta with Strawberry Purée. We will definitely visit next time we’re in Manchester. I highly recommend this restaurant not just for food but also service and atmosphere!

Took my girlfriend here for our date night and we weren’t disappointed whatsoever, firstly on arriving we were greeted by one of the lovely servers, he gracefully guided us to our table which was situated in a nice private area next to a window. I can’t get over the atmosphere in this place! romantic, cozy and authentic. The music playing at just the right level, the ambiance, the traditional Italian decor and feel! love love love. Such a vast menu offering a wide array of delicious cuisine,we were stuck for choice. We ended up ordering : Garlic bread with cheese - absolutely delicious and addictively moorish, crispy base, gooey stretchy cheese and a drizzle of olive oil, honestly stunning. Bruschetta - simple but elegant, bursting with flavour and tasted so fresh. Paccheri genovese - al dente pasta tubes with melt in your mouth slowly cooked beef, need I say more? this was an incredible dish, a blessing to my stomach, packed with divine flavour and texturally a masterpiece. Spaghetti Carbonara - subtle but a delectable taste, creamy and decadent, definitely a must try Sautéed Potatoes - the perfect little side order, garlicky, buttery and mouth-watering. Overall Dom’s Italia left me and my girlfriend feeling over the moon with our choice for date night, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt as comfortable as possible and the service is like none other we’ve experienced at other businesses, if you don’t try this place you’d be doing a disservice to yourself and your tastebuds. We will be returning.

When I searched best meatballs in Manchester this place came up and I decided to come in for my birthday and try them out and they are definitely a contender. I really enjoyed the chicken too especially when sandwiching it between some garlic bread haha.

We had a beautiful dinner at this establishment. All the dishes were cooked well and the serving size were very filling. Seafood linguine, veal, pasta al oglio and cannelloni were our mains. Top service received from all servers as they were very attentive throughout dinner. Highly recommended.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday dinner last night and we choose exceptionally well as the staff were fabulous and very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food and the setting and atmosphere is wonderful. Would definitely recommend. Thanks to Lee and the team 👍🏻

We were served by Rosa and Harvey and both were absolutely incredible. Despite being new Harvey was wonderful and really helpful. Rosa was also amazing and so kind to us. She kept us laughing throughout and was an absolute angel. The food was really great too but the service was fab and they accommodated all of our dietary requests easily and kindly (vegetarian and halal).

I went here on Friday 12th in the evening, with my friend for our dinner as we went to a concert at the venue Rebellion just up the road from this restraunt. The food was delightfully delicious and served in a good beautiful way. The service was exceptionally amazing as the waitress was so kind. The atmosphere was so divine and cosy with the flowers and lights above our heads. I really had a good time with my friend.

I chose this Italian for my partners birthday and it was perfect we both loved it. It was the best Italian food we have had in ages and the service was exceptional too. Particularly Lee, he made our visit extra special, he was so attentive, welcoming and his customer service was second to none. Dom's Italia is, by far, my favourite Italian restaurant in Manchester. The food is incredible and perfectly seasoned and every dish hits the spot, but what really makes Dom's the best is the service and atmosphere. The staff have struck the perfect balance in terms of service, they engage with you, have a laugh, top up your wine when needed, but they also let you relax and enjoy your meal. I love it here. Also, a special mention to Lee - who I refer to as my favourite waiter ever - he makes every experience a memorable one with his genuine kindness, sense of humour and excellent service. Thank you so much! I'll definitely keep on coming back!

1st time back since doms had moved premises, and tell you what! still the best italian that me and my partner have ever been to! massive props to the waiters and the chefs! will definitely be back!

The staff here were very attentive, but the food seems to lack authenticity. The menu comprises a range of pasta dishes and pizza, but overall, there's no 'wow factor' in any of the other dishes we've tried.
