A bit of a disappointment, my wife had Mac n cheese that was just bland and the salad wilted , I went for a rump steak asked for it medium ( a good vet would have been able to revive it ) and it was as tough and chewy as a Grand national race winner , luckily I had a scampi side the saved the day . Just average

Since the recent referb, things have much improved. Better service, food and atmosphere. Aaron and Liz were great, staff were attentive.

This place has massively improved since its renovations! Staff are lovely and really go out of their way, considering the affordability of the place too. Lovely atmosphere and great prices too.

We've eaten here a few times now and did our first quiz night this evening and we've always had a good experience. Every visit the staff have been fab, especially Aaron who's customer service is exceptional, can't do enough for you and is hot on resolving any issue quickly. First time meeting the landlady this evening at the quiz and she was also really friendly and welcoming to our group and they did lots to make the children feel special too, which is lovely to see in a family friendly pub. They have a great outdoor area and little park for the children, car parking and the interior has recently been renovated to a high standard too. Highly recommend a visit.

A great place for families and the food is surprisingly good. Recently spent 6 hours out in the beer garden stuffing our faces while the kids played happily in the play area.

First time going today! Lovely atmosphere. Staff very helpful and friendly! Food for me was amazing! Chicken, bacon,mayo wrap and chips! Husband had the steak & cheese in ciabatta, he said it was lovely but the steak was a little too chewy and under seasoned hence the 4* for food. However food was great value and well worth it! Toilets were immaculate (in the ladies) will definitely come back again. Thank you.

Been there a couple of times. There's a bit of a wait fot food when it's busy, but that's only to be expected. It's a nice big place, open plan and very spacious. Beers are good and staff very friendly. Massive car park.

Usually would love it here only thing that saved it was the girl with the pony tail on the bar! She was lovely but unfortunately clearly the management had left 3 youngsters in charge, dirty plates everywhere, kitchen struggling and forget about the kids meal deal because you won’t receive your desert!! Even if you ask 3 times! A simple fruit skewer didn’t seem too much to ask for but I must be wrong…. My meal was burnt and just tbh awful quality I didn’t expect too much but even so was disappointed…. Usually out go to…. Will probably be our stay away 👍👍 NOT the servers faults this is a management, kitchen and food quality error!! Get it resolved asap if you want your regulars to stay/return

Absolutely lacking training waiting over and hour and a half for our complete order to come out, only ordered 3 small plates a burger and and lasagna with a kids meal, waited a reasonable time for our small plates and the kids main to come out as they were delivered we told the staff to bring mains as soon as they were ready along with the kids dessert, after half hour of finish small plates we begin asking where are mains are to which one member told us the kitchen are really busy and couldn't give us time while the other was sitting with her friends seeming disinterested and more concerned with what the latest Facebook post is, they're all clearly left a riot with no management

Very nice food, We forgot to ask for the children's food as a meal deal....Aaron sorted it out for us and was friendly and helpful.

Visited for the first time since the refurbishment and was really impressed. Quality of food is much better than before and staff friendly and helpful. Lots of choices for vegans and vegetarians including desserts.

Lovely, greeting and welcoming, lovely food

Took my family out to lunch. There are plenty of parking spaces and car charging points. Place looked much better than the last visit some years ago. Clean and tidy interior and a good selection of tables to choose from as wasn't too busy. The ordering process is either through an app or at the bar. We chose the bar as we wanted some tap water that isn't a choice on the app. Food came quickly and was very good quality. It was a good experience and we will return.

Want to say thanks to all the staff for wonderful night, especially as 13 of us arrived at short notice for a birthday meal. Food was delivered quickly and good as usual. Staff were friendly, and brilliant with the 0children. The birthday girl had a great night and, as she was from China, had a great introduction to an English pub .

Hadn't been in for a long time ,used to.go in often ,my husband had been in recently and said how good it was, went in yesterday evening after a hospital appointment, really enjoy it ,not many places do my favourite macaroni cheese was lovely ,will definitely come back again ,highly recommend.

Good food and nice play area for kids

Popped in today as a family of 4, for the first time since refurb. The place is so much more welcoming now, staff friendly and accomodating. Food was good, hot and served in good time. Play area is perfect for children, covered outside area is perfect for the parents of said children. Definitely will be back. Thanks Pete and Marie

Meant to open at 11 but left standing at door waiting. When they offer brunch/breakfast the place should be open on time & ready to serve - they weren't. Traditional breakfast was ok, only luke warm sausage overcooked. Egg snotty. Shame.

From the outside wasn't appealing but from the back it's very impressive. Very clean moden decor inside. Staff always walking around with a smile greeting. The menu small but great choice. Food came out quick very hot and not greasy. Right potions.
