Solía vivir cerca y fue el primer restaurante turco al que fui para llevar en la zona y desde entonces me he enganchado. Soy muy fan de las alitas de pollo, especialmente las barbacoas (o ahora conocidas como chargrilled), así que cuando descubrí que este restaurante las hace cuando caminé un día camino a KFC decidí probar esto en su lugar para una opción más “saludable”. Como con cualquier otro restaurante turco venden cordero a la parrilla, pollo, pescado y kebabs picados, y también guisos diarios. Nunca probé otra cosa ya que mi favorita son las alitas de pollo. Ya sea para llevar o sentarse, sirven sus comidas con un poco de pan y ensalada como acompañamiento y el principal con una mezcla de arroz bulgar rojo / blanco con mis alas. Me mudé de la zona por un tiempo y este día he estado en la zona y decidí visitar de nuevo. Las alitas de pollo con el pan, la ensalada y el arroz permanecen exactamente como las recordé. Parrillada a la perfección y llena de favor.

El nuevo Jefe de Cocina, el Sr. Riza, la Gerente Sra. Eva, y la Directora de Panadería Sra. Fidan forman un equipo excepcional, a quien llamo los "Tres Mosqueteros", por su honestidad, sinceridad y calidez. Como vegetariana dos días a la semana, pedí sopa de lentejas, y el personal me informó cuidadosamente que podría contener caldo de pollo. El Chef Riza aclaró que solo era un cubo de pollo utilizado para condimentar, lo que aprecio por su transparencia. Este restaurante predominantemente turco ofrece un toque gastronómico elegante con influencias levantinas, haciendo que cada plato sea irresistible. Am really surprised this place doesn't have more ratings. This is a hidden gem, fantastic Turkish food, authentic and all at reasonable prices. It's right at the top of Edgewater road but definitely worth it. It's not a glitzy joint, if you want good food and good portion sizes, don't miss out.

We have been using this restaurant for our Turkish takeaways. We ate in once many years ago but prefer to take away. The food is fresh and the staff behind the counter helpful. There is a changing menu of stews each day. It is good value for money in these hard hit financial times.

We were staying in the area and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered starters and main courses which was a mistake! Firstly complimentary starters arrived which were delicious. The starters we ordered were equally plentiful and we still had main courses to eat! Again huge portions! The food was tasty and delicious. Afterwards we were given complimentary tea. The restaurant does not serve alcohol and is cash only so please be prepared. Overall great food and service but please do not over order!!

I have been to London countless times and had tried so many different cousins. Today, I would like to share about one of the best places for Turkish Food. I first enjoyed my dinner about 3 years ago since then whenever I visit London this restaurant is a must-visit on my travel list. About Restaurant: Diyarbakir Sofrasi is divided into 2 portions, from the entrance, it looks like a corner takeaway but the sitting arrangement is in the next portion separate from the kitchen and people are collecting their takeaway food. The waiting staff is mainly female, very efficient, friendly hosts, and quick. They won't leave you unattended once seated. Food: You will be served with a tray of complimentary bread, salad, and sauces even before you place an order (please don't eat all otherwise you won't have room for your order). Food is authentic and delicious, if I'm honest then I don't have words to describe it. I have been to this place many times and never ended up having a check of more than £12 including a drink for one person. This true gem is for those who are looking to enjoy authentic food at an economical price. It is a True Hidden Gem at Edgware Road, London. Do drop a comment if you have been to this place.
