The restaurant is not good I don’t recommend it

I visited this restaurant in the morning and I ate breakfast it was delicious, I think it is best restaurant in UK I will try to try with Mandi in next time.

This is one of my favorite Arabic restaurants. Their menu is exceptional, and the portions are so generous that you could easily finish them on your own. Whenever I feel like dining out, I choose Diyafa—it always offers a delightful experience for my family as well.

Delicious food, very good service, and a comfortable atmosphere

Ordered lamb mendi,wasn't how I expected the rice,bread and chilli was nice but the lamb was lamb chops with like a tandoori style it's not what I would call a mendi...the small meat was ok.

The kabsa and rice stuff are really good But the grilled meat as mince meat or mix grilled are not tasty at all The best nan i have ever eat The staff is friendly and nice

really really good food. huge portions. i recommend the zorbian lamb. only downside is that the food takes over an hour. otherwise fantastic

Amazing food, excellent service, great value.

I have been to this restaurant about 4 times now. Its become my goto place every time I travel to Sheffield. Never disappoints. I love it!

A good place to try Arabian dishes. No long waits, delicious hot food served on your table. You get a compliment mutton soup to start with. Variety of kebabs and rice dishes.

As you can see we had 3 dishes, lahm mohamar, chicken mohamar and lamb zurbiyan. The lahm mohamar was abit dry the chicken one was very good but the best and exceptional was the lamb zurbiyan it was very authentic and had all the right tastes a very generous portion with a fair and equal price, service was excellent and food came fast!

I ordered food on July 29th, but the restaurant canceled my order, claiming they didn't have the chef. They didn't inform me beforehand, so I had to pay again to reorder the food, even though they assured me I would be refunded for the cancellation. When I tried to address the issue with the restaurant, the staff gave me no proper response and hung up on me without offering any assistance. On top of that, the food was cold, and made me sick the next. They also charged me twice for food that had gone bad. This was the worst experience I've had with this restaurant.

This is such an unassuming place with great food at cheap rates. And the food quantity requires a special mention.

Roasted chicken should be roasted, but actually it’s a boiled chicken with red colour. Make me sick after few hours of eating it. Will never again

Diyafa is a good Arabian restaurant that offers delicious and affordable food. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and the short wait time.

A real taste of Arabia. The size of the portions are considerable but that does not affect the quality the least. There is a mildly hot and spicy taste to the dishes but it is not very poignant. The service is comparable to the speed of a fast food place but to a much higher quality. The personnel are great and helpful. The prices are great.

What an amazing experience we had in this restaurant. The Yamani cosine is one of my best and i always look forward to trying their great food. We went to a trip near Sheffield and we stopped by after we searched for a place with good reviews. It was my first time trying this place and i was absolutely shocked, what an amazing place and delicious food and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very fresh, big portions and good presentation. We ordered Zorbian lamb and saghir (small meat with naan. We also ordered their special bread and ends our meal with the Adani tea. They brought us a meat Yamani Soup and this was on house to welcome their customers. All dishes came as expected to be and higher. Was absolutely delicious, i really enjoyed it and I highly recommend everyone near by to try it. This place has a toilet and it was very clean and they said that they refurbished it recently which you can see, and we parked our car in a paid car park only two minutes walk from the restaurant i think was Waker car park.

This is a great place, best food as well. The lady I spoke to on phone is so lovely. Highly recommended.

This review is for online order only. If you order online from Diyafa you will get the rice, the meat will be only the bones and cartilage. 0 complimentary soup, 0 sauces. All is overpriced and separatedly charged. I recommend dining in the restaurant and you will be 100% satisfied. Also some authentic arabic music or recitations from the Quran will go a long way into the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I ordered 3 soups Hospitality authority Zerbian meat Half a grilled chicken French fries 2 red tea, 1 Adani tea The whole food is delicious and the price is excellent 👍 The bill is 26 pounds. The service is excellent and very fast 👍 They also put a free thermos of water on each table. But the place and sessions are not that. They have sweets, but I haven't tried them.

Food was ready as soon as we ordered, they are super fast We had lamb mendi and it was delicious,ot was enough for the two of us. I have been to Diyafa several times. I have always been delighted by the service and by how promptly the food is served. A complimentary soup is served in the beginning which is lovely to begin with. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are also very decent. I would recommend you try out this place.

The food is just great! Very tasty and inexpensive. I recommend grilled fish and mango juice. Also, everything is prepared and brought very quickly. Everything is fresh. Removed a star because some visitors stare at me even when I'm with my boyfriend. And the district - I don't go there alone in the evening.

Best arabian food in Sheffield very tasty and cheap and fastly served

The food is quite authentic, tastes really good. What sets it apart is the ambience makes you feel like you are sitting in Yemen and eating it. Portion size is worth the money. Quite generous with their portions and chances are you might need a takeaway box. Employees working there are polite and well trained. Kudos to the chef.

Love this place. Mine and my husband's favourite breakfast go to. Nothing beats it after all these years. We usually go for breakfast but they also have nice lunch options. Very hard working people. Food is absolutely delicious. The Arabic Salad is out of this world. Such a nice simple atmosphere inside Ma Sha Allah. May Allah continue to bless and sustain your business.

EDIT: From 5 stars I had to drop it down to 1 star after being deceived. Be very careful when buying food from this restaurant if you don’t know Yemeni food. Instead of telling me that they don’t have lamb mandi they decided to give me plain boiled meat and passed it off as mandi. Every week I used to order lamb mandi, zorbian and lamb kabsa and I can differentiate between all 3 so i don’t know who they thought they are trying to deceive. They did apologise but being deceitful and selling an item that you don’t have and then discreetly replacing it with something else which is not even an item on the menu (plain boiled lamb) in the hopes that a customer won’t notice is haraam.

Service was excellent. They gave a complimentary clear soup which was so satisfying in this weather. The portion size is ridiculously huge and definitely worth the money. Can't comment much in terms of taste, as I had only one dish (chicken curry with naan), which was overly tangy for my taste buds. Overall it was a nice experience. P.S. they even have a bidet sprayer in their toilet which is super rare in the UK, and was a pleasant surprise.

Food was amazing, it was my first time there. It's tucked away, we went for breakfast and it was full. It's not a posh place, and not your typical English breakfast at all, but the food was outstanding, will definitely go again.

Food is very delicious 😋. We were a group of 14 people, staff made arrangements quickly to make a table for us. Had chicken mandi. As we went in late hours lamb items were finished. Definitely going again to try Thier lamb mandi.

A Yemeni restaurant with delicious food and very fast service. We ordered mandi meat, the meat was kind of heated and it looked delicious, and the grilled fish was fresh and grilled in an excellent way.

Year ago I recommended this restaurant and I gave 5 stars, unfortunately, I visited the restaurant yesterday day for dinner, I give it 1 star because what we ate was something has names of yemeni food but not yemeni food, the food quality was very bad. Disappointing 😞

Lovely food, service, and atmosphere...

Probably the best middle eastern food in sheffield, with very generous portion on meals which also comes with lamb soup and free flow water as a standard. One thing to note though, this place often received large group booking so for people with certain kind of disability, it will be wiser to have it delivered

Came here with some uni mates for lunch. Food was delicious and portions were large. Small and cozy, not the best looking location but the quality makes up for it. Very authentic feel. Pricing was acceptable for what you get.

If you are looking for an cheap arabic food this could be the place for you. Big serving of rice which I love a lot.

A simple small yet accommodating Arabic restaurant well known for mandi. The place was full but waiting period is hardly two minutes. I tried the lamb zarbian and yes it was indeed delicious and rice was well cooked. The lamb chops were tender and cooked well. The soup was outstanding though 10/10. The best I had. It simply Tasted like the famous indian Hyderabadi marag dish. The tomato chilli sauce was freshly made and tasted great with the rice. Food experience 10/10 Coming to service : one of the fair Arabic lady staff with a fair complexion had a bad attitude and she needs some serious customer service training. Initially she took away my menu from the table without asking and when I asked her to please keep it back she seemed to have a problem with that while placing it back on the table. Finally while I was still dining she came and took away the tomato chili sauce popped it in the soup bowl without asking if I was done! When I asked her to please give me the sauce she gave a bad look and placed the dirty tray in front of me to pick up the sauce myself from the dirty soup bowl. I didn’t complain though but she needs to learn some manners and fix her attitude. Avoid being served by her and request someone else to serve you to enjoy the good food here.

If I ever were to come back to Sheffield, that would certainly be one of the first places I'd head to. Brilliant food, served with fresh naan bread in an effortless atmosphere, all priced so reasonably that it's actually hard to believe it's real.

Tasty Arabic food, trie to order sooner on the day if you are for meat because they cook early in the day, it is still tasty though. The salads are nice and the Yemini sweets are nice too.
