Was visiting Bristol on Sunday and my friend and I came in, got a roast beef sandwich, very full of filling and very tasty, the service was wonderful and prices great, still got peanut butter cake to eat yet. Highly recommend. Very pleased with the service

I regularly order from Dio’s because I absolutely adore it. The menu is ever changing, hearty and delicious. I love the variety and the creativity behind the menu is spectacular. Something as simple as a Chicken Caesar sandwich becomes something so extraordinary you won’t ever look at a meal deal from Tesco the same way again. Everything on the menu travels well because the wrappaging is so well done. The attention to detail is *chefs kiss*. Cannot recommend more highly.

Still sat here and have to write the review. First visit and no idea what to have so had the Tempura Veg with garlic preserved lemon, salsa aoli. My the soup of the day. Wow, now that was one heck of a role. Wonderful fresh warm bread and the filling was sublime. Wife's soup so thick could stand spoons in it and flavoursome personified. Add best coffee had on Bedminster and can't go wrong! Thank you, looking forward to come back

I love this deli! They have a fabulous selection of meat/ veggie and vegan sandwiches, toasties, drinks, fresh juices and sweet treats - what more could you want? The staff are great and super friendly too. You can’t go wrong here!

I had the Mediterranean forcaccia and a sicillian canolli . The forcaccia was so tasty full of flavour. I haven't tried the canolli as yet but I am sure it is delicious. Popped into Hugo's veg shop next door such a gem . Staff in both shops were really friendly and helpful . This place is a must cant wait for my next trip . Thank you xxx

Yes this place does first class sandwiches but also so much more besides. Some of the best pizza slices, cookies and baklava I've had. Across 10+ visits the quality has been consistently faultless.

Amazing sandwiches and deli products! Pickles used in sandwiches are not too pickled/vinegary, so you can taste all other ingredients, beef was slightly pink and very tender.

All over this place. For me it’s easily the best sandwich shop in Bristol. I’ve tried pretty much all of them. They do a great coffee too 👌 Super friendly staff and just generally a gem in Southville!

I have to say, after just ordering a beef, pesto, mozzarella and caramelised onion hot sandwich, It goes down as the best tasting sandwich I've ever had.

The best sandwich you'll find on North Street. For years this stretch of road has been crying out for a convenient lunch option that isn't a trendy cafe bar. Sometimes you just want to lug yourself down the hill and indulge in an easy-cheesy meal deal and be done with it. Well the Dio's meal deal is like the Olympian Supermodel Rockstar cousin of the cardboard you'll find in Pret. And for basically the same price. I've eaten so many Dio's sandwiches I can practically taste them in my sleep. They started out as a rare treat when I finished a big project, but now I get a misguided pavlovian response as though I've actually achieved something every time I taste burrata and pesto, or coronation chickpea, or San-pel and those sweet chilli crisps... The tiramisu is also the dog's baubles. Don't take my word for it - buy a family sized pot and go to town. The last time I got one to share I finished the lot in one sitting.

Great sandwiches and amazing sweet stuff- the baklava are better than I've had at many a Greek or Iranian shop and the cookies are outrageous. If it was near my work I'd probably go most lunchtimes

Such a nice little deli and owners. Not a huge amount of space to sit but the service and food are outstanding. Always reliable and super friendly.

THE place to get sandwiches, cakes, and meats in Bedminster. Amazing food, amazing people, and fantastic range of stuff.

We come here often for pastries, salads and sandwiches. The pastries and salads are excellent, but the sandwiches range from the best thing you've ever tasted to 'good' - partly because the bread keeps changing. I would pay the full moon if they used the Sourdough more! Overall though, quality is tiptop. I highly recommend the chicken caesar sandwich with the anchovies, and their scotch eggs. The canolis are sometimes a tad stale though.

These guys are really nice and they make some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Creative choice of veggie / vegan stuff and the pork specials are always banging
