Cost £10 for five pieces of vegetable pakora and a tiny portion chips and cheese. Couldn’t eat the pakora as it was the most disgusting I’ve ever experienced. Will not be back 😠 No competition late at night. Getting away with culinary murder

The people working there are very nice, but the pizza wasn’t really good. Tasted as a frozen pizza.

Quality takeaway kebabs, pizzas and burgers. Open later than other takeaways in area .

Had a donner meat pizza and mixed pakora the chilli sauce is to die for and the pizza so tasty And great friendly service There is a great range to choose from

The Dervish takeaway in Anstruther is a Turkish-run place but, as is the way of modern takeaways, they serve everything from burgers and chips to pizza, popcorn chicken etc as well as the expected kebabs. We went down the traditional kebab route and had two sheesh kebabs, a lamb and a chicken. The main reason I go for lamb or chicken kebabs instead of the ubiquitous doner is because I enjoy freshly cooked, succulent meat. The kebabs here were indeed freshly cooked, but were decidedly overdone and were subsequently rather dry. They were also over-salted - and as a bloke who is regularly criticised for putting salt on food, it takes a lot for me to consider it too much. The salads etc were ok and whereas I have certainly had better kebabs, I’ve also had worse, hence my average marking.

Food is usually good 👍. But there chips are never the same everytime I go. Overcooked small chips, over cooked big chips and usually just over cooked chips or re cooked again

Soggy cold chips. Wet mushy burger bun. Never again.

Couldn't be worse if tried to be! Standard cardboard "meat" dry dry dry bun.. no sauce, dollop of disgusting stuff that I assume is meant to resemble cheese. YuK

Just had a chicken tikka calzonie burger 2 chips and was charged £21!!!!! Food was disgusting nothing had any flavour Calzonie consisted of dough,cheese & chicken no sauce onions etc Weirdly it was cash only which in the current circumstances card only is much safer. WILL NOT BE BACK

I'm disgusted with the food I got i ordered a munchie box bearing in mind I lived in Anstruther for 6 months and went quite a lot of times and the food was always good was there tonight after 6 months and ordered a munchie box for old time sake and I was very disappointed will not be going back anytime soon and be telling my friends not to go there either

I've told this shop so many times about there munchie box we don't eat garlic dip put a extra chillies dip in instead that's our last time ordering anything from you ever again meat was cold and hard the chicken pickora was the same chips just warm and you still have us a garlicky dip you don't listen to your customers that's a few times you have made mistakes I asked you if it was all fresh and not hard meat and pickora you reasured me it's all just freshly cooked no it wasn't we love a kebab but from your shop no more your lucky I gave you two stars

Absolutely terrible, The pizza was just a little warm, the base came away from the top of pizza, the chips and cheese were something I would not have served to my worse enemy, the chips were re-heated could have broke our teeth trying to eat them they were dark brown and not warm or enjoyable in anyway, hardly any cheese on the chips after paying for chips and cheese, not a good experience at all, we didn't eat half the pizza and left most of chips. I think I will look around before going back to this establishment.

WORSE KEBAB AND SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED. Ordered 3 donor wraps to Crail took 1.5 hours for delivery, my daughter was sick and her 2 pals had stomach pains and felt sick. When I phoned to complain there reply was "no else has complained what do you want me to do about it".Will never be back.
