Delondres Spice ltd in Newham

Small Italian restaurant, popular with locals. Everything is freshly prepared in front of you. What we ate - pizza napoli and penne arabiatta - tasted delicious. What we saw looked delicious. Very friendly atmosphere and wonderfully friendly service. The patron keeps an eye on everything. It is so small that the table has to be moved to be able to sit down and you sit very close together like sardines in a can, but that doesn't bother you at all because only nice, cheerful people come there. Top address!

I had the Christmas sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had...and I'm not even vegan! The staff were really friendly and helpful on food recommendations and I loved the atmosphere and the cosy vibe. It has a great community feel to the place and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the other options which also sounded very tasty! Definitely visit this iconic vegan cafe!

Since reopening after their Summer Holiday in August, they have increased prices and made portions smaller than what they were. The portions are good, however, increasing prices and making them smaller than what they were is hitting customers twice, do one or the other, no problem. They are so busy on Friday and Saturday nights the quality of service and food deteriorates, they put the Doner machines on full so it cooks quicker so they can cope with demand, but they burn it and you end up with crispy burnt dry Doner. The quality of produce is still good and better than anything else close by which is why they are so busy but this makes them think they can exploit customers by raising prices and cutting portions.
