Delight Kebab And Cafe in Waltham Forest

i just had a chicken donner and i was vomitting all night the chicken donner was cold it was probly leftovers thats been out for days

my friends and i really enjoyed our meals here. the portions were large, tasty and would definitely go again. the decor also added a very modern element to the restaurant and i would highly recommend eating here!

Delight kitchen is quite a clean place, customer service could be improved. Flavour of kebab is good but not the best. I’ve got a large kebab for £8 and the size was pretty much small. I ended up hungry. I wouldn’t go back to be honest

Ordered the mixed cold meze as a sharing starter and got three pots brought from the local corner shop as opposed to freshly made restaurant produce. Most Turkish restaurants have decent bread that they throw in for free; this was free, but was basically a 6 pack of supermarket pita bread. No love of food in this place. Decidedly average,....... at best.

Most awful service food was very late and when I called the person on the phone was the most rudest and u helpful person I’ve spoken to , TOTALLY AVIOD GUYS WASTING YOUR MONEY

Have ordered with delight kebab several times and always received quality food as described. On this occasion today 9th Dec. The food supplied was mainly rice with very little meat. Bread and chips were cold. Very dissapointed , will not be using again.

The friends and family loved the freshness of the doner and chicken kebabs. Was definitely halal for sure as you could taste the quality of the meat.

Possibly the worst Turkish I’ve ever had. Nothing like a proper lamb shish. No meat just fat. Couldn’t eat it. Horrible

Amazing taste and great quantity.

The chips were undercooked and soggy, the liquid from the salad leaked onto the undercooked chips making then inedible. The food was cold, the new packaging is small meaning you get less food. I normally give a 5 star review but I was very dissatisfied with this meal.

Our delivery was taken to the wrong address. 1st class replacement though so that made up for some of it.

I have given 1 start less because they have made the portion a little smaller and the price has gone up, but having said that the food is great

Was delivered early which is what I was hoping for. Food was delicious. They have changed the way they package the food which was a pleasant surprise. My defo go to place when I'm hungry

Good quality food, freshly cooked, crisp chips, hot & delivered very politely in good time, but I do live near. I won't order the cheesecake again, very unpleasant, hence 4 stars for quality, it was a waste of money because it came containing mostly stale tasting biscuit crumbs with literally a 5mm layer of cheesecake with a teaspoon of fruit on top; but otherwise I order regularly, I'm 63 in lockdown so it's good freshly cooked food for not a huge expense.

Food was delicious as always, only disappointment is, although the new containers are neater/cleaner, the portions sizes appear to have shrunk. Definitely not the same amount as before 😕

Chips were cold, as in don't even know what time they were cooked but doner was great.

The food is good. However they've bumped up the prices and you get less food in their fancy new containers. Used to order from them loads but probably won't anymore.

I do like this place and have ordered a lot from them but can’t justify the prices any more. Everything has gone up from 50p-£2 an item and the food now comes in these plastic containers with less food then what the other containers they use to use.

Do not order from this place , the fish was £8.50 & looked like it came from Iceland ! Very small portion. it was all cold chip where under cooked. We paid £35 & are still hungry as most of it was inedible 😡😡😡😡

Ordered for the 1st time takeaway #18 which I usually eat in at the restaurant but this take away tge kofta znd chicken skewers were salty and tge rice was old tasted like plastic. So a bit disappointed there.

Whilst my husband loved the kebab he received, I was really disappointed in the falafel, it was extremely dry and overcooked. Some bits were very hard and couldn’t be eaten. It’s a real shame as for vegetarians this is a staple takeout food. The humous was also just a store bought container which is so disappointing when ordering from a Turkish restaurant. Probably won’t order again if I’m honest.

It was the first time ordering from the restaurant as I saw quite alot of good reviews for it so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Pros:delivery was quick and the driver was nice and followed instructions that I gave. The quantity of the food was large and plenty. Cons: i ordered a fafel and hummus wrap sadly I couldn't taste the hummus because I don't think there was any inside and also the chips were not crispy but very soggy. This is why I havent left more stars and I don't think I will be ordering again.

Their food was good, but the experience was spoiled by the fact that the "free bottle of wine when you spend £35 or more has "terms and conditions" that are not mentioned anywhere on Just Eat page. I only found out about them after calling restaurant and not receiving the item from the offer. There are many other Kebab shops around, I will support them going forward, thanks.

Normally the food is very good quality and fresh. So I was disappointed to get floppy greasy cold chips, what looked like uncles bens packet rice, and a cold, not heated tough pita bread. Not the end of the world, just such a departure for their usual standards. Hopefully a one off

Good meat (shish), tasty rice, wraps are good, chips and onion rings not bad at all for a delivery, generous with sauce and salad, good value overall, very quick delivery (early evening).

The Chicken donor I ordered was off and smelled very bad, this was all three of the donors I had ordered. I am very upset with this as me and my family haven’t been able to enjoy our dinner.

Great would order from them over others, only down fall is that sometimes I don’t get the drink I ordered but everything else is great and service is great.
