Nice Italian place, near Kentish Town station. The pizza carbonara was delicious, and the menu offers several typical dishes from the Veneto region. Although the space is small the place is comfortable and decorated with old photos and maps. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Good vibes.

A Little cosy Italian restaurant with a delicious food.

We stumbled on Delicious by Franco’s by accident, but we glad that we did. We had the pizza vegetarian and the home made pea pasta dish and to finish the limoncello tiramisu (highly recommend).

My wife and I found this place online as we were looking for a restaurant close to the 02 forum as going to concert. I booked a table online. The service and food were excellent. Home cooked food. The ravioli was delicious as was the penne pasta dish I had. This is a little gem. Lovely staff and good vibe too. Also reasonable prices If you are in Kentish Town or going to the O2 I would certainly recommend this place. We will be going back Thanks for a lovely meal.

Had my usual thin crust pizza (one of the few left in london) with spicy spianata calabrese and off course it didn’t disappoint! Welcoming service, good food and reasonable price! Highly recommended!

What a fantastic restaurant! The food was tasty and perfectly cooked, lovely presentations, were exactly the right amount and everything (including the wine) was fairly priced for the quality! This place was not nice. Do not come here. The service was bad, and even from the minute we stepped through the door, every question seemed like an insult to the waitress. The wine was subpar and the food was not much better. The carbonara was nothing like a traditional carbonara, and I would go as far as to say that it was the worst carbonara I’ve ever tasted. My partner had the Pizza and I’m glad I didn’t choose it. The taste was not nice and the dough was undercooked. There was too much cheese and this made the pizza soggy. When we pulled a slice, all of the toppings fell off. We left more than half the food and declined the service charge. When we asked for the bill, we were honest about the food which seemed to spark dirty looks and hidden conversations about us once the waitress returned to the other staff members. Find another Italian restaurant.

Just disappointing. The worst bit was the food, the pizza was beyond soggy and way too cheesy. The carbonara pasta was just not nice. We left half the food in our plates as it was not to our taste at all. The place looked old fashioned and the service was minimal. When you run a business you will always have disappointed customers. However the staff did not care why we were disappointed or did not ask for feedback or anything. We were there on a Friday night and the place was far from full. Shame.

Went there for dinner before going to a concert, service was quick, the host was lovely and our pizzas were just delicious. Can’t wait to return and try the pasta

Charming Italian restaurant not too far from Kentish Town overground. Authentic pastas and stone baked pizzas. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic, family owned and managed Italian.

I visited this restaurant on the 7th of March 2023. I decided to eat on my own, as it was really cold outside and I was waiting for my relative to arrive at the tube station. I really enjoyed the service and the pizza was absolutely delicious. This restaurant serves authentic Italian food with perfect portions. Very Greatful. Many thanks.

Cozy little Venetian style Pizzeria. Menu is concise yet delicious. The pizzas are some of the closest you will get to what an Italian pizza is in London. The only thing is service was a bit slow and could do with some extra servers. Last we were in, there was only one lady serving on her own and the restaurant was full! Will be back for sure after all its a only a few miles away from us.

I love Delicious by Franco. I am Italian and every time I go there is like I travel back to Italy. It's a cozy restaurant and I like it for this reason, it feels like I 'm going to eat to my aunts' house . The owners are two sweet ladies that make you feel welcome and the food is delicious like the name of this amazing place.

I was surprised, given the other reviews, but left disappointed. Maybe the kitchen was in a rush because they do so many takeaways and it’s such a small place, but everything just needed an extra minute’s cooking - pasta and pizza alike. This might also explain why the carbonara was approaching scrambled egg as the pasta was scalding when it came. But that doesn’t explain why they put cheap bacon in it instead of something a little more special. Again, a surprise as they import truffles from Italy for other things. The seafood pasta had a good sauce and the wine selection is excellent, and at very reasonable prices. And the two sisters that run it are exactly what you’d want from a family run italian. But, for us, on this occasion, the food fell short. Perhaps another visit would yield better results, but I won’t be risking it myself, sorry.

Delicious - artichoke, asparagus & parmasean (mom's favorite) Calabrese - mozzarella, prosciutto ham, basil (teenagers's favorite) Hawaii - pinapple, prosciutto ham, basil (dad's oddball favorite) Vegetariana - mushrooms, peppers, courgettes (a nice change) For dessert... Nutella Pizza with Icing Sugar (we share one for 3 people) In addition to wonderful pizza there are some outstanding pasta dishes, available to go... Truffle Ravioli - truffle and ricotta ravioli with porcini mushrooms, sage, pecorino cheese Bigoli Al Nero Di Seppia - black pasta with cuttlefish cooked in its ink You can telephone, and place an order for collection, and pay when you get there. If you go and collect, you are given a 10% discount overall. Deliveroo can deliver, and you'll pay a bit more for the convenience. If you're eating in the restaurant, there is a more extensive menu, especially for pasta. Preggo!

Came to this charming , cosy Italian local this evening in Kentish Town for a friends Birthday. Atmosphere was lovely and intimate , service from the lovely hosts were attentive and very polite. Pizza x 2 we’re great and the beers were icy cold just how they should be ,, however the Tiramisu lived up to and exceeded its reputation , was delicious lots of chew not too much goo 😂😋 Bill was reasonable , will return. Side note if your driving don’t leave it to the last minute as parking locally was horrific maybe get a cab.

A delightful surprise that we only visited when the restaurant I had booked failed us. That proved to be our good fortune as we discovered this friendly, obliging tiny trattoria serving authentic homemade Venetian cuisine. The two ladies who served us couldn't have been nicer. A real gem. Highly recommended.

We were going to the O2 KT so looked for somewhere nearby. This was almost full at 6.45 on a Thursday (though it probably only holds about 20 people) We were met by a fantastic friendly and welcoming Italian lady (so sorry I didn't ask her name) The fresh breads with oil were fresh, light and tasty. My OH had the truffle ravioli which he said were fantastic. I had a pizza, it was huge and really good. I had it without cheese to be vegan, the staff were very happy to accommodate and say what could and couldn't be vegan. OH also had a mascarpone & strawberry dessert which he loved. The atmosphere was brilliant, a great find we will return to again. With 2 beers, 2 coffees & a soft drink it was nearly £60.

We had pretty good pizza here, clearly made from fresh ingredients. We sat outside as they had tables and chair on the street. Altogether this is a nice little Italian restaurant, if you are in the area and hungry. It's also very walkable from Kentish Town underground station. On reflection, I have dropped this review by 1 star as my credit card receipt shows the whole number of my card. This is in fact a violation of UK payment standards and leaves customers vulnerable to fraud. For this reason I will not be returning.

I have lived in the area my whole life and there isn’t a better restaurant around- the food is always perfect and the service is always amazing, the homemade bread, pizza, pasta and tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had- can’t go wrong !

I cant tell you how blown away we are by this little restaurant. My son booked it, and we ate there last night. This is the most authentic Italian restaurant outside Italy - we had homemade bread and oil/balsamic/olives to start with, and then we all ordered different pasta dishes....my husband had the black spaghetti (made with a cuttlefish and squid ink sauce), I had seafood pasta, and our two other family members had the Ravioli with truffle and porcini. The pasta was all homemade, as was the bread.We shared Tiramisu between us, and it was light and delicious. Service came with a smile and the staff couldnt do enough for us. The premises are beautifully clean and warm. So don't pass this one by - it's special!

We popped by on Friday and asked when the kitchen would be open to be told 'now'. Was early, possibly around 6.00ish but fortunately we chose to eat then. A while later no further walk ins were available and we now know why. The food was simply delightful. I do not have an enormous appetite generally but managed to eat my way through two courses and shared a dessert. My starter was a whole mozzarella caprese salad which was simple but so tasty. I have never tasted such light cheese. I then chose a ravioli mains with porchini and sage. Again such a flavoursome dish. One of the front of house ladies told me she has made the pasta and seemed so made-up as to how much I enjoyed it. We were then reccomended the tiramisu which again was so light and delicious. My only problem is that we do not live nearer or else we would be there frequently.

This was such a great place to eat. The drinks were amazing as was the food. The service was fantastic. Amazing restaurant. Definitely going back!

Fabulous little independent Italian restaurant. We stopped by for a quick pizza and glass of wine before heading off to see a gig at the Forum. If we hadn't had plans I think we would have been there a while as the atmosphere was friendly and the food and wine were delicious.

Best Italian in North London, if not in the whole city. Fresh, quality and simple Italian classics made with love. And the best warm service I’ve had in a while. My new go to, don’t skip this place!

This little Italian place made me feel right at home. I walk by it quite frequently and it always looks a bit empty from outside, but how wrong I was! I was lucky to get a table on a Thursday night. It's cosy and busy inside, the bustling feeling you get in a street in Italy during a warm summer night. My pasta was perfectly al dente, the two women in the restaurant very kind. You can really tell that everything is completely authentic, from the decor to the people to the food.

We use to visit the place before the lockdowns almost once a week. Extremely friendly staff and an amazing Pizza. I say Pizza cause that is the only thing I get when I go there! A wide variety options and toppings. Easily one of the best Pizza places in the whole area. We picked up a couple Pizza's few days back and the quality is still there. Will be coming back for more!!

Food was really tasty! We had a really big takeaway order and tried variety of pizzas and couple of pastas.Everything tasted delightful and super fresh. What was even more amazing was the fact that owner opened restaurant for us specially so we could order take away during lunch when it is closed during lockdown. We are a small college in Kentish Town and she made a diffrence for quite few young people! I really appreciate this place.Deserves 5 stars!

Really good traditional pizza, at a very good price.

I am particularly attached to this little gem, my boyfriend and I had one of our first dates here but when we went there the second time, the truffle pasta gave us such a beautiful experience. I felt that I was getting a kiss from the forest. The lady that served us used all the Italian phrases and it was like poetry.

The atmosphere is lovely and service pretty friendly. Compared to the menu online, prices of many items were increased by 50% when we went to take advantage of the government Eat Out scheme e.g. Pizzas suddenly at £13! I ordered a Vegetariana pizza which I read as including courgette and aubergine. My pizza arrive with mushroom instead of aubergine. I no longer had a menu to look at and questioned it, but I was told the pizza did not contain aubergine. I didn't question it further, but checking the menu again at home, it turned out I was right. The texture of the pizza was great but taste a little bland.

Just had a lovely meal here! I had truffle ravioli and they were absolutely fab, hubby had cuttlefish black ink pasta which was rich in sea flavours, the house red was very decent (which is saying a lot as I usually dislike wine). And the bread they served before the meal was some incredible warm puffy pitta pockets with yummy balsamic. And thankyou for the warm welcoming service, that made the whole experience wonderfully relaxing.

Great authentic taste and decent amount of toppings. Tiramisu good quality Not impressed with £2,50p delivery charge but if to ensure they keep doing take aways I'm happy to support them. This was literally, one of the nicest pizzas I've had in years- decades, even! Every mouth full was a taste sensation (quarto formaggio with extra spicy salami)- absolutely expertly cooked. The whole experience was extra welcome, because it was Good Friday, in Lockdown where everything feels pretty weird, hostile, closed and uncertain. This whole experience with (lovely people- identical, smiley, stylish, attractive sisters)- a lovely area to sit outside whilst waiting was so, so welcome- a beacon of hope, an oasis. Please go! Support them- They rock!

Very few restaurants are run by people who care. This restaurant always delivers good quality and the ladies that work there are part of the business and it's felt. Small, intimate and chilled.

Very very good italian pizza! I was living in Rome for 3 years and this pizza has the original essence from Italy. The owners were super nice. It is a small place, so it may fill pretty fast. Prices are very reasonable, even I'd say that they are slightly cheaper than other equivalent places. I recommend it very much. They also serve other dishes, but we didn't taste them.

This place was recommended to us by the guest house we stayed in and they were spot on. This is the best authentic pizza we've had in a long time. The owners are really lovely and the ingredients are so fresh. It's a really small and quirky place but feels really homely. Will be back!

Arrived here on recommendation from friends who live in the area. Were told a table would be 30 minutes even though there was a table clearly free inside. Asked could we have a table outside and have drinks while waiting. We waited 25 minutes, no drinks, rude waitress, would never go to this place if you expect good service and a nice restaurant experience... terrible service.

Hadn't eaten here for a while but last night's meal was such a fantastic experience we'll certainly be returning soon! Following an appetising starter of spinach with Parmesan shavings and a beautifully bodied chianti our mains arrived: I'd chosen the truffle and wild mushroom ravoli which was quite spectacularly delicious while my partner had an equally sumptuous seafood risotto. Service was as full of character as ever. Can't recommend Delicious by Franco enough for authentic and well priced Italian food.

Really lovely and homely restaurant. The staff are so attentive and make you feel as though you are at home. I had two vegetarian pizzas and both of them were very delicious. I had a special Christmas dessert and the tiramisu and it did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will visit again. It was beautifully decorated - I have attached a picture some of the decorations next to the table I sat on.

Great pizza - tasty crispy chewy dough with interesting and fresh toppings

Compré algo de comida para llevar aquí hace aproximadamente un mes y no me di cuenta de que me habían sobrecargado hasta que me fui. Esperaba que fuera un descuido de su parte y tal vez agregaron servicio o algo así. De todos modos, ordené exactamente lo mismo el otro día y ¡me sobrecargué de nuevo más que la última vez! Señalé los precios en el menú para llevar y pensé que la cantidad que me estaban cobrando era incorrecta y las dos mujeres conversaron, pero en italiano y luego una de ellas dijo que los precios en el menú son incorrectos (el mismo menú está en su sitio web y también te entregan uno, pero ella me daría la comida al precio indicado y luego me citó un precio de 11. 45 o algo similar, pero el precio en el menú se calcularía justo por debajo de 10. 00 y le dije eso a ella y luego ella conversó un poco más con la otra mujer en italiano y me enfurecí porque seguramente debían saber sus precios, decidí no continuar con mi pedido y me fui. La pestaña del menú para llevar en su sitio web también indica un 15% de descuento si lo cobra. No estaba pidiendo un descuento de colección, solo el precio que figura en el menú. . . . .
