Deli Felice in Tameside

Did the bottomless brunch and it’s worth every penny. Food was great like it always is and the drinks were flowing too not like some where you have to finish one before they’ll let you order another, will definitely try it again.

A food and service is amazing , a new lease of life since refurbished. Thoroughly recommend . The new bottomless brunch seems very good value . We will definitely be coming back f to try this . Have been several times to this restaurant before and just can’t fault it

Decided to go out for a meal tonight. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to go. The service was excellent and the staff are so friendly. The food was ample and the presentation was very satisfying. There was plenty to choose from on the menu and the 2/3 course deals were excellent value. We all left with a full stomach and were four very satisfied customers

We choose to have multiple starters rather than main meals so we could try lots of the delicious meals on offer. The portions were a good size and all the food was very flavoursome. There wasn’t one plate not cleared. Service was great and when we queried the ingredients in some of the dishes the staff were happy to help. Really enjoyable meal, great atmosphere and excellent service.

Been here a few times and enjoyed the food and service but on Thursday evening I was a bit disappointed. Table was booked at 8 and upon some of our group arriving they were told they close at 10! I arrived by 8:15 late as usual and the whole meal was rushed from start to finish. We didn’t have starters and had a birthday cake for desert by 9:15 it was need your last drink order and 9:30 here’s your bill! Waiter had already been over to advise us they are closing soon. Was quite off putting but the food was very nice so hopefully just a one off.

Brilliant food and service and never fails, food excellent and so much to choose especially for vegetarians. The vegetarian moussaka is beautiful. Visited twice over the last few weeks and the standard of food is very high, service is spot on. Highly recommend and will return

We have eaten here today, can’t fault anything about it, will definitely be back, staff were great and asked if everything was ok, and did we want our mains, also a free drink as it was our anniversary.

Oh wow came here for family lunch had the 3 course for £20 and can honestly say I will be returning very soon, the staff was extremely nice and I didn't feel rushed to eat the starter and main come straight after we was asked if we was ready for our main and then also dessert, we had 2 baby's and 7 year old very understanding, portion sizes was perfect not small and half way eating my main I was feeling full, so I recommend not eating a lot of bread on the starters as you can ask for more free of charge, cakes was beautiful the meatballs main has to be favourite and chicken wings

Have eaten here several times and love it. Wide range of foods to choose from and the staff are very friendly and attentive. You can choose from a selections of tapas style dishes or larger plates. Everything we had was very tasty. We will be back!

My Wife and I had our first date night in over a year on Sat night, after many glowing reviews from friends and a prior visit by my wife we decided on Deli Felice. The ambiance of the place impressed as we were seated, a singer did her stuff in the corner and it added to the atmosphere without being intrusive. As soon as we sat down someone was over to take the drinks order and this was followed almost immediately for our food order. Our starters came within minutes and they were spot on, really nice Within 2 minutes of our starters appearing our mains were in front of us….2 minutes. We both had the mixed chicken and lamb kebab and they were outrageously nice, the meat, the rice and the salad all delicious It’s just a shame that it was rushed. We sat down at 18:40, by 19:10 we had finished. I’m 50 years old and have been eating out all my life. I even used to write an in-work blog about the bars and restaurants in Manchester. In all this time I’ve never felt as rushed as I did on Sat. Not calling it but you do get better service in ‘Spoons for half the price. 30 mins from sitting down to finishing your main is just unacceptable.

Great tasty food and a reasonable price. The only problem is although they offer vegan options they don’t fully understand what vegan is. The menu states vegan skewer with rice but only when I stressed I as vegan was I told the rice had butter in it , when it arrived it was served with non vegan tzatziki so just be warned especially if you have an allergy.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, the staff are amazing and the food is superb, you are definitely missing out if you have not tried here… Every time we have visited the experience is superb👍👍👍👍👍

Tried Deli Felice for the first time this week and enjoyed the visit. Portions are generous and there's a very good early evening set menu. There's a decent choice of wine by the glass and the bonus of proper Turkish coffee, which you rarely see outside Manchester. Friendly service was from from Mer and V. We went for an evening meal last night and it was great - nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and gorgeous food. Drinks: Efes (x5) Aperol & Black Russian Starters: Mozzarella Sticks (x2) & Whitebait (x2) Mains: Chicken Casserole, Sirloin Steak, Lamb Shish, and Chicken & Lamb Shish Sides: All mains came with salad & Turkish rice Extras: French Fries & Seasonal Veg It is a little on the pricey side, but what isn’t these days? We found it pretty reasonable for everything we had and the service we received; it came to about £40 per head when split equally between four people.

(Using hubbys account to leave review)First visit last night, lovely setting, but wasnt too impressed with food, ordered a sea food platter to share with husband ( £40 ) Food arrived completely covered in a spicy chilli sauce, couldnt eat any of it, no mention of this on menu, good job husband will eat anything but he said he couldnt taste the food as so spicy. Then came the bill, wasnt happy with a 10% service charge of almost £19 which all 4 of us thought was excessive, its a shame as its probably put us off going back again.

I have eaten at Deli Felice a few times before and always enjoyed the experience and left good reviews, until we visited for my birthday on Wednesday night.Neither the starters or main course were very hot and the plates were cold. Since lockdown the portions have become smaller, the prices higher and a service charge added to the bill - I thought tipping was up to the individual and not forced on you to pay an extra 10%The people on the next table left half there meal and walked away, obviously they were not impressed either.The restaurant was not overly busy, but there was a table of 10 and a table of 7 - I thought that only tables of 6 were allowed indoors (or are kids invisible).I don't think we will book to go there again, and am saddened to see how the restaurant has deteriorated.

Looking at previous reviews seems we were fortunate! We had a booking yesterday for 1800 along with some other people but were turned away due to electrical problems in the kitchen. There was no offer of a drink, or a booking for another day,. On walking away it was apparent that the restaurant was full, and oddly lights were on,using playing, etc. Hubby went back and challenged staff ro be told the people downstairs had eaten earlier and this was a wedding party. I suspect there were vast sums being spent over the bar and this involved less work for more profit. Shan't bother going back.

Been here several times and loved it. Very disappointed this time. The prices have gone up but the portions have gone smaller. Had patatas bravas to start. Did not enjoy this at all. Boiled new potatoes in a very spicy tomato sauce. Didn’t eat them, neither did two others who were with us. I also had a halloumi kebab. Three pieces of halloumi and the rest was peppers and onions, a small portion of rice and a disappointing salad. No chips!!! Dessert and cocktails were still nice. Left hungry. Service quite slow. Had to go up to counter twice to ask for service. Will not be visiting again.

Could not fault the experience we had when we visited last Friday (14/5) we made a last minute booking but were accommodated. We were shown outside and picked a table as guided by the host. They have outside heaters which is an added bonus! We were recommended 3/4 dishes each and chose some to share, everything came out quickly and accordingly. Food was lovely! We went to the deli faleice last night for meal with are friends, it was my first time and wS shocked we had such a gorgeous place on are door step. The food was fantastic, the staff were very professional.We will definitely be back soon.

We’ve been here before and had a lovely meal but this time did not match our first experience.We were shown to our table and then left for 15 minutes. We had to ask a waiter for a menu and drinks in the end. Drinks were ok, white wine was not the best quality for the price but was not horrible. Starters came incomplete and we had to ask for the rest which were promptly brought to be fair.The list of mains was very small. We both thought our food was average. Such a shame really as it was so much better before the closedown due to Covid.

Shocking!! Will not be returning. We understand it might have only just re opened but to be sat waiting for 45 minutes and having to ask to order and then complain just to get drink is appalling. It’s not even full and most of the staff are just hanging around doing nothing! God knows what it would be like if it was busy and full!When the drinks finally turned up, the order was completely wrong. An hour in and the starters haven’t arrived. Wouldn’t be too much of an issue but when you are only allowed a table for an hour and half it’s an absolute joke. We had a young child with us and food was being served to groups of people who arrived and ordered way after us. There were only 3 of us!!! We had to resort to feeing out daughter snacks as she was getting very hungry!They were not prepared to reopen and all of the tables are closer than 2 metres. We used to come here quite often but this experience has deterred us from coming back again! The final straw is that it’s supposed to be Turkish, yet the food is caked in grease! My daughters meal was fish fingers and chips, only they would be less cooked in a crematorium. I had to dab the filo parcels with a napkin as the grease was spilling out onto the plate, the Turkish sausage was inedible and sent back.We were tempted to walk out but then the starters arrived. We debated ordering another drink but didn’t have until midnight for it to arrive!!!When the mains finally arrived, the ottoman lamb casserole was served in an ashtray with 11 stray chips as a garnish. Whats worse is the lamb casserole was more mushroom and had a strong after taste of earth! The only saving grace was when the waiter realised how annoyed we were he reduced the bill to a third. Yet still not good enough. Whilst there 4 tables walked out after the starters as the service was that terribly slow.

We have eaten in the restaurant loads of times and the food has been excellent. We had a take away delivered last Friday due to lockdown. The food was terrible and the portions were a lot smaller than the restaurant portions but the prices are the same. Will not be eating here again.

Food ordered for 6.30pm delivery,arrived at 7.45pm after I phone call at 7.10pm to ask where it was ,it’s left earlier we were told.It arrived freezing cold and totally wrong order,only one main dish,rang them they said you only ordered one ! Why send me 2 lots of chips and salad and charge me for two,manger offered to send me the other one,what time would I have got it midnight,he then he would refund it ,I paid cash so have to wait to see if they bring it round,been there a few times ,but won’t be going again,awful.

Hard to believe we have not been here before. The food was fantastic and hot which is quite rare these days. Everything was well cooked and a good verity. Well priced too, highly recommended which I don’t say often

Went for a family in August for the first time in months, heard good things about this place and didn't disappoint.We were made to feel safe, secure and re-assured by the staff who were very appreciative of our custom.There was decent choice on the menu and all food was fantastic, tasty and good portions. They also had a 2 or 3 course special on during certain times which was good value for money.Hopefully won't be too long before we go again.

Great welcome, covid secure, great service. Food great, hot mixed starter I could eat all day. Be great if there could be balloon bread as is more traditional in Turkey. Shame the Turkish wine isn't by the glass as lots of people probably miss out on it as the import price is high.Love going here but it's verging on being overly expensive.

came here with 7 of us in total, all family, they were following the track and trace guidelines, the staff were keeping their distance and all wearing masks and the tables were adequately spaced apart.The restaurant was quite busy and there are some tables with a view of the canal.I decided to go for the set menu which was 2 courses for £13.95 or 3 for £15.95,, I decided to have the lovely meatball starter which was very tasty, then ottoman spicy lamb casserole followed by the chocolate orange cake, which all the food was nice and presented very well.what a good deal an extra course for only £2 more :-)There is an excellent variety of food, friendly staff and reasonable prices, they can cater for families, friends or even a good romantic setting with a lovely decor , i would definitely recommend going here and look forward to my next visit.

Just returned from the Deli after enjoying a great meal.Started with garlic bread and olives, husband had the Lamb stew and I had the chicken Shish, both were delicious and excellently presented.!We shared a carrot cake with ice cream, and a bottle of Turkish Rosé, a first for me, I usually have a French côté d’ Provence, I wasn’t disappointed.Service was extremely good, the server Ty, had a good knowledge of both the wine list and the menu.!Really a very good meal, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Rang up for a delivery spent nearly 7 minutes trying to place a order to someone who could not understand a word we were telling her and ordered twice as much food as we wanted she did not tell us the price over the phone and landed us with a £75 bill for a take away for 4 no starters just mains which should has cost up around £50, so when i rang to complain she passed the blame onto us when clearly she did not understand a word we were saying and to add to the problem when it came it was all luke warm and not even a apology so hence we will not been dining in there again and defiantly not ordering a take out .

This is certainly a hidden gem in Stalybridge.Had a late lunch today with my family, my daughter has been here with friends and found it to be extremely delightful.The food was very tasty, presented well, staff attentive and pleasant and a delightful ambiance.As for the set menu,excellent value, two courses £13.95 or three courses £15.95,portions are very generous.This hidden gem is well worth a visit if you should ever be visiting Stalybridge.I will most certainly be coming back.

Went for lunch based on ta reviews. The place itself is ok and looks attractive from the outside. The lunch menu is good value and the chicken kebab cooked nicely although it arrived with unpleasant oily salad leaves. However all the waiters hardly said more than what is you order. No smiles or customer service. Food and drink arrived and was just plonked down.

this was a place that I had heard food things and it was local , so was one of the next places to try.tried to book at 4 as there was a set menu offer on 12 till 4, the person answering the phone seemed to want to charge me the higher price at 4 so they said I could come in at 3.30 and have that.there was also a tapas offer at 4 dishes for £14.95?sat in a lovely decorated room downstairs and managed to get a table next to the window and see the canal.when choosing the food there was quiet a good range but an even bigger range slightly dearer for the sunday to thursday offer, we also got givern some bread tro start.funnily enough when the staff pointed me towards the dearer set menu , i had to remind him the cheaper one as it was only 3.35, (the cheaper one was at 4)hmm ' he didn't know the time' apparently' was his reply,not a great start.I ordered the garlic mushrooms for starter, the lamb mince skewer which was nice and came with chips rice and some salad,both presented very well.I also had a pint of lime and soda, at £3.50 for a pint? and finally there was a choice of around 6 desserts,so ihad the choc orange cake (coudl have ice cream as well for an extra£1.50, not bad), presented very well againI would love to eat here again and it looks like they make an effort if it is your birthday too, with candle, cake and music, seen this in another local turkish place.I would eat here again and hope to try some more of the food, just a bit of a brush up on customer service and not every opportunity to make a bit extrathis set menu was £9.95 for 2 coruses or £11.95 for 3 courses.

Went here with a group of friends from work on a Thursday evening. Atmosphere was good, man playing the guitar whilst eating, belly dancer came out and did a bit. We ate from that evening special menu which the food was lovely the only thing I would say is the kebabs needed a little more bread as you only get a tiny slice and the desserts needed a bit of ice cream or something with them. But all round a good meal and will be going again.

Average food ordered peri peri skewers, got one which wasn’t even a skewer just chicken pieces laid in a line. We found the male staff very rude, leaning over you to collect cutlery whilst your trying to pour wine, relaying the table whilst your still sat at it.

Smart venue, really good food and decent prices. Have been a few early evenings now and enjoyed it. HOWEVER watching videos on facebook the vocalist is very old school belting out (Im being polite) old songs and noone looks interested. That would not tempt me in. Stick to the good food, that will get you repeat customers who want a relaxed classy ambience.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I have been to this restaurant time and time again and have never been disappointed. If you can’t afford too much, they very kindly have a ‘set menu’ at lunchtime and in the evening which is very affordable. I will never tire of this place

Great welcome and great service.

We had heard great things about this restaurant andmanaged to go lst Thursday. We had a garlic bread to share followed by a mixed tapas. All the food was excellent, we had to ask for bread for the tzatsiki, the bread wasn't pitta as expected but OK. The wine is unfortunately overpriced. On Thursday evenings they have belly dancing but we were inearly so missed out on that.

I visited Deli Felice which serves Turkish, French and British cuisine at the end of November with a friend for lunch, and enjoyed it so much I went back again in December and took another friend for lunch.
