Really good food with a friendly service. Will definitely use again.

Lovely meal and plenty of it. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. The waiters are friendly and attentive. The toilets are very scruffy and not very clean which is why I only gave 4 stars.

I've been here a few times since it's changed hands, very lovely food and good staff. The naan breads are great.

I had a fantastic meal here. A cosy and beautifully decorated restaurant., Great service, friendly staff and amazing food. I personally recommend the Lamb Korai, which was delicious.

Indian food cooked with love. If carlsberg made indian food this would be it. Probably the best Indian food outside of India!!! Most definately going to be ordering again and to be honest I can't wait until our next order.

Choose this based on previous reviews although chatting to owner discovered its now under new ownership. We were the only couple in the restaurant so atmosphere was neutral. The meal was superb and reasonable priced. We should all show support for these small independents or we will loose them.

Although my keema naan was the best I've ever had and my chicken madras was delicious, the service did let it down slightly but not much. Unlike other madrases I have had, this one didn't leave me needing the emergency services and instead was a lovely spiced dish with just the right amount of heat. I will try the jalfrezi next time...... Very impressed.

Second time we’ve ordered from here since moving to the area and it’s been amazing both times. The portion are large, tasty and fresh. One of us is a vegetarian and they will create dishes that aren’t advertised to accommodate. I would highly recommend Delhi cottage to anyone that enjoys good Indian food. It was also an added bonus that they provided some freebies with our most recent order.

Just ordered from here first time. Recently moved to Irchester. Delivery time said 45 mins. As I live close it arrived in under 20! Food cooked to perfection. I love a korma. Sweet, coconut flavour was perfect. Had many kormas that have come spicy and different colour to what a good korma would look like but the flavour of the sauce with the pilau rice and garlic naan was honestly the best I've had for a VERY long time. Don't normally do many reviews but I'm that impressed with how delicious that korma was for me personally I had to give 2 thumbs up! :) Can't comment on atmosphere as haven't been in but I'm sure it's just as great as the service I've received right now. Thanks for rounding of my evening nicely!

Simply the best Indian around moved here 2 years ago and tried many Indian for the first 6 months then we found Delhi cottage and wow won’t be going anywhere else. Keep up the great work cheers

Utterly dissapointed... I've been looking forward to a curry all day; the monstrosity that was delivered was absolutely terrible and not up to usual spec. The portion size has decreased significantly, no salad bags, sauces or poppadoms and to be frank - I've had better microwave ready meals! The main components of both our meals were literally a few warm meat lumps floating in a bland watery sauce!! What's happened? Time to find a new Indian restaurant to use - won't bother with Delhi cottage again, can't face the dissapointment.

The food was exceptional. Enjoyed my meal and was a very tasty dinner! Meat was cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice and flavour balancing everything. The driver was really polite will be ordering again!!

Lovely little restaurant with a manager who is clearly very proud of his business. Brilliant food and service, cannot fault them at all.

Delivered wrong food ask for replacement call me back after 30min and ask to return the wrong order which I was waiting to give away when I received my order but there was not order been rude and ask to order somewhere else disgusting service my family was sick had to wait another 2 hr to get food from different place

I normally use this company and their food is such a high standard but today i ordered myself some dinner. The chips were stale and horrible and the prawn massala was bland as anything. Such a shame as this was my go to for an indian. Unfortunately half of it went into the bin

The food from the Delhi cottage is of a very high standard, the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend, they are always happy to adapt their dishes to meet customers dietary needs. Well done and thanks to all involved

Great food and very tasty. There is parking nearby but it's limited. You also can take your own alcohol. Staff are friendly too.

The best Indian restaurant there is, me and my partner love Indian cuisine, we have been ordering from here for almost a year and we get atleast 3 a month, we have eaten Indian food all over the UK and in the far East on our travels and this is by far the best indiam food we have ever found and just can't get enough, the chicken balti is the best we have ever tried and the delivery is fast and polite, the telephone manner is top class and we just love ordering our evening meal from them, thankyou dehli cottage for another wonderful meal we will be ordering again very very soon, keep up the amazing work and wonderful food

We have had a few take outs and the food is always really great. We recently ordered a delivery for 6 and not only was it delivered on time, the food was delicious. Great service and we aim to come and eat in very soon. Would highly recommend this friendly local restaurant.

We love ordering takeaway from here but today we ate at the restaurant. It's all been redecorated with brighter walls and lighting. It's more inviting, the staff are lovely and the food is just top notch. Try the Phall if Vindaloo is too mild for you, I dare you!

Can't recommend this place enough, we have been regular customers for a while and tonight they went over and above when the bag split and spilled all over the kitchen, I rang to advise that the handle had broken on the bag just incase it happened to anyone else and they kindly replaced all the main meals, thank you so much it was very kind.

Friendly staff. Food was edible, but my lamb was tough. Just a local curry house where the location suited. I probably wouldn't rush back.

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The staff were very helpful. They don't serve alcohol but we were able to take our own and the glasses were provided by the restaurant. The food tasted amazing.

Absolute lies. We were not offered freebies, you did not try to call me back and funny because I live in a flat which you have to buzz on to get upstairs..not a door to be knocked. Disgusting Customer service. Will be making people aware not to order from this place. For future reference do not put salad in bags which look mushy, we are not peasents.

First of all customer service bad! I had a call to say the driver was knocking at my house but wasn't so I called back and the man was talking to someone else and hung up, I tried to call back again he was reluctant to answer. When the food arrived..the portions were good..I give them that. But the salad ..mushy in plastic sandwich bags. BIG NO. We had the mixed grill and the meat was dry and the nan half burnt. NEVER AGAIN.

had our first Indian from here this evening and we were both pleasantly surprised.it was so lovely and cool in the restaurant and the gentleman at the desk was smarty dressed as were the rest of the staff and he was so nice to talk too.i was given one of their flyers.when I took the meal home it was delicious couldn't find fault with any of it.would definitley recommend it to any one...is one of the best around at the moment

Absolute gem of a restaurant. 7 of us ate there last night. Food was really good, lamb rogan melting in the mouth and full of flavour. The staff were attentive, engaging and friendly. Bring your own booze, there's a co op 50 metres away. Portions were generous, 7 of us came away full and content and the bill worked out at just £12 per head, a really nice surprise at the end of the evening. They do take away too.

We found this gem of a place from their leaflet that came through our letterbox. We thought try it out as had had a bad experience one that was a lot closer. The food is authentic & all the staff there genuinely want to ensure that the customers are happy with the food. The food is tasty & if you have a special request they will do best to cater. Thank you Delhi Cottage - look forward to when we can come and dine in.

I've had 3 meals in a week from this superb Indian restaurant. The food is so tasty and excellent value. I've had 2 chicken Naga's and a chicken Korai. Outstanding. The staff are superb and really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Just had one of the best currys I've had a along time. Arrived just before stated time, was piping hot, very good portion size and very taste. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will use again.

Had a takeaway of Chicken Phall and Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and naan bread etc. The Phall flavour and heat were absolutely outstanding!!! Food was hot and superbly cooked too. Will be ordering again and can highly recommend. Full marks for these folks!!!
