Disappointing. One drink didn't arrive until after we reminded the staff. The adult all day breakfast had the same ingredients as the child portion but cost three pounds more - no mushrooms and just one hash brown. We've eaten at several other Lounges. I hope this was just a bad day and not the norm for the Delfino.

I love Delfino lounge. As someone who's gluten- and lacto-free, they always have something I can eat, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff are great: friendly and very accommodating. They also make some wickedly fantastic cocktails. Highly recommend their signature cocktail - the Cherry Bakewell.

We didn't eat today, but have done previously and it's always been great. The price point od pretty high and truly, the location doesn't match the cost at over £6 a pint.

I went upstairs at a quiet time to use the toilet. I did not "Wait to be seated". Roxy Music: "Love is the Drug" playing. Not my favourite tune, but one I have always liked. What knocked me out were the pictures. Individually, you could argue that they were in bad taste. I remember one from the Eighties. But overall, the effect was magnificent. They are hung close together in an old fashioned way. Almost as if they have so many, they don't know what to do with them. I sat in a lovely sofa with fantastic cushions, next to a table and two comfortable chairs I was able to observe a family I ordered via the app and my table number - a coffee. Falkland Square: I was originally attracted by the Royal Navy/Marines War Memorial, 2023. I don't necessarily like this side of life, but I am interested in history. And when push comes to shove, I do hope our boys can do their stuff.

Me and my boyfriend visited The Delfino lounge on the 25th of July at 3.30, we orders a twisted club sandwhich with no tomato, and white bread along with fries and a smashed avocado bunch with no chilli and corriander. in which the food arrived they said when ordering they ran out of ciabbata which is understandable so we were okay with it, however when the food arrived it came normal the smashed avocado brunch with chilli and corriander, and the twisted club sandwhich came with tomato and brown bread, the fries were not given at the time we waited about 5 min and my boyfriend had to go to the till to ask where the fries were and they forgot to put it through the till. my boyfriend didn't make any comments on his food as he didn't want to cause extra hassle. when the food came second time round the boy giving us the food just handed it over and didn't give us forks and knives the first time round when my boyfriend got his food with the forgotten chips, about 3 min later after getting my food the chips arrived, in which they were the only good thing about our meal. the avocado brunch was in appauling state, with the egg undercooked as you could see the flem and the avocado was not smashed it was given in chunks, i have had this exact meal in other lounges and everything was given to a high standard whereas here it was appauling. it did not feel nice to even sit here and enjoy our food as everything felt rushed.

The menu lied. I ordered pancakes with "maple syrup," and they served up some spongy pancakes with a cheap, weak, citrusy concoction that had clearly never touched a maple tree. As a Canadian, I take personal umbrage at the fraud. Yuk!

It's up and running and very busy with holiday makers. There all over the country now. French Vanila cooler, very tasty. Everywhere is better in the summer.

Amazing experience here, so much so we came back another 2 times in the same week! Amazing food for breakfast and great drinks as always!

Always like coming here, the food, the service and they like dogs

The staff here are very friendly. I find the prices a bit high and the menu a bit limited. It is licensed so good for an evening meal. They have WiFi which wil recognise your device after the first time. This is really great. A licensed cafe which serves hot food too. Their coffee is terrible in my opinion, but there you go. I notice Dorset Chat Club meets here on a Wednesday morning. There is a group for widows once a month upstairs.

We visited Delphino Lounge in Poole today. Walking up to the front door we commented on how dirty the front outside area was, full of litter on the ground. We waited a good while at the door for someone to welcome us in to get seats and menus.They we're pleasant and helpful. We sat upstairs and I said goodbye to my daughter who was going to a different shop while I planned on having some food/ a drink with my dog. As soon we I sat down the dog grabbed a meat bone and a sausage that had been left on the floor by our table ( together with old receipts and paper. This is a worry for us as our dog has a medical problem controlled by prescription diet..now he will quite possibly be ill. On leaving I saw so much more food/ rubbish on the floors and tables. It was FILTHY!

Went for breakfast today, have been before so we know it's good. I like ordering by scanning the q code. The only fault is having to decide on adding a tip to the bill whilst paying. I prefer to see what the service is like so i didn't leave one today.

Had an impromptu lunch, used the online ordering with QR code. All very efficient and easy. And food very nice.

Love this place I had a bacon and avocado salad bowl and it did not disappoint. Service was good and fast.

I am genuinely sorry to leave this review, it doesn't show Delphino as it should. I like Delphino because the staff are usually lovely. Yesterday wasn't that good. I'm a Carer and I go in for a break during the quieter times when I finish work. I'm always polite, yesterday the woman serving from late afternoon, (previous young lady was lovely) I left at 5.30 pm, had forgotten what hospitaly means. She was rude and dismissive. And just generally unpleasant.

Great atmosphere & excellent service! Food good quality. This company clearly understand allergies & intolerances. They ask about any issues on entering, before ordering and will issue you with your own menu, clearly stating and showing any possible offending ingredients. Too marks! Everywhere should be like this by law. This saves upsets and above all else saves trips to hospital, use if Epi pens, medication and above all else LIVES! Well done and thank you kindly for considering people such as myself. I no longer feel an alien. You have saved time and effort & provided a peace of mind. Highly recommend you and your amazing team 👍😍 I've been in all of your branches in the South & South East & you are outstanding.

Clean and great service. Good atmosphere. Portion size for food a little lean, not suitable for lunch, more a large snack. 40% - 50% higher bill than a generic pub / restaurant. Not easy to navigate with a pushchair.

Had quite a long till wait to order food and was a little disappointed when it arrived, for the price not as good portion or presentation as expected, it tasted good though. My daughter had a kids meal which was nice, again a little more expensive than I'd expected. We loved the games and the chilled ambience

Last Thursday we decided to try this place out for brekkie. Apart from waiting about 40mins for 2 poached eggs and salmon on a muffin and three little tapas choices, my poached arrived 'stone cold'. I called the guy over and told him of the issue, and he said, "There was only 3 staff in the kitchen today" Then i noticed, while i was waiting, the staff were using the same stairs to carry and serve food and drink up and down the same that the customers were using. At one time, three women were carrying a buggie up them with a kiddie still in it. Ridiculously dangerous. The toilets were absolutely filthy and all wet over the floor, which suggests they are obviously not periodically checked. Tables were sticky also. I was offered my refund back for my breakfast, as i couldn't wait any longer for something else. So in all, a very disappointing experience and wouldn't visit again. You obviously need more staff, and a better, safer method of getting food from your kitchen to customer's tables.

Orange machine 5* Food always good, for a classy spoons, recommend for groups as long as you're early. Always closes early, 10pm door was locked, maybe need to update hours.

So much more than breakfast, excellent in every way.

I’ve been to a few of these lounges and I rate them for what they are, an easy bit of lunch in the middle of a day out. I’ll always go for the buttermilk chicken, but it’s really the tomato shaped ketchup bottles that bring me there, bloody love them. It’s a super casual place, like the rest of the lounges I’ve been to, the walls are stacked with lovely paintings, I do think the interior is something that they do really well, always a nice atmosphere. I couldn’t comment on the service, because there isn’t any. You walk in, are told to sit where you like and to order through the app, someone brings you your food, and that’s about all the interaction you’ll be getting. If you want water, you go and fill it up yourself from a big keg. For some people I can imagine this is a simple dream, however my preference would be to have a bit more of a personal experience. I think these QR code systems were perfect for lockdown, and still work well for busy places, and I suppose you can call this place busy, but yeah service is just a little touch that I enjoy when I go out to eat. The food has never let me down; hence why I keep coming back. It’s nothing extravagant, but nothing short of a standard tasty meal. Prices are a little hefty, especially the drinks (£3.90 for a small bottle of coke) so I went with the self serviced water. My glass was a little dirty actually but nothing worth throwing a fit about. Just a classic bit of chowder at Delfino Lounge!

Excellent breakfast and service

Great place to come, with it's boho atmosphere. Food is good, I recommend the halluomi burger and the tapas! The only downside to EVERY lounge is, that they only ever have one person serving behind the bar. It doesn't matter if it's dead or heaving, so it can take a while to get served. Other than that, polite staff, good atmosphere and good food.

Didn't eat but food did look good, decent place

Despite them being very busy, the staff were cheery, pleasant, attentive and efficient. The food was quicker than expected and was very tasty. Chicken, bacon and avacado burger was delicious. Great value for money.

We visited yesterday and vowed never to return. A panini seemed to have been fried , was greasy and like no other panini (panino in fact) ever eaten before. A flatbread topped with harissa chicken and chorizo....the bread was so tough it was more like leather to cut. I could not detect harissa and the sausage on top I could not identify as chorizo. The topping had a sweet flavour to it. The whole thing was unpleasant. Although hungry, both of us could not finish the meal and left to share a muffin from elsewhere to take away the aftertaste. The service was chaotic but friendly and we waited a long time for this disappointing meal to be served.

Fantastic restaurant! Ended up coming back 3 times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast! Great good and service every time

The food never disapoints at this place and always comes with efficient service too! Very convenient to order with the app by the table QR code, leaving the staff free to deliver your order without delays.

Awful place, service! What service? My husband and I went for breakfast we were told to use the app on our phones to order but when we finally managed to download it, the breakfast was unavailable!!! We went to the bar to see if it was an error on the system and the barman told us that they had run out of bacon!. Unbelievable, so just add an extra sausage or use your initiative and send a staff member to sainsbury and buy some its a 3 minute walk away. The tables were dirty, the service is non existent and no atmosphere what so ever. Also try putting the heating on as it's freezing. In answer to your response it was Friday 16th February, my husbands birthday. We came into your cafe bar at approx 10am before catching the train to Southampton to see a show. It was definitely Delfino lounge and you definately had run out of bacon and therefore the breakfast had been taken taken off. Instead of trying to discredit a customer, I suggest you do the right thing and apologise for the atrocious service and terrible response. Own your problems and address them.

Very different, relaxed atmosphere. Games and books available and colouring for the kids while you wait. Order at the table (or sofa). Amazing food and service every time.

Not a good experience, often visit this lounge and up until now very happy. The staff are great. Unfortunately we were shocked at the state of the ladies toilets, they were disgusting and not how they used to be, it’s not pleasant or acceptable in any way. Just awful. Cannot visit again as it was so bad

Went on a Sunday evening, lovely quiet and relaxing meal.

Nice food good service, recommend. Dog friendly too which is a bonus. Went for a late lunch on a Friday and although it was fairly busy there was still plenty on tables to sit at. All the staff were super nice and service was good.

Excellent food, brutally good flavors... kind staff.

We have popped in to grab a brunch, and firstly we were "welcomed" by a girl that looked half asleep and strugling to appear awake, I mean she was blinking so slow it was hard not to questions if she is falling asleep or is on something.... Then, when we then asked for a table for 2, we were informed to find our own table scan, QR code, and order via app...so pointless to que really.... We found that whole interaction was a waste of everyone's time as we could have done that without this strange exchange and the staff time could have been so much better utalised by cleaning the empty tables. There were plenty of empty seats but very few cleared tables, so we had to sit on a table for 8 as it was the only clear table that you could eat your food from. I was disappointed as we have been here previously and there were no issues....

Very busy but still delivered excellent food and friendly service. Very popular. Excellent service for both kids and canine visitors.

Went Christmas Eve after booking about 3 weeks before and filling in Christmas menu 4 days before arrived and they had no record of booking or menu. Luckily it was dead in there so got a table. We ordered 3 courses but they turned up with our main. We complained got offered free puds which were very small and not that good. One of the puds we had to ask for after we’d finished the others and when we got it it was churros and tasted like they’d been reheated. When they sent the feedback form to me I told them what I thought and got a badly worded and spelt email back basically saying you had free puds what you moaning about. Not impressed at all

I was with a group of friends awaiting food order. Everyone else got theirs.... I saw a waitress take, what looked like my order, to another table. They didn't say they were not waiting for anything 🙄😏 they had already got their order. So I waited to find a member of staff.... They did eventually confirm that my order went to another table! The toilets were full of kids and men??!! The child was sick 😩 hopefully not from eating my hummus 🤣 I won't be happy to go there in a hurry. Call me a snob.... But was full of unsavoury people.

Went for a meal on the Saturday afternoon and was let down by the atmosphere. There was a strange deaf man drunk sat near us causing a scene in and outside the restaurant shouting ect the bar staff were happy to keep him happy with drinks. When my partner went to order the food a few staff were saying how cute my dog was but the one serving me said am I the only one that doesn't like sausage dogs? and it isn't a proper dog. Which we feel is really rude to say infront of us especially when paying for a meal. After sitting and been watched by the man previously mentioned from start to finish felt uncomfortable. Its a shame as it was good but we won't be going back! The food was on a par with weatherspoons.

Nice, quiet place, but sticky, messy table really disappointed me.

Ruined my sons weddings was asked More than five times for wheelchair accessible seating and they still tried to seat us upstairs. Despite the table being booked weeks in advance they weren't ready for us and made us wait an hour in Costa. We had to put in a food order two weeks before we went but they then made us wait an hour for the first course. An hour after that they had to be asked to clear tables and bring out our puddings. We were only a party of 12 so not sure why this caused so many problems

Excellent service when we popped in for lunch. Ordering via the website was super easy and the chap running orders from the kitchen (I don't believe he stopped once!) was friendly and helpful, despite just how busy he was. Food was lovely too - a large brekkie stuffed me (with a side of halloumi fries...)

Told on arrival that food would be half an hour which was ok but after waiting 55 minutes we queried it and told it would be there soon and it was my daughter had ordered chicken and chips and the chips arrived shortly after we had queried the long wait but the chicken never did arrive we got a refund and left never to return!!

Went in for lunch at 1240 no ciabattas left so was offered a toastie, ordered fries with one. 20 minutes later two very sad looking sandwiches one cut one uncut no garnish and no fries.. over £22 for two very poor sandwiches. Very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

At 12:30 had No ciabatta's so had two toasted sandwiches no garnish and also ordered fries they had come as the chap didn't put them through over all very poor and quality has dropped off over the last few months.

We had an enjoyable pre-theatre meal here. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. We had two different flatbreads, some sweet potato fries (gorgeous!) and the avocado and chicken burger. Good choice of drinks. Cheerful and friendly service. I don’t think that the poor reviews take into account that the staff have no idea how busy they will be as you can only book for a large party. I think they do a great job. There is so little choice of eateries at this end of the town centre. Keep it up, Delphino!

Sat down to order in the middle of the day on a Sunday and had another customer who seemed quite drunk already demand for us to watch his pint of beer whilst he went shopping. He came back to find another family had been seated at his table and shouted at them to move, which they did. After sitting back down he shouted at us for not watching his drink, grabbed my shoulder and tried to get us removed from the restaurant. We ended up having to leave our food and drinks untouched as he started taking pictures of us only to find out when calling the restaurant after we left that he was supposed to be with his carer and that he has caused a lot of issues multiple times before, somehow still being allowed in by himself to drink this much around families and children. We were offered to come back and dine for free which we'd organised a date/time for (middle of the day on a Sunday again) only to find when we turned up, the man was there again on his own, drinking and giving us abuse as soon as we walked in. We had to leave but called the restaurant only to have them insist he was sat with his carer (which he wasn't at all). Would not recommend.
