Worth the visit,will definitely go again

As always nice food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Came here on my way to Guernsey for a quick brunch. Pancakes were great, quick service and friendly staff. Would visit again if in Poole.

Flat bread time. I did leave a review before, seems google deleted it.

Limited menu and unable to fully enjoy what we had

We had a fantastic experience at Delfino Lounge today…it was the perfect breakfast experience! The food was lovely,it is also amazing that they do so many gluten free choices too for food. I had the Gluten Free Bacon and Sausage Butty which was delicious,the Sausages were particularly delicious. The Bacon was lovely too. I also ordered Chorizo,Hash Browns and Gluten Free Toast(with Butter and Jam)to come with the Bacon and Sausage Butty. The Hash Browns were delicious and so was the Chorizo. The Toast with the Butter and Jam were lovely too. The Service was quick and the Staff were friendly as always. The atmosphere is lovely too,at Breakfast this morning it had an upbeat happy vibe. The decor is lovely too,I love the paintings and the lights. I would recommend you sit upstairs because the Kitchen is upstairs. We were fortunate enough to sit right by the window where the Plaza to the Shopping centre is,it is a lovely view where you can see a thriving Town Square. The Shopping Centre attached is amazing too.

Perfect location for a meal before a concert at The Lighthouse.

Good place for dinner Order food we could only order on the app which did not always work

Was an average experience to be honest. Waited 40 minutes for our drinks which eventually came after our food had come out first. Got a tuna panini but the taste just seemed off and there wasn’t actually much flavour to it, the atmosphere was dim and dreary. Shame as I normally enjoy going to the lounge for a bite to eat.

dropped in in our way through and the food was delicious 😋. the burgers and tapas were huge portions and we were fit for bursting. staff really helpful and friendly and atmosphere relaxed and chilled

A lovely place in Poole, dog friendly, child friendly, wheelchair accessible and a good range of whole and healthy meals. There's a corner with games and books, a water area, and newspapers to read. Only issue I had was that the staff were too laid back, they're finishing a conversation before serving drinks etc that they've already made. And whilst I was enjoying my coffee on a bench and checking emails, one staff member slapped the table really hard as he was going pastand I could've pooped myself 😂 I know it was just a casual way to be energetic, however an elderly person person may have choked on their food..

Visited Delphino yesterday and enjoyed. Staff were lovely, coffee and drinks great. The atmosphere is calm and the space is large and airy

Sadly we didn't have a great food experience here last Sunday. Despite the massive sign at the entrance instructing us to "wait to be seated", no one took notice of us. We approached the bar after a while and were told to choose a table anywhere we wanted. We decided to go upstairs, many tables were free but clearly not cleaned properly (sticky drink rings still visible). We sat close to the kitchen and the stairs, so it was a very busy and noisy spot. Our food arrived in reasonable time, but it wasn't what we were hoping for. The burger was overdone/ burnt on one side so not enjoyable at all and other dish, Nasi Goreng, Malaysian rice, was served with overcooked prawns, dry and rubbery. I think I would prefer a few cooked, pink prawns tossed in the dish instead. The rice with pulled chicken tasted ok, just not spicy at all as red chillies were missing. The egg was fantastic though, whites perfectly set while the yolk was perfectly runny. We liked the decor and relaxed atmosphere but unfortunately, on this occasion the food we were served was a real disappointment. I don't think we'll be back to eat. Maybe just for a quick drink.

It's quite dark in here. They have a range of meals but none that appeal to me.

Great place, loads of choice if you have gluten intolerance like me, very friendly, we took our 2 year old and they gave him stuff to entertain him. Will come back.

Food ok, but very overpriced, place could do with a deep clean. But it was a nice place to stop for a rest and a drink 🍸

I'm disappointed that I feel short changed. I ordered a large breakfast, when it was ready it was brought over and announced as a large breakfast. When I looked, I did think there wasn't a lot on the plate. Anyway, curiosity got the better of me and after I'd left I checked the menu online and I realised I was missing a sausage, black pudding and another egg and toast. I was brought just a standard breakfast. Also, my fried egg was overcooked. I should have questioned it there and then but my plate was the last to come and I didn't want the rest of the table to have to then wait for me.

This place never disappoints. As a gluten and dairy free person I just love their menu, so much choice, and I have never had a reaction to their food.

Nowhere in Poole can come close to this! Never had a bad experience. Outstanding service, incredible food and the staff are always happy, bubbly and extremely helpful. Love the whole ethos of The Lounge restaurant.

Way over priced. Food wasn't the best

Friendly service, great environment and honest prices combine to offer a perfect destination for lazy breakfasts. Staff are always pleased to see you, and even when busy they take the time to make sure you have what you need.

Still the best pint in Poole and Vila Maria wine always spot on

Absolutely amazing food and service, we were served by Graham and could not fault him one bit. It’s not often my mum and I get to meet up due to myself living away so we throughly enjoyed it here. Delfino are very lucky to have Graham

Had only light lunch 'n'coffee but just perfect .

I enjoyed the food. Had an issue with one of the meals, but staff communication was good. Because of this they actually removed the desserts from our bill of their own accord. Would definitely go back.

Very busy but still delivered excellent food and friendly service. Very popular. Excellent service for both kids and canine visitors.

On a very busy Saturday, just before Christmas, may I say what excellent service from all the staff. Particularly Graham who was front of house. A credit to the company .

I would like to highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is a lovely and comfortable place, serving tasty food in a relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, approachable staff and manager. The chef is humble and kind. He has treated me respectfully and made me a special request with no any hesitation. I enjoyed myself here. Thank you, everyone, I will come back again.

Quick service but food is so overpriced. Ordered 2 slices of cake 4.20 each and the portion was tiny for the price! Was not fresh as well. Hot chocolates were nice though. Disappointing considering the price.

This is a must visit you enter and greated by a lovely lady dressed so smarty as are all of the staff who by the way are so friendly the food coffee and surroundings are fantastic Do go or you will missout

Not impressed with the toasted teacake. Asked if teacake had peel in it,and was told no. When it was given to us, the wife found it had peel in it. It also came with marmalade instead of jam. When I said about it, they said no jam came in that day, but we weren't told that when we ordered it. Sorry, we won't be going back.

Great place very interesting decor, helpfull & friendly staff, people having brunch or lunch which looked amazing, we had nice coffee in there. We Hope to visit again maybe for brunch & are looking forward to it.

Food is good if you like the selection. I used to love the choices here, but the menu has changed so much my 5 favourite options have all been removed, so my 3 stars is a little related to my disappointment. Expensive for what you get and portions aren't all that generous.

We loved our visit to Piazzo Lounge (Wimborne), so we decided to visit Delfino Lounge too 🥰 Slowly ticking them off our Lounge list 😂 The Lounges have an entirely gluten-free menu. They use separate tools in a separate area of the kitchen. Their staff and chefs are extensively trained in how to keep Coeliacs safe! The staff here were super friendly and really knowledgeable. The brisket is incredible 🤩

Busy when we arrived but md took a lot of trouble to find me a table down stairs due to mobility issues. Very helpful very good breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

Great value, nice staff with quick service and really tasty food.

This diner-pub follows the same formula as other spots in the Lounges group, with a broad international menu that aims to please a variety of tastes. I find their selection a bit too ambitious—spanning so many different dishes often means none truly stand out. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired during my visit. After ordering two beers upstairs, I found myself waiting for 25 minutes with no sign of them. In the end, I had to go down to the bar and fetch the drinks myself, which isn’t exactly what you expect when dining out. The atmosphere was still lively, and the upstairs seating offered a comfortable enough spot to relax. But if they could tighten up their service, it’d make the experience a lot more enjoyable.

The Food is taste so Good the place is well maintained and clean and the staff are friendly and the price is so affordable...highly recommended.

English breakfast with COLD eggs? Really disappointing as I was so hungry ate them. Mentioned to manager who contradicted me roundly.

Usual "lounge" franchise experience

Wow how difficult can a resturant make ordering food and drink for a group of diners.. no table service.. in a big group, you end up going up to the bar individually for drinks or ordering food. Or fight with the app to have everyone ordering separately and the food turning up at different times. Not great.. covid is over.. this method of service is now just lazy. Make the effort and take orders from the table for large groups... won't be going back.

Good food and drink at reasonable prices

Chose this venue as it was advertised as "dog friendly". Better description would be "dog tolerant", wouldn't recommend and won't return. Other Lounge restaurants much more welcoming to dog owners and their pups.

Thr all day breakfast is excellent, and i would rate it a 4* bit the other meal we ordered was absolutely terrible, the tuna melt. Overall the long wait time, and standard of the tuna melt bought the overall ratings down dramatically. Would recommend the brekkie though, so swings and roundabouts!

Food was nice and service was fairly quick at a peak time, but drinks were a little disappointing, especially considering the prices - we ordered some cocktails and they tasted as though they were missing ingredients.

All over it wad great but only down side is when it gets busy it gets really busy.

We really like the 'lounge' group of venues - this was our first visit to the one in Poole. It was OK but not up to the usual standard. Everything seemed sticky (table, floors, chairs) and abit dirty. The food was fine but not to the usual lounge standard - my poached eggs had shell in them and looked stringy like when I try to make myself. It wasn't awful - if it was the only place open I would eat here but I'd rather drive to a Lounge in Winton, Southbourne or Westbourne where I know the food and cleanliness is better.

Little slow with service & food wasn't very busy, but good atmosphere

Found Delfino lounge by chance. Was searching everywhere for a place to eat with my daughter who has celiac disease. Decided to go in here and was greeted by friendly staff who seated us and gave us a total gluten free menu. So much choice that would suit everyone's taste. Food was amazing, fast service and value for money. Would definitely recommend.

We had breakfast here on a sunny morning, so were able to sit outside and enjoy the summer. A good variety of breakfast menu. I had poached eggs served with spinach and mushrooms and others had poached eggs with bacon. Another had a bacon sandwich. They'd asked for crispy bacon and that is how it came. A haunt frequented by families and also a number of groups meeting in the upstairs area

All round fabulous let down only by miserable location; but then it’s hard to make a litter strewn shopping centre look good on a Sunday evening. Full marks Lounge; Poole? Must try harder.

Disappointing. One drink didn't arrive until after we reminded the staff. The adult all day breakfast had the same ingredients as the child portion but cost three pounds more - no mushrooms and just one hash brown. We've eaten at several other Lounges. I hope this was just a bad day and not the norm for the Delfino.

We didn't eat today, but have done previously and it's always been great. The price point od pretty high and truly, the location doesn't match the cost at over £6 a pint.

I love Delfino lounge. As someone who's gluten- and lacto-free, they always have something I can eat, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff are great: friendly and very accommodating. They also make some wickedly fantastic cocktails. Highly recommend their signature cocktail - the Cherry Bakewell.

Great atmosphere. Family friendly and excellent food.

I went upstairs at a quiet time to use the toilet. I did not "Wait to be seated". Roxy Music: "Love is the Drug" playing. Not my favourite tune, but one I have always liked. What knocked me out were the pictures. Individually, you could argue that they were in bad taste. I remember one from the Eighties. But overall, the effect was magnificent. They are hung close together in an old fashioned way. Almost as if they have so many, they don't know what to do with them. I sat in a lovely sofa with fantastic cushions, next to a table and two comfortable chairs I was able to observe a family I ordered via the app and my table number - a coffee. Falkland Square: I was originally attracted by the Royal Navy/Marines War Memorial, 2023. I don't necessarily like this side of life, but I am interested in history. And when push comes to shove, I do hope our boys can do their stuff.

Me and my boyfriend visited The Delfino lounge on the 25th of July at 3.30, we orders a twisted club sandwhich with no tomato, and white bread along with fries and a smashed avocado bunch with no chilli and corriander. in which the food arrived they said when ordering they ran out of ciabbata which is understandable so we were okay with it, however when the food arrived it came normal the smashed avocado brunch with chilli and corriander, and the twisted club sandwhich came with tomato and brown bread, the fries were not given at the time we waited about 5 min and my boyfriend had to go to the till to ask where the fries were and they forgot to put it through the till. my boyfriend didn't make any comments on his food as he didn't want to cause extra hassle. when the food came second time round the boy giving us the food just handed it over and didn't give us forks and knives the first time round when my boyfriend got his food with the forgotten chips, about 3 min later after getting my food the chips arrived, in which they were the only good thing about our meal. the avocado brunch was in appauling state, with the egg undercooked as you could see the flem and the avocado was not smashed it was given in chunks, i have had this exact meal in other lounges and everything was given to a high standard whereas here it was appauling. it did not feel nice to even sit here and enjoy our food as everything felt rushed.

The menu lied. I ordered pancakes with "maple syrup," and they served up some spongy pancakes with a cheap, weak, citrusy concoction that had clearly never touched a maple tree. As a Canadian, I take personal umbrage at the fraud. Yuk!

Amazing experience here, so much so we came back another 2 times in the same week! Amazing food for breakfast and great drinks as always!

We visited Delphino Lounge in Poole today. Walking up to the front door we commented on how dirty the front outside area was, full of litter on the ground. We waited a good while at the door for someone to welcome us in to get seats and menus.They we're pleasant and helpful. We sat upstairs and I said goodbye to my daughter who was going to a different shop while I planned on having some food/ a drink with my dog. As soon we I sat down the dog grabbed a meat bone and a sausage that had been left on the floor by our table ( together with old receipts and paper. This is a worry for us as our dog has a medical problem controlled by prescription diet..now he will quite possibly be ill. On leaving I saw so much more food/ rubbish on the floors and tables. It was FILTHY!

The food is great, I recommend it
