DECKYS TRADITIONAL CHIPPY in Armagh

Absolutely love this place. The new chilli hot dogs are my new favourite as well as the milkshakes

Came again with friends. They had a taco chip which was large and smelly in a good way. A 4 oz burger was filling. I had just a portion of onion rings. They come as 6 rings and batter is light and crispy and not too greasy. I enjoyed them. Only downside was youth working behind the counter drowned them in salt. So spoiled a bit. But overall my friends and I like this place.

The food wasn’t as great as some of the reviews online when searching for a new place to try. The chicken was a bit over cooked and greasy, the chips were 100% cooked in dirty oil, but it wasn’t the worst takeaway I’ve had. The chicken box, 2 drumsticks and 2 breasts with a lot of chips of £8 was a decent price 👍🏻

In the area and hungry so spotted DECKYS and ordered our take away. I ordered a 1/4 pound burger with onions and a half portion of onion rings. The burger was fine and tasty. I have eaten bigger but no complaints on quality or taste. My onion rings seemed to be a full portion or else just generous with a scoop of free chips. The onion rings were good and the chips were excellent. One friend had a cheese burger which again was fine, whilst the other had a fillet chicken burger with all the trimmings. This also was good and satisfying. The staff are very friendly and the place extremely clean. I would place this as the best all round chippy take out in the Armagh area. We will be back and recommend it.
