Had an amazing experience at dawats. We come here to do hygiene safety and are always impressive as always achieving the highest stars. Would highly recommend visiting as staff and food both amazing.

Boycott. 1. Everything is now expensive. 3 items for delivery, 50 pounds. Absolutely shocking. 2. No complimentary poppadoms after paying expensive amounts. 3. Food is great, I'll give it that but I won't be coming here anymore 4. No Kingfisher beer 5. Chicken wings and kebabs don't come on a sizzler plate.

Very good food, however this was spoiled by the choice of crowd in the restaurant at the time. We went on the weekend for lunch, whilst cricket was showing on screen and so this attracted certain members of the public that think it is ok to take their shoes off and put their feet on the chairs. They were also shouting loudly with the waiters, really ruining the experience & birthday that were were out celebrating for. Would recommend attending in the evening when there is more of a “normal” crowd.

This is a place where there might be a riot if you wore a Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and definitely one with a Pakistan top. A genuinely family atmosphere as loads of families were having small get togethers. The food is good and the service, attentive.

Naan was salty, they didn't take our orders properly, we ordered starters and naan, requested the naan to come with the starters, the naan came when we finished the starters. Taste of the food just wasn't right. Nothing like when we first went there.

They just have the very best Butter Chicken and Cheese naan in the entire capital. I hope they never changer their receets, cause the quality of the dishes is just amazing.

Great friendly service and excellent food

We came from Australia and had a dinner at Dawat bar and kitchen and food was 10/10. Environment is so good and the vibes is amazing. All the staffs were very friendly and lovely. I highly recommend everyone here specially for food, live music and overall hospitality atmosphere.

Great service, amazing food and a nice bar/restaraunt environement. They have TNT and Skysports showing live sports and is very family oriented catering all ages.

But disappointed with the service ,very slow had to remind waiters couple of times about the food n drinks order.Food wise a big no to the keema ,which came burnt (you could actually smell the burnt smell) ,although the manager agreed to change for another dish of chicken which was similar.They could not make another keema ,and seems that already pre-made in quantity for the day !

Not a fan really, chicken wasn’t nice at all, most of our food was really unexpectedly disgusting and smelt of bad meat. Food took long to come and honestly paid a lot for something that wasn’t nice at all. We barely ate our food and much was left and they only gave 10% off.

The food is pretty good. We loved the crusty, spicy and meltingly good lamb chops. The tandoori chicken wings were very good. The fried brocoli were so so The mains of MajiMaji chicken and kheema curry were good. The rice and nans were very good Service excellent

Best place about locally. Great prices, but on top of that dine-in service is great but also food quality always hits the spot. Great atmosphere, great chefs, owner is great fella too👊🏾will always come back for more. Waiters are brilliant always keeping an eye on customers & making sure everybody looked after properly! Brilliant place, will be back again definitely with my family very soon!👍🏾 Paneer Chilli 10/10, Mari masala chips 10/10 & my favourite Mushroom Pulao Rice 10/10. Cheese Naan 8/10, just needs to be a little thinner, but I can’t complain, it’s truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Vegetarian Food is a waste of money over all food is not good

Shriya was polite and accommodating from the second we walked through the front door. Both Raju and Anip checked in on us regularly and also recommended their own personal favourite dishes, which were delicious. 5* service 5* staff and 5* food. I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, but this was the best by far. Even my 12 year old son said it is the best meat he has eaten. Shout out to all the staff and chefs, especially Anup. He told us about the pepper French fries, which my son said was 100 out of 10. Make sure you come here to eat, even if you have to travel 2 hours

Great food, glad to have something decent on my doorstep. Chilli garlic broccoli - ask for it extra crispy 😋😋. Best dish but has to be eaten there. If you are a fan of live Indian band then visit on a Friday/Sunday but book in advance!!!

I really really enjoyed the food here it was absolutely delicious and even the service was incredible!! I’m very fussy when it comes to food so I asked the waitress for recommendations & she suggested chilli lamb which wasn’t on the menu - I took a gamble and honestly, it was SO WORTH IT!! It was amazing !!!! Really really recommend this place!! We had the chicken chops, the chilli lamb and the chicken biryani and my oh my ir was lovely!!! I really recommend this restaurant!! Such a hidden gem!

Lamb chops here are the best, so tender. Seekh kebabs were good too. Chilli chicken was nice and spicy. Nepalese twist on the dishes, all very good. Good choice of drinks too. Downside was repeatedly asking waiters to bring ice n extra sauces as they kept forgetting - not a big problem though. Also parking in the parades outside can be a bit tricky with finding spaces and a big enough parking spot. My first time there but definitely won't be my last - definitely come and eat here!

The food and service were good. The only thing this place is being let down by is the music, which is good but it is very, very loud so loud that you can't conversation with your friends on your table!

The Just eat delivery driver ate my food!! but I will def government Dawat 5 stars as they understood the issue and did all the can to rectify it. Dawat remade the food and the manager Rabin personally delivered it. App needs improvement. but 11/10 for the service at Dawat, would certainly recommend.

Service was nice and quick, but food was a disappointment, tasted very bland. We are indian so they should at least ask us how spicy we want it. Definitely will not return. Starters was nice, main food was ridiculous - they say in their menu that there is chillis in most their dishes- we didnt even taste one!!! Not many good food dishes on the menu either, needs a new, BETTER upgrade for the sake of other people.

If you like sweet and oily food this is the place to go to. I thought the food (two attempts)was too simple and 2-dimensional in taste to revisit. Many better alternatives in the local vicinity.

Loved the ambience there. Went on a Friday and happened to bump into one of their live music nights. Had an amazing time vibing to vintage music with my friends. The service was also impeccable! The food arrived within minutes of ordering it, despite being so busy and the quality was unmatched. Would definitely recommend for a date night or night out with friends.

One of my absolute favourites. Have been visiting quite regularly for 5+ years and have consistently gotten fresh and tasty food, attentive service and the perfect atmosphere, whether its 2pm on a Tuesday or 7pm on a Friday. The live Bollywood music takes the experience up a notch and is the perfect way to spend a Friday evening. Although there are many Indian restaurants in the area, I 100% recommend this restaurant purely for its authentic food and great service.
