Not a fan really, chicken wasn’t nice at all, most of our food was really unexpectedly disgusting and smelt of bad meat. Food took long to come and honestly paid a lot for something that wasn’t nice at all. We barely ate our food and much was left and they only gave 10% off.

The food is pretty good. We loved the crusty, spicy and meltingly good lamb chops. The tandoori chicken wings were very good. The fried brocoli were so so The mains of MajiMaji chicken and kheema curry were good. The rice and nans were very good Service excellent

Best place about locally. Great prices, but on top of that dine-in service is great but also food quality always hits the spot. Great atmosphere, great chefs, owner is great fella too👊🏾will always come back for more. Waiters are brilliant always keeping an eye on customers & making sure everybody looked after properly! Brilliant place, will be back again definitely with my family very soon!👍🏾 Paneer Chilli 10/10, Mari masala chips 10/10 & my favourite Mushroom Pulao Rice 10/10. Cheese Naan 8/10, just needs to be a little thinner, but I can’t complain, it’s truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Vegetarian Food is a waste of money over all food is not good

Shriya was polite and accommodating from the second we walked through the front door. Both Raju and Anip checked in on us regularly and also recommended their own personal favourite dishes, which were delicious. 5* service 5* staff and 5* food. I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, but this was the best by far. Even my 12 year old son said it is the best meat he has eaten. Shout out to all the staff and chefs, especially Anup. He told us about the pepper French fries, which my son said was 100 out of 10. Make sure you come here to eat, even if you have to travel 2 hours

Great food, glad to have something decent on my doorstep. Chilli garlic broccoli - ask for it extra crispy 😋😋. Best dish but has to be eaten there. If you are a fan of live Indian band then visit on a Friday/Sunday but book in advance!!!

I really really enjoyed the food here it was absolutely delicious and even the service was incredible!! I’m very fussy when it comes to food so I asked the waitress for recommendations & she suggested chilli lamb which wasn’t on the menu - I took a gamble and honestly, it was SO WORTH IT!! It was amazing !!!! Really really recommend this place!! We had the chicken chops, the chilli lamb and the chicken biryani and my oh my ir was lovely!!! I really recommend this restaurant!! Such a hidden gem!

Always great food and the staff are fantastic

Lamb chops here are the best, so tender. Seekh kebabs were good too. Chilli chicken was nice and spicy. Nepalese twist on the dishes, all very good. Good choice of drinks too. Downside was repeatedly asking waiters to bring ice n extra sauces as they kept forgetting - not a big problem though. Also parking in the parades outside can be a bit tricky with finding spaces and a big enough parking spot. My first time there but definitely won't be my last - definitely come and eat here!

Very Good Service From the Staff...

The food and service were good. The only thing this place is being let down by is the music, which is good but it is very, very loud so loud that you can't conversation with your friends on your table!

The Just eat delivery driver ate my food!! but I will def government Dawat 5 stars as they understood the issue and did all the can to rectify it. Dawat remade the food and the manager Rabin personally delivered it. App needs improvement. but 11/10 for the service at Dawat, would certainly recommend.

If you like sweet and oily food this is the place to go to. I thought the food (two attempts)was too simple and 2-dimensional in taste to revisit. Many better alternatives in the local vicinity.

Service was nice and quick, but food was a disappointment, tasted very bland. We are indian so they should at least ask us how spicy we want it. Definitely will not return. Starters was nice, main food was ridiculous - they say in their menu that there is chillis in most their dishes- we didnt even taste one!!! Not many good food dishes on the menu either, needs a new, BETTER upgrade for the sake of other people.

Loved the ambience there. Went on a Friday and happened to bump into one of their live music nights. Had an amazing time vibing to vintage music with my friends. The service was also impeccable! The food arrived within minutes of ordering it, despite being so busy and the quality was unmatched. Would definitely recommend for a date night or night out with friends.

One of my absolute favourites. Have been visiting quite regularly for 5+ years and have consistently gotten fresh and tasty food, attentive service and the perfect atmosphere, whether its 2pm on a Tuesday or 7pm on a Friday. The live Bollywood music takes the experience up a notch and is the perfect way to spend a Friday evening. Although there are many Indian restaurants in the area, I 100% recommend this restaurant purely for its authentic food and great service.

I honestly can not say enough about this place. The food is always amazing, and on point, never has it just been "ok." it's always been "amazing and flavoursome." This is my favourite restaurant this is due 2 amazing staff Krishna & Saiya they are so warm & welcoming, nothing is too much for them, the food is always amazing, especially the chillie garlic mogo. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

I gave this place 5 stars when they had great food, live music and great atomosphere. Use to like the great food they did, but chef has changed and they can't deliver on one of the best starters they had,(Crispy broccoli). Showed the picture to serving person to see if they can make but was told they don't know how. I have stopped going there for food as it is not consistent on taste, chilli paneer to salty and not a green chilli in sight. I might try again if the chef gets better. Only he will tell...

Good food and live Indian music

I would recommend other restaurants in the area. The food at Dawat is average, not everything feels fresh and the service was slow and not that attentive. We made a booking but weren’t able to sit at a table for 30 mins and took us another 25 minutes to order our food. The Dawat signature vegetable handi was like frozen vegetables in a generic curry sauce. The food is OK, but I would recommend other restaurants in the area.

Food was to the point, chicken wings were hot and tender when they arrived, portions are large and definitely worth the £, compared to other local Indian restaurants, apart from Boulevard. Crispy bhindi was the best dish of the day, highly recommend it. The waiters and waitresses are brilliant always watching out if service is needed. Drinks are daily priced and the bar is well stocked, one suggestion is probably to get a cider on draft. Seating is good, they do have live music on Friday and Sunday (I personally prefer quite atmosphere so I avoid those days) Place isn’t a sports bar but they have screens at show live sports football and cricket normally Family atmosphere with good sitting arrangements! Keep up the good service

One of my favourite spots for indian food. Paneer is delicious. We enjoy the live music but it's very loud, a 5min break every 15min of singing to chat during dinner would be nice.

Starters are Amazing but was not a fan of the mains. I would suggest to stick to starters. In addition to this there was live music which was way too loud to enjoy your food. The restaurant too small to accommodate live music in my opinion. I would happily go there again on nights when there is no music.

We went to Dawat tonight for my husbands 40th Birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The restaurant was super clean and it had such a relaxed atmosphere. The food arrived quickly and it was AMAZING. We had the vegetarian starters and every dish was to a high standard. The portion size were generous and fairly priced. I will be definitely recommending this beautiful restaurant/bar to everyone. With so much competition in that area- Dawat definitely comes up triumph!

I wanted to love this place, the décor was great. Staff were very friendly always on hand. i have been twice now and tried an array of different dishes, the food is just very very average. I wont give less than 4 starts as i don't want to be harsh. But I would strongly recommend a new chef. UPDATED REVIEW 1 year later I went again, and it was a different experience. Just like the last time all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly...however the food was on point, lamb chops, chicken chops, dry fish, biriyani. All of it was devine.

This place is a ‘must visit’! The food here is sooooo good, one of the best in NW London. It was the first time I’d been but my family had been here before and absolutely love it. The food was super tasty, everything from the veg to the meat. The crispy garlic chilli Mogo and the mushrooms were super tasty. The service was great too. Highly recommend!
