Cube Bar Kitchen in Wyre

My friend and I went for Sunday lunch today. We being over 75 were concerned. We were served lovely food by a lovely young lady we shall be going again

Went for the football, was plenty of room during the game, soon as it finished, full fledged club nearly, was decent. Good music, good people, enjoyed my night. Would go again

Really nice place and the barwoman/waitress was really nice. Prices were good for drinks and food. The food was really nice and very filling. The place looks really nice and like a modern pub/restaurant. One negative was that one of my party's meals arrived much later than the rest and people were nearly finished by the time it arrived. Overall great stuff though and would be very happy to return.

My first visit. It was a lunchtime visit following a funeral. The buffet served was excellent . There is an outside seating area which is very private and suited the occasion. Well done.

We visited the Cube on Saturday afternoon for the first time. My wife and I live in Poulton and on this occasion was accompanied by our daughter and family. It was a sunny day and the beer garden area was fairly busy. The food, although a bit pricey, looked good and so we decided to dine there. The younger members of staff were all really pleasant, however one maturer lady who served us must have been having a bad day. She was far from pleasant and we really felt that we put her out asking for tartar and tomato sauces for our meals. We were overall pleased with the meal and atmosphere, but the lady needs a word in the ear on customer service.

Slightly disappointed at getting fries and not chips. Fish was tasty. Had to wait a fair bit for food. Mushy peas was bland. overall good experience. Prices are high for the quality of food.

5 of us went for lunch on Saturday not a lot of people in I ordered fish and chips which was not to bad but 2 of us ordered lasagne which was welded to the dish 1 had a beef baget which for the price was very poor and 1 had a southern fried chicken burger which was burnt also the bun was burnt and the bacon cremated they took it back and brought it back exactly the same so she got her money back . At the start we were told to order from the app which would work it said the venue was closed and all the staff just stood around doing nothing. This will be our last visit and wasn't worth the £63 Iit cost terrible experience

Burned chicken burger . Burned brioche bun. Chicken and bacon not edible. Sent it back. It came back 25 minutes later when everyone else had finished. It was even worse that the first one. The coleslaw was warm. Chicken dry and bacon was so hard. I asked for my money back which came. Without an apology. Was told to order on the app. Which wasn't working. No table service. And staff stood around. While we waited on ourselves. Save your money eat somewhere else .

Came for lunch yesterday with a friend, and it was our first time at the Cube. We noticed that we were given different menus. One menu appeared to be out of date as the items my friend asked for were no longer available. It's not a major inconvenience, so he ordered something else. Our food came as expected, and we had no issues. My friend has been fine, but I have been throwing up all night since. Overall, it was not a great experience, and we agreed it would probably be our first and last time. The staff, however, were very friendly and attentive.

Menu has changed and not so much choice but still expensive.

A private event.. Buffet style.. Really enjoyed the food.

Food was awful we had Budda bowl which just looked like left overs on a plate The staff however were very helpful and caring as my friend had an accident and they couldn't do enough to help

Not a safe place for women unfortunately. Two visits and both times a woman in our group was groped by someone on the dancefloor. Bouncers reluctant to help or to remove who did it.

Had our xmas team dinner here. Food was good, chicken liver pate, festive burger (not sure what the gravy was for) and the biscoff sundae. All tasted great but the service wasn't. We were a party of 12 and the food arrived at different times so didn't feel like we all ate together. Good selection of beers including craft beers. The cocktails were good with deals until 9pm

Found the food to be alright, wasn't so keen on the salt and pepper chips

Quick drink on a quiet Monday evening

Went in to check out the menu for Sunday lunch as I am gluten intolerant and don’t eat meat which normally makes it very difficult the young ladies greeting at the door where fantastic and extremely helpful we went back later and had Sunday lunch I had the vegan option and I must say it was delicious also had a singer on it was really enjoyable afternoon thank you caitlin our server and tiegan for your help

Just had a drink, but it is a cosy atmosphere with great staff.

Went this morning for a birthday breakfast. Food and service was excellent. And very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Good bar type food in generous amounts, offering value for money. The atmosphere is always upbeat and vibrant

Cocktail quality has diminished significantly.. drinks are really poor. I watched them being "mixed " (poured ) from pre mixed bottles . All I can say is that I would liken it to a cheap all inclusive holiday bar .. sugar and citrus mixes with various liquor mixes .. we sent drinks back once due to the sugary taste,which were replaced .. however the 2nd were just as bad. So we placed them on the bar and left.. avoid..

Bouncing staff proceeded to swear at my mother, this bouncer then had to be told by another bouncer to be more polite. If you are going to have door staff, do not employ angry undesirables to be the first point of contact. I would be happy to identify said bouncer.

Great food and reasonable prices.

We didn't eat but what food we did see looked good! The drinks (especially cocktails) were absolutely mega and not short of the alcohol. Would recommend 💙💙💙

Went Saturday afternoon, Food was good and at a reasonable price. Staff were attentive and prompt.

I was unnecessarily removed from this bar after trying to look after my friend who was clearly very drunk. When we tried to leave a girl cornered us and said to my friend so you even know these men. She said yes we proved we knew her as we have picture from years ago together. I thanked this girl for having me friends back. All of a sudden the bouncers kick off and go mad it Kicks off into a massive argument. Portly handled by the bar tenders and drinks that had been payed for removed for no reason. Good bar had been here many times but won’t be going again. Bouncing staff are very poor here.

I refuse to be untreated fairly, upon entering this establishment I was treated with cronyism and nepotism a barman who worked at the establishment who was served 10 minutes before me ( 15 minutes after I was) upon telling the bar man that how I was treated (unfairly and with unjustice) was simply unfair I was treated to a security escort off the premises and a response from the security personnel and the police which was far less than unsatisfactory and ruined my best friends 18 th birthday party - cube was irresponsible and frankly racist in their response treating me like a second class citizen I frankly find their response appalling and hope that the members involved will be sacked - I’m sick and tired off corruption and am sick and tired of members of a staff treating me as though I am worthless through cronyism - it’s disgusting and in a 21st century country I think we should be doing better!

Extremely expensive drinks £14.50 for 2 drinks

Buddha bowl could do with a touch more flavour or moisture or both but all in all, a good experience! Service at the table was lovely - at the bar, less so.

Table of 9 for lunch today, including 1 x vegetarian, 1 x coeliac, and 4 x children. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Total credit to the place! Excellent vibe, busy for brunch and lunch but really attentive service, and we didn't feel rushed at all. Huge menu, and everyone was really happy with their food, including burgers, salads and kids options.

Been in the cube this evening for a family birthday celebration. Wow!!! what an amazing meal!!!! every meal enjoyed by all the family the chicken katsu was outstanding highly recommended. Service was great we were well looked after from start to finish!!! everything is home cooked and fresh and really good value!!!!

Went in for breakfast around 10:30 this morning was greeted by a wonderful lady I think she was new as she was getting help on the tills when I was ordering. She was so polite and made our experience such a joy!

Very expensive for drinks but it is Poulton

Attended the saxophone bottomless disco and had an amazing time. All the staff were lovely, especially our waitress. The canapés were delicious and the drinks just kept on coming. The cocktails were fantastic! I will definitely be back again. Thank you Cube!

Having been many times before I visited at lunchtime today with a friend. We sat outside. After we’d ordered we waited so long that we were just about to go in and see what was going on when our meals appeared. The waitress was very friendly and the meals looked good. Then my friend discovered that her Chilli Cheese Loaded Nachos were cold and soggy. She returned it to the bar and asked for it to be heated up. The staff said they would do her a new one. Meanwhile, I’d started on my Buddha Bowl. I attempted to eat a chickpea (apparently roasted) but it was hard and unpleasant, so I decided to leave the rest of them. Digging down under a mound of lukewarm rice I found the spinach, which I normally love. Unfortunately there were so many stalks that again it was inedible. I love my food and rarely leave anything but this meal was really not very pleasant and I left a good half of it. Due to my friend’s meal having to be made twice we were given two complimentary coffees. The waitress was very apologetic and said the chickpeas might have been left in the oven too long. All in all we had a nice chat but the food itself was very disappointing.

Good night out with decent beers on tap and bottled. Adding to my previous review as I’ve eaten here now for the first time. I had the fish finger butty and chips. It was really nice and just what I needed to soak up the pint of beer I had from Farm Yard Brew Co. Will definitely eat there again

Good place for atmosphere, drinks. Nice family run eatery and bar and cocktail bar It's in the heart of poulton suited ideally local so there are lots of similplaces as soon as you leave making it a must go to if you was on a bar crawl or even just if you was going out for afew quite drinks with friends Friendly staff members and even all the family owners literally work on shift there which to be honest is always a not only nice touch but for me a show of force and necessary. So give ot try and decide for yourselves it that simple

Had the Sunday roast sorry it was shocking. The turkey was wafer thin . It wasn't overly hot .the whole meal was stale . Complained to the waitress no one seemed interested. Won't be going again

Fantastic night on the top floor celebrating Sue and Viv's wedding - shame there's no lift though, that's a lot of stairs to haul the sound equipment up! 🥵🥵

Only people in were us. It was Sunday but expected more people. Even so, staff were polite and I liked the place.

Avoid…………..Long wait for food. The food was not good when it came( Some over cooked and dry and some under cooked). The place was pretty empty when we arrive and waited over an hour for a salad, ciabatta sandwich with chips and a kids meal. No one asked us if everything was ok and how our food was. I actually didn’t want to pay the bill as it was so bad but the staff had no clue and the way another family was spoken to I was horrified how they were treated. All the young staff just hanging about and had no idea what they were doing. We paid the bill and left. We won’t be back.

Totally, work I was kitchen staff, working from whatever you Rota was, no breaks for kitchen staff, working from early hours, too 9pm, been shouted at, 2 stars is deserved, they don't care about there workers, avoiid it

Terrible place avoid!!! Wrong order came food was dry and obviously pinged… ordered desserts they didn’t have enough food for the order they took…. Glasses and plates left on tables even though there was right behind the bar with not a lot of people in… Joke of a place!

2 surprises 1 the hideous price of a glass of average quality wine. 2 the food was really quite nice and the service acceptable

You can go in the day and get food and drink and the service is always great 😁, unfortunately I went at night and may possibly have been hammered☠️. So the tunes appeared great the dancing was shocking 💥 but had great service and a great night, 👍 that I can remember 😇🤣🤣

Great place for me to have a cooked breakfast and a coffee whilst my car was in the MOT garage down the road. It was on the hottest day of the year on record but The Cube had their air con on, it was lovely and cool. The staff were pleasant and very helpful, and the food was just what I needed.

Not been for 6-7 months and I’m back tonight and it’s an amazing transformation, great service , great food , great staff and great atmosphere thank you cube ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited the cube with our young family today. We ordered the kids meals, the chicken was spicy and the kids couldn’t eat it. Our kids are not overly fussy, but this chicken did have a kick to it! My daughters meal arrived about 10 mins after everyone else’s. The food we got must have been sat a while as it was soggy and the nacho cheese was like scrambled egg. Also, we waited ages to be served. It’s such a shame as it’s a lovely place to visit. But the standard of the food really lets the Cube down. Hopefully this feedback will help things improve.

Visited on a night out not necessarily to eat. Usually busy with locals. Good selection of music. two floors with different styles of music. Quick staff at the bar so you dont wait long.

Best guinness I've had around town, creamy and no bad after taste. Staff a bit useless but worth it for good guinness

Nice tasty fast served food with spot on service. Great if you want a few quick nibbles while out drinking or also a big feast. We've tried the Mexicana heat king prawn salad the , chicken chipotle tacos and loaded nacho's and they're all very nice with decent portions! Plenty of beer & cocktail choices too and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. Our only criticism is my missus isn't overly keen on their white wine selection. The Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot could be better. I'm sure we'd visit more often if they improved the Sauvignon (hint hint).

Went on a Tuesday early evening , the ambience was similar to that of a library , bereft of atmosphere , dodgy music , staffs choice I believe , felt like an A.A.meeting ....awful

Going to be honest used to be amazing but seem to have gone down hill 😟

This place isn’t what it used to be. I’m sorry to say that The Cube has had its day. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and it used to be THE place to go with great food, cocktails, prices, curly fries and friendly staff. But after my latest experience I won’t be returning. Two issues; • The staff. All the menus state that you can order via table service or the app. After using the app a few times, we asked if we could order with a waitress, and her attitude was appalling - she told us they were too busy and that it was a big problem and to do so would be doing us a favour. We should have left then!! • The cocktails. We ordered piña coladas and Long Island iced teas. As you can see from my review history, I’m partial to a cocktail and am a mixologist in my own time. What we were served was very poor quality. They all tasted terrible and badly made. We asked to return them all and was told ‘no, they’re perfectly made to our recipe and everyone loves them’. Spending £40 on a round of cocktails on a Thursday afternoon you expect a decent standard. The manager’s attitude was just as bad as the waitresses. We had the cocktails replaced with rum and cokes as no refund was in sight. I have so many happy memories of The Cube from fantastic lunches to family celebrations and nights out and often look forward to returning, but this was terrible. And, to top it off, NO CURLY FRIES on the menu anymore which were my fav. I hope the management can sort things out because they are better than this.

Partner had the same meal 2 nights in a row and they were completely different, but still very good.

Great place with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The peanut filled pretzels are delicious and the chicken burger hit the spot !
