Crudo in Worthing

My boyfriend had been in hospital for 3 weeks, then in recuperation at home for just over 3 weeks. Our trip to Worthing was the first time he had been ‘out’ for almost 7 weeks. We wanted a nice chilled lunch with good quality food and a nice vibe. Saltio’s was perfect! The servers were warm and welcoming, the food was tasty and as Argentine tango dancers, we were so happy to enjoy a lovely crisp Argentinian wine. Thank you to Saltio staff for making a special day out perfect!

Loved this spot. Found this spot on a bank holiday weekend trip to Worthing.

Phenomenal service and incredible food! You will leave feeling twice as good as when you entered. Fabio was super friendly and funny made you feel welcome and comfortable. The slow roasted goat was unreal.

10/10 food is always delicious, great service from Willow and team, goat burrito is a winner and the food never takes long to come out !!! perfect restaurant for friends and couples cannot recommend more !!!! xx

Decent spot with a mix of hits and misses Tried Saltio Mexican recently and had a mixed experience. Some of the dishes were genuinely good—flavorful and well-prepared—but others felt a bit underwhelming or just average. The menu has potential, and the atmosphere was nice enough, but overall it didn’t quite stand out. Worth a try if you’re nearby, but maybe not something I’d go out of my way for.

Excellent cocktail menu - especially loved the ones with chilli Yummy Mexican tacos but then I love a taco Recommend lots of serviettes!

The food was simple, nice and enjoyable. Portions don't look big but the food is very filling (I had the goat burrito). The menu is fairly limited but that didn't stop any of us from choosing a meal. The staff were very lovely, friendly and always smiling, despite it being a busy Friday evening.

I honestly couldn't fault this place in the slightest !!! The price was amazing for the quality of food and portion size you got. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, and the staff overall greeted and served us with a smile and a laugh. Really good atmosphere too , I can see myself becoming a definite regular at Saltio.

Amazing food, staff helped advise how much and what mix to have from the menu. Would deffo recommend. 👌

One of my favourite restaurants in Worthing. Food and drinks always great, and reasonably priced.

I'm not sure what I can add that other people haven't, but this is a fantastic restaurant and you should stop reading this review and go and try and book a table! We had tacos, burritos, quesadillas and the kids meal and all were perfectly seasoned, as well as being generous portions. The dulche de leche cheesecake was the best cheesecake I've had in years. Go!

We walked in off the street on Friday evening on the off chance there was space for us to sit and eat and drink. The front of house guy was excellent! Advised us of space in half an hour , then as we said we would return then, he invited us to sit down, relax and have a drink. Before our drinks had arrived we were being seated from a cancellation. I cannot express how nice the atmosphere, staff, food and cocktails are here! You must try!

Sent food out for home delivery with no filling, then refused to reply or refund. When dining alone they also seated me on a bar stool where the Uber orders are picked up when several proper tables were available for the duration of my visit. It's a shame when the food is lovely, but won't be returning or ordering again.

Had lunch here with family on a Monday. We had the lunch time deal which included drinks and a side of sweet potato fries and it was delicious. Will definitely return.

This place transports you thousands of miles away with fantastic food, drink and service. The environment was so relaxed, I could've happily stayed there all day. A gem of the local area and I look forward to visiting again!

The reviews looked great so we thought we had to give this a try. Open until 11pm in the week was a bonus so we went off for a drink and returned at 9.10pm to be told food had finished. We get that Monday is a quiet night but just adjust your opening times accordingly and don’t publish 11pm. When we walked past at 10.45pm everything was very dark.

We found this lovely looking restaurant on a Monday evening and were quite excited to try it. Having found online it was open until 11pm we decided to go for a drink first and returned at 9.10pm to be told it was no longer servicing food. Having got food elsewhere we walked past at again at 10.45pm and all way totally dark. Please just adjust your opening times to be truthful as this was so disappointing.

This is our favourite restaurant! I can’t speak highly enough, the service, food, drinks and atmosphere is always perfection!

What a place for true Mexican tastes. Good prices, great staff, tasty food and the tacos taste of authentic Mexico. Highly recommended. Everything was so delicious and you can get Mexican beers and a variety of Tequilas. Wonderful experience.

Definitely the best and most authentic Mexican around. Loved the goat tacos and soft shell crab. Spicy Margs were👌 Will be back to visit before long!

Food was excellent, had the Goat Burrito 🌯 and the Street Corn which was recommended by the waiter as a side and was absolutely delicious. Good value for money as well.

I really love this place. Cocktails are great, food is always delicious and there’s just something charming about it. Always get the Goat Birria tacos as it’s one of my favourite dishes, but all the tacos are excellent. Plantain is a must have too. Highly recommend and it’s a regular spot for me!

We ate here on Valentines night. Food was lovely and service started off really well. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our table was out the back right next to the kitchen which is also right next to some doors that lead outside, a lot of staff were going in and out and leaving the door open and it was so cold! I had to get up to shut the door twice.

The food is delicious and the cocktails/mocktails are so good! The staff are always so friendly and make us laugh every time. Thank you, we love coming here.

Had the most amazing dinner here last night! The honey ginger margarita was amazing! i never thought I was a margarita person but the ones here were amazing, they made me realise I’ve probably just never had a good one before! We had the tortilla chips and the chipotle salsa, it was honestly the nicest salsa I’ve ever had! For dinner we shared a variety of things- the crab tostadas, chicken tacos, watermelon salad and sweet potato fries. The flavours were amazing! The mango and avocado with the crab was so good, and the watermelon salad was so delicious! Everything went together so well and tasted so fresh! The staff were so lovely, we will definitely be going back ASAP!

Seating smelled of dog, tacos fell apart as filling far too messy, nachos (if that is what they were?) were chewy. Sorry, had high hopes but was disappointed and will not return

Had a lovely lunch here on New Year’s Eve. Was a lovely ambience and the service was very friendly. We had a mixture of mains, sharers, and sides and it was all delicious. I definitely recommend the sweetcorn with feta it was incredible! We also had mocktails which were so yummy. A bit pricey but I think worth it. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic food! Really tasty authentic Mexican food packed with flavour. Service was also top notch, both staff members in on the evening of 8/12 were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place if you’re after authentic Mexican food with great service.

Food is always fantastic. The authentic flavours are delish. Staff are friendly and very professional. We love coming to get a few different dusted and sharing to get a taste of all the gorgeous side and mains. Although we do wish there was an option for 3 tacos, but that is us just being greedy 😂

I had the mushroom birria and was so cheesy with lots of umami flavours and really nice crispy sweet potato fries on the side. Always absolutely delicious, really lovely tacos and do a brilliant lunch deal!

Went here for my partner & I’s anniversary, loving an attentive staff. Only downside was a moody atmosphere raided off one of the waitresses, the other was an absolute star although I said “you too” after her remarking “have a good rest of your anniversary”, which was embarrassing on my behalf. Although turning up early they accommodated us very well, expensive meals & food with the added service wasn’t quite worth while. But will be back as the food was decent -not excellent.

Wonderful soft tacos! They had masses of flavour, which was well balanced and extremely tasty. I took advantage of the Monday deal, where you get two tacos, sweet potato fries and choice of drink (including alcoholic choices). I also added the tortilla chips and a habanaro salsa. Excellent value and I walked out very full! There was a Monday offer on margaritas too; but I was driving so had a zero alcohol beer I stead.

Great restaurant, right on the seafront. Definitely worth a visit.

Been there several times and have to compare to some places in Brighton and London I've been and have to admit Crudo is best Mexican one, best burritos and amazing cocktails and moctails, can't wait to dine there again

We came in last night for our two year anniversary and we ended up booking really short notice so we were a little worried about availability, but oh my god the service and attention to detail were incredible. We ended up being able to sit tucked away in an intimate corner even though we booked late and our server Lucy, just wow! She was honestly so incredible and attentive (she even set up our table with a candle for the occasion). Some of the best service I have had. Shout out to crudo and the team, one of the best spots to eat in Worthing.

Seriously good authentic mexican food! We had burritos, tacos and tortilla chips between us, everyone ate everything!! The watermelon with honey is delicious! Would highly recommend and visit regularly if we were nearby!

Would not recommend this place if you don’t like great food and friendly atmosphere I tried this place as most places were shut best thing I done All the staff were great that good I ate there 2times during my stay in worthing Food is amazing and out waitress was fully knowledgeable about what dishes I would like didn’t catch her name On my second visit we were served by the first waitress Then a girl called maisy started making cocktails for my work mate it was her first time I think and all I can say on his behalf is that they were great so five stars as he’s very fussy Thanks to all the staff and your food is great and fantastic location Next time I’m in area I will definitely be returning

Decent. Nice atmosphere. not sure you're ever going to be blown away by Mexican food really, but this is a solid offering. Staff are effective, far from overly polite. It's not cheap? Where is. Not sure about the foil covering the burrito-maybe just a nuisance. Being very critical now. Overall a decent experience.

Great! As always - a must visit in worthing. Staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you. I asked for some tweaks to my quesadilla and they were more than happy to accommodate. If you don’t ask, you don’t get as they say! Super delicious dishes for all of the party and as always, we will be back!

BOOM! Hands down the best Mexican inspired food I have had in the uk! This restaurant is a reason to visit Worthing, maybe the only reason. The food and drink is reasonably priced and the food is excellent in both presentation and taste. I can't fault a thing. Will definitely come back if anywhere near the area.

Delicious food. We had a coeliac and a non garlic eater in the party and they were really great about it, helped us find stuff on the menu we could have and adapted things for us which we wanted. The range of the menu was great, and the ginger and honey Margherita was perfect. Staff were friendly and the service was rapid and attentive. Would definitely come again! Special mention for the plantain tacos and jackfruit quesadillas.

Paul and the gang were fantastic. We visited this weekend for my friends 30th. Upon arrival they offered to take the cake and light candles after our meal. Service was excellent, drinks were served quickly and margaritas were delicious. Food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. Good portions, flavour and nice and hot. Service and food was overall amazing. Good price. Well worth a visit. Birthday girl was very happy with her visit. Thank you Crudo

Absolutely incredible dinner out with friends. Food was exquisite- one of the best meals I’ve had in Worthing! Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Scarlett was such a star and so helpful, she made our experience super easy. Can’t wait to come back!
