Good variety of beers, there is something for everyone. Love the little nooks and crannies in this pub, very cosy and traditional but has a bit of quirk.

I love this place! My favourite pub in Nottingham - the most amazing variety of drinks (the mango cider is a personal fave!) And its dog friendly too! Definitely recommend going with your pals!

All Ales are excellent and well kept ! Cheese board is well worth a try , Don't know how they make any money on it there's that much cheese !

Always busy and especially packed in the summer due to the large beer garden. They have to most real ale selection is Beeston to the best of my knowledge. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. They do different things all the time like quizzes and stuff and have some decent prizes. There's loads of little rooms away from the main bar area and the whole place has a traditional real to it. Place I a must visit if your in the area.

Only food served is cheese boards and pork pies. Beer selection is excellent though.

Love sitting in the back bar (snug) with a beer and newspaper when visiting Southwold. The food in the main service area is good too.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Crown Inn in Beeston, and I must say, it was quite the hidden gem. As a retired shrimp potting factory worker, I've seen my fair share of places, but this one left a lasting impression. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The selection of ales on offer was impressive, and the locals welcomed me with open arms. It felt like I had found a home away from home. What bothered me was the thought that more people don't know about this place. It's a real shame because The Crown Inn deserves all the recognition it can get. I couldn't help but wonder if other local businesses are somehow suppressing its reputation through unscrupulous means, which would be a disservice to such a welcoming establishment. In conclusion, my visit to The Crown Inn was a delightful experience, but it left me with a nagging suspicion that this hidden treasure should be shared with a wider audience. If you're in Beeston, do yourself a favor and discover this local gem for yourself.

Visited Saturday 18th March 2023 late afternoon. Had to try here as their sister pub The Five Lamps in Derby is one of our favourites, this is no exception, Brown Ales Pub Co have done an outstanding job. Inside it's a traditional, warm and cosy pub, it also has a really nice outside are with lots of seating, most of which is undercover. Beer choice is excellent with some traditional style cask alongside modern cask and a great craft beer on keg selection. Staff were friendly and talkative, the pub had a really good atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip to Beeston, we'll be back.

Great pub, nice snug rooms inside (darts available), big outside seating area with covered sections and heating. They take care of their beers, have a decent selection of bar snacks and the staff are friendly, highly recommended to anyone in the area.

I have been going to The Crown for 47 years, since I was 14 and it was a bit illegal but that didn't stop police playing darts with me. It has always been a "proper pub" focused on quality drink of all types, and it has resisted the temptation to become a restaurant as so many pubs have done. It is a great venue for outdoor events in the summer, too

We have been coming to this pub for ages, my in-laws even more. Usually was a good place to spend time. But this last time, the Titanic beer taste weird like sort of mechanic oil. My husband just went to make a comment in the bar only to let them know in case something was wrong. Not expecting anything in return. But the staff was very defensive. We explained that we had the cob so we don't really taste at first very well. So for that reason they even laugh because the pint wasn't full when we made the comment. Very very bad customer service. All the staff was defensive and aggressive even the ones who doesn't even hear the hall story. Very disappointing

This pub has been a regular of mine since sitting in the beer garden 40 years ago as a kid with my family... Today however, the customer service is somewhat lacking and by lacking, I mean nonexistent... Today I approached the bar with the peculiar tasting Titanic to order a new round but mentioned the Titanic tasted funny and actually returned the half full glass to the bar to leave it there, the "manager" and bar staff immediately assumed I was trying to score a free drink whereas I was pro actively trying to help them check if there was a problem as we've been drinking Titanic for years. I had zero intention of asking for any form of compensation whatsoever but was sneered at by one barman who was simply passing by as the glass was now only half full before even being allowed to finish speaking but hadn't even heard my original comments... I felt attacked by three members of staff including the manager and have never in 30 years been made to feel this way in this pub... I was told to chill almost immediately when I simply asked nicely not to be laughed at, I was told that I was aggressive and at the same time, defensive, and then the manager admitted he never drinks Titanic but then when he finally agreed to try it, immediately said it tastes absolutely fine... This was a customer service disaster of Titanic proportions.

A rare beast, a real pub. Simply classic and much as I remember it 35 years ago. Loved going back.

Love this pub. Very traditional with a great selection of real ale and ciders. They now have a coffee machine that serves latte coffee too. My mother-in-law loves the hot chocolate served with squirty cream and cinnamon biscuit sticks. Bar snacks are available with a great selection of pork, vegan and vegetarian (vork) pies, cobs and cheese boards. In the summer the outside bar is great.

Spent New Years Eve here and the staff and atmosphere were lovely. I always come back for the drinks!

Favourite pub in Beeston. Staff are always extremely friendly, plenty of seating inside and out with the addition of heaters for sitting outside, and good selection of alcohol. They are also very generous with the amount of cheese on the cheeseboard!

A quaint pub in the middle of a busy suburb. Good selection of craft beer and ale as well as cider and wine. There is now a large covered outdoors are allowing for more seating space regardless of the weather, including patio heaters that can be switched on by request.

The really great traditional pub with a fine selection of ales and friendly helpful staff. They have many interesting rooms and a really big outdoor seating area. It's a little hidden, but still easily walked from the town centre if you know where to go. I'll definitely go again!

Lovely little drinking pub. Craft cider, ales, stouts and lagers. Staff are always amazing. It's the place to go to talk to locals and relax. The laid back atmosphere only adds to the character. Among my top ten go to pubs. The only sort of downside (of which actually is totally fine without) is food. Beer snack only. Yet this arguably better. Less stress for the staff and this place is a place for talk and enjoyable drinks.

Great pub in the heart of Beeston. Good list of beers and ciders. Outside bar open in the summer at the weekends. Listed building with 4 indoor rooms and a large mostly covered outdoor area. Highly recommend.

Friendly casual atmosphere on Bank Holiday. Great outdoor food

Bar staff rude. Two bar managers on and one of the did not say please or thank you. When questioned about his manners to the other manager, the other manager supported the other manager saying he did, dispute other people supporting me and he was not even there. Ridiculous attitude and poor customer service. The staff refused to give me the landlords name or number. Heating was off and everyone sat there in coats. Nothing like it used to be. While I love good beer, manners and bad attitude have put me off this place. Update. Messaged the landlord who said they would look at the CCTV (still no sorry), and that was 3 weeks ago….no reply.

A brilliant historic pub with lots of different rooms. A great choice of beer in a warm friendly environment. Only simple food such as pork pies and sausage rolls and cobs (home made of course ,delicious!)on offer so it's focus is being a quality drinking pub which it excels in. Worth dropping in. M

Really nice place actually, I don't often go to Beeston but if I did this would be a strong contender for my local. We popped in after the cinema and it was a pleasant place, I considered dropping a star because we had to endure a table full of students next to us seeing who could play the loudest game possible on their phones; that's not really something I can blame on the venue but it did stop us staying longer. Seriously kids...earphones are a thing.
