Crosswoods in Merthyr Tydfil

I visited this amazing gem of a place on Saturday and bought several different cakes. I noticed that they had bread pudding for sale, I've bought and tried many pieces of bread pudding trying to find one that tastes like my Mother used to make but to no avail...... Until I bought a chunky slab from here... Wow!!!! It took me right back to my mother's kitchen in the 70s, the taste, the look, the big chunk of delicious home made gorgeousness. Manchester Tart as well, utterly yummy. I will definitely be visiting here again. Thank you sooo much for not only the stunning food but also for the memories evoked. Regards, Alun ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏

I have started buying quite a lot of food from this shop. The food is all home cooked. The staff are also very nice, and helpful.

I didn't visit but had deliveries throughout lockdown while shielding . What can I say about them ? They delivered a 5 star service when I couldn't get a supermarket slot to have my usual deliveries at all . Thank you for your wonderful service 5*

From a roast dinner in a giant yorkshire pudding to salad to filled rolls & yummy cakes. Quick tasty food with average prices e.g. just over £4 for that roast meal. Nice & clean in there.
