I'm sorry to give such a mark👎👎👎👎 0, I am a Hgv driver and for 2 years I used to come and eat breakfast but now I can't do it anymore because I have to stay in their Hotel, I think it's a big stupidity, The managers who made such a rule tell you honestly 1+1=0 that's how you think, The man comes and pays £££ in order to eat yes don't be ignored, shame 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎×100

Since this has gone under the changes, the atmosphere is dead silent. The service is awful 1 person bless her running the front (she was extremely apologetic). Shame that premier inn are ruining brewers fayre restaurants!

Not much in choice for a all you can eat breakfast once it's gone it's gone.

Travelled 5 hours and was completely worn out. We had reserved the table 3 days before then to be told when we arrive we can’t eat there even after they called me to double confirm our booking and let us know the soft play area wouldn’t be available for the kids. The women was rude and didn’t seem to want to deal with a party of 3 adults and two children.

Food was bland Was really disappointed 😞. But service and staff was 100%

Told on arrival at 7pm that they were only accepting bookings, so we left and booked a table on line for 8:15pm which was available on their website. Returned to reception who shouted “I TOLD YOU BOTH THERE’S NO SPACE!!” Turns out they weren’t accepting ANY bookings due to staff issues, which wasn’t communicated at all. It was an embarrassing experience and a total waste of time that could have been handled far better by stafff. Would NEVER return here.

In Dunfermline for a week, dined there four days in a row . The welcome we got couldn’t have been more warm and friendly, and the service and courteous attitude especially from the two young ladies behind the bar was outstanding. Would recommend to any visitor.

Food was good and service fast and efficient however it does look tired and dated inside. Friendly staff and an excellent choice of dishes. Comfort food without a doubt.

Went in on a whim, whilst visiting the Premier Inn. The staff were swift and polite. We had an issue, which was quickly resolved by Fiona. We can recommend the food and the staff, especially the chef as he must have been rushed off his feet but still resolved our issue quickly

Improve the interior and food and lovely place.

Staff unorganised was welcomed at start to then get told to find a table ourselves and she would be right with us. Asked for highchair which nobody brought us. Had to go to bar to order our own food and drink as no1 came to see us despite same staff at start walked past 3 times and looked at us. Very poor from staff

I pay 10.99 for a breakfast and they have no mushrooms. Dunfermline has two asdas you think someone nipped out and bought a couple of punnets eh!

Lovely place. Especially like going at breakfast for the buffet everything is really good quality and actually quite cheap prices. Very homely and kid friendly!

Just had lunch here not very good. Husband got mash with his choice of food and it was cold. Not a lot of food on the plate...

Meal was terrible and the wait was horrific staff standing about not coming over to ask how the meal was or if wee wanted anything or needed anything I'll no be back with my girlfriend need this sorted please and the staff was no very welcoming no be back.

For Mothers Day, a day you would assume will be extra busy, you would think management would make sure there were enough staff on. A total of 65 minutes for the Mains to arrive after waiting 15 minutes waiting in a que first to even order the food. Then another 20 minutes from having to ASK someone to clear our table until we got our deserts which were cold despite being advertised as served "warm". Chips were obviously fried in cold oil.... Katsu Chicken from the mains menu came in a toddler sized plate, half the size of the rest of the mains. For the same price its a bit of a let down. The very little staff that could be seen were trying to deal with far too many tables in too many sections and not able to focus on anything. They looked stressed, fed up and burnt out. I dont blame them for having a bit of an attitude when they were recieveing so many complaints!! The business/management obviously took too many bookings at one time and didnt think about how much staff it takes to serve that many people. Folks kids were running riot all over the place, tripping up staff and customers, with no adult supervision despite there being a designated play area!! One of the poor lassies was spending half her time taking wayward kids back to their parents and dont think that was her job! The structure of how staffing and shift management is, is needing thoroughly looked at and changed. I understand its probably the Upper managements policy to handle staff wages and time management and the way the staff are told not to deviate from the policies that are in place. Having so many bookings actually booked in...walk.ins should have been turned away or told to come back when it was quieter. (I witnessed this happening twice) being greedy and trying to cram as many customers in is all well when you have enough competant staff to deal with. But when youre already overwhelmed, maybe think of the staff that have to deal with these complaints and feedback.

Had great meet at the door ,also good service for our meal,and meal was 1st class 😋

Waited 40 minutes for luke warm food and a pie that was stuck in the microwave was super soggy kids had a great time in the play area it's about the only good thing to offer

Kids garlic bread was solid. Prawn cocktail that comes with bread, didn't. The burgers were overcooked The place needed a good clean. The toilet facilities were atrocious. The best part of it was the exit.

Perfect place for family and kids

Can be a bit hit or miss with the food, especially the buffet breakfast . Tends to be left out too long or wiped out too early. When the food is hot and fresh, it is really good and great value for money when they have kids eating for free. Not the quickest at clearing tables but minimal staff at breakfast so to be expected. Lots of kids throughout , especially for the play area during the day so can be quite noisy and unavoidable as the play area is at the opposite end of the building to the main doors.

on Sunday we came here to have a nice time with my friends and a small child, we were told there was no room even though the place was empty and several tables were occupied

Very busy restaurant on a Thursday night. It was full of families and small children, which at times were running mad( no fault of the restaurant) The food is standard Brewers Fayre menu.. came promptly, and was cooked nicely ( and still warm!). There is plenty of parking around the hotel and restaurant

Had a lovely meal and was so well attended by Grace. Would be happy to come back again. Really good value.

Was a night out for my 9 yo granddaughter birthday, despite orders mixed up and my wife not getting her meal until we all had eaten ours, it was a great evening, the very embarrassed supervisor addressed the issues and resolved the problems Food was good, nice place, with a nice, quiet atmosphere

If 'meh' was a restaurant, this would be it. They didn't have two items on the menu available so kind of narrowed options due to fussy eaters. No option to buy through an app or website so you have to stand in a queue at the bar. It has a kids play area which is great for the bairns but if you are dining without kids it can be quite noisy so have this in mind when choosing here. The food is standard, nothing particularly great and nothing that stands out from any other restaurant.

Christmas dinner booked for a change to cooking. Booked the crooked Glen only because it was 5 minutes walking from home and we could all have a festive drink. Seated and server came and took our drink order, 4 drinks and a bottle of wine. 35 minutes later after no one came with our drinks I had to get up and go and find out the cause of delay. Apparently system hadn’t pushed it through to bar or something like that. Any good server would know to return to their table and check on them also for starters. Starters came, pate was not bad, came with 1 slice of normal toast half cooked on 1 side ( could have been better with oatcakes). Mains course which is self service was ok, Turkey nicely cooked but gammon was a gammon steak I had expected a nice roast ham. Everything else was meh, desert was meh. More than anything was the fact that we couldn’t have a conversation in peace due to the drunken doped out loud mouthed couple behind us and I mean they literally an inch behind us. Trying to rope us in to conversation which we didn’t want to engage but they wouldn’t leave people alone, apparently they complained to staff about their meal or whatever it was and they received a discount due to their complaining. Should have been the decent quiet people that received the discount due to their behaviour which affected all surrounding tables. They were apparently regular customers or she was and apparently complains all the time and gets discount🤷‍♀️. What the heck, given the fact that she regularly visits and complains and is always drunk, why did they allow her to make a booking for Christmas Day when other people want to have a nice day?!? Actually beggars belief. Nothing more to add except won’t return. Staff were friendly and we left a good tip as it was Christmas Day and they were giving their day up to serve, but it could have been better after all main course is a buffet and they don’t need to do anything. One final point is plates 🤔. Why such small plates for a buffet to be served on, you have to option but to pile things on top of each other. Bigger decent food plates is better.

Food was disgusting. Vegetables were mush, presentation was apawling, no Xmas crackers, toilets filthy. We have met our family here pre Xmas for years but sadly after today experience we will not be retuning.

We were welcomed at the entrance and quickly taken to our table. Our server, Grace B, was very attentive and took our drinks order first. Grace returned to explain the Festive Menu options and to take our order. The main festive item is "turkey & all the trimmings" (several other options available). There were several slices of turkey breast meat, stuffing balls, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes & parsnips, Brussels sprouts, carrots, peas & a little jug of gravy. £14.99 for 2 courses or add a 3rd course for only another £2.00. Great value! The food was lovely and definitely not skimped on the portions. All items were hot and served in a reasonable time after ordering. The desserts were substantial - we had profiteroles and the ice cream sundaes. Grace was also dressed in a Christmas outfit, which added to the festive occasion for us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal & desserts and left a tip for the staff. This was the only minor inconvenience - that the tip couldn't be added to the bill, and had to be paid separately in cash. Fortunately, this wasn't an issue on this occasion. We'll definitely be back.

Had a wonderful lunch to day our server Grace was very professional and just the right balance of attentive.

Service is very good as well as atmosphere. Burgers were reheated and not freshly cooked, food was bland.

We always arrive at noon .look forward to be served by grace . She gives everyone fast service and never leaves us waiting between meals

Festive menu. Burger was dry, heavily overdone. Nice staff but we weren't asked how everything was after the meal so we weren't given an opportunity for feedback. I had a raw potato chip too... starters were disappointing, the one with beef and horseradish sauce barely had any horseradish sauce on it and the Yorkie was too soggy.

Excellent. We had Katsui Chicken Curry with a side of onion rings & Apple Betty & custard, both were brilliant, best Katsui chicken I've tasted. Thumbs up to our waitress Grace, very pleasant, friendly & service was superb.

Had the Big Stack burger which was just ok but was disappointed with the size as it looked like it was going to be so much more in the picture as it was glamourised as the best burger on the menu. One of my kids had the vegetarian carvery and it was rotten. Gravy really thin and runny, roast tatties looked like they had freezer burn. Parsnips looked overcooked. Staff were great so a shame to give bad marks. Overall, disappointed though

The service was shocking. Rude, dismissive staff who just couldn't be bothered! I've been before and thought exactly the same but tried again because I'm a glutton for punishment! Long waits at the bar for drinks only, despite it not even being half full. Will not be back

Brewers Fayre meals are good 😊 the price of meals are good value . I would recommend 🙂

We go regularly to this restaurant but have recently noticed it is getting a bit tired looking. The chairs are stained with spilled food.

Had to send chicken bk twice as so burnt.

It's a pub attached to a premiere Inn, so what can I say. The food is edible and the beer cold and drinkable, apart from that there is not much to add. One last thing, the ultimate burger is not very ultimate. This is more a reflection of the unified Brewers Fair menu rather than this one establishment. Ok, maybe two last things ... If you order the macaroni bites, don't expect them to be on the plate after they have been roughly thrown across the table at you.

Honestly the food here is so bad, I could eat better at the McDonald's down the road. But I'm stuck with a stupid Premiere Inn meal deal

Ate at this restaurant while working in the area. The standard Brewers Fayre menu was in operation and for a change for me eating at places attached to premier inns there didn't seem to be any items that weren't in stock. The restaurant was nice and clean with friendly staff. Food service was super fast and my starters and main arrived a perfect amount of time apart. I had the mini mac and cheese bites to start with a smothered platter for mains. Everything was cooked perfectly and nice and hot when served. A nice place to eat/drink if you're staying at the hotel next door.

The food is sub standard at best. The staff weren't overly welcoming. Definitely not worth it and won't be back.

Popped in for a pint while I waited for my hotel room to be ready, nice place.

The food was lovely and arrived quickly even though they were busy. The service was great.

Waitress came to my table ten minutes after being seated. Sunday carvery served on a stone cold plate. I can never understand the logic for doing so. So instantly the carvery meats become cold. I opted for a large carvery. This included a bacon wrapped sausage. It was hardly warm. Carrots uncooked and cold. Roast potatoes seriously cremated. Boiled potatoes warm. Cauliflower cheese was hot but was more like potatoes and cheese. Root veg mash was hot. Stuffing cold and tough. Yorkshire pudding was impossible to cut. I visited six tables to find a salt container. Cutlery fine after wiping. Gents toilets -one of the two in use - floor wet. Overflowing used towels. Towel dispenser broken so large paper roll taking up much of one of two basins. Water not stopping running from tap. Could not pay waitress by card. Told to go to bar. I did. Queue of six in front of me but one server. Four staff standing speaking at the kitchen door. I reused the toilet instead of waiting. Have never been tempted to leave a restaurant without paying. Had my server not begged a barmaid to serve me I would have been rather tempted. At 2pm there were no empty vegetable dishes - no parsnips, Mac and cheese, cauliflower, golden roast potatoes (only burnt to a cinder).

The quality of the food is going down hill. Smaller portions, staple food not available such as fish, chicken etc.. the glasses from the bar totally stink of stagnant water. Please clean the dish washer. I complained and it was as if I was being over dramatic. I complained about this several months ago too so this is an in going problem. Somebody is going to get sick! The place looks dirty and lots of staff hanging around chatting. toilets not cleaned. Food doesn't come out at the same time. When I was served it was as if I was an inconvenience This place used to be amazing. Soft play was buzzing and clean. What's happened?

We had our daughters 5th birthday party here and manager Marley in the soft play area went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly. Definitely a credit to the place!

Food was good, mixed grill was delicious and very filling. I felt the woman at the bar was left to cope with too much and may have been stressed (only my opinion). However, if you r a manager there, try doing it yourself? It was quiet but a Wednesday afternoon so...

Stopped off for lunch during a work trip. Service was fast and efficient. The staff were very friendly and polite. Food wise, it was very average, but this is expected in a Brewers Fayre. The decor seemed a bit dated, and the furniture was showing its age, but it wasn't an issue. It was comfortable and clean enough. My experience wouldn't put me off going again.

We used to love coming here but the past few times service has been dire, portion sizes have got smaller, food more expensive and the place is a mess with food on the floor, tables not cleared for ages. The last time we went we had hoped they would redeem themselves after the time before which consisted of my having to sit and watch everyone else at the table eating their food and mine never came out after asking them 3 times what was happening (I had to get a chinese on the way home) they refunded me for the food that never came but there was no sort of compensation offered for the fact they had ruined a family meal.... The redemption never came, they seated us right next to the closed soft play (with a 2 year old) when the rest of the place was practically empty. First the teenagers food was late to come out and the main arrived before the starter, then the 2 year olds desert never came for 45 minutes and she had to sit and watch her big brother eat his while being told she couldn't go in the soft play because it was closed. Ruined family night. Again. I'm just glad the in-laws weren't with us this time so we weren't embarrassed for recommending the place, we won't be back.

It was the right venue to be polite, informal, music not too loud.

Ate here four nights during recent work related stay at Premier Inn next door. Quite an extensive menu serving a good mixture of dishes. The food was excellent each night I have to say. The haddock and chips was that good I had it twice. The other nights I had a cheese burger and chicken burger and both were really tasty. Also included in the meal deal you can purchase at premier inn was a full breakfast which again has a very good choice between typical continental breakfast and cooked breakfast. Restaurant itself was clean and tidy on the occasions I was there and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again in future.

We popped in here for a few drinks while staying at the Premier Inn across the way. We didn't have food (kids had ice cream though) and the staff were very helpful with our allergy requests, which meant our children could safely eat the ice cream. Nice staff but not somewhere I would look to go to for dinner.

The food has gone down hill a lot since i was last in there. I certainly won't be going back. The food was a very small portion and had next to no chicken in the chicken tikka masala. The sauce was more like a soup with a lot of onions in it. I would not recommend this place now as there are other restaurants in the area around the same price with good food.

Lost a whole family of customers today. Reason... the mens toilets where filthy 2 weeks ago i didnt say anything... today i go in to find mens cubicle the same... obviously not been cleaned in 2 weeks... i did tell a manager aboyt the spew up the side of toilet cubical... 30 mins later still the same.... who wants to use a pub to eat when you cant use a clean toilet? Should of been cleaned right away. Currently sitting in harvester enjoying a clean enviroment... 😁

Very good service and excellent staff

The food in the morning was really good. A wonderful selection of cooked, continental and cereal/yoghurts/fresh fruit. My two children had ice cream in the evening and one of them had a food allergy - the lady who served me was really clued up with the allergy and was so helpful in providing the allergen checklist and speaking to the kitchen. The staff were friendly and on the ball with clearing up and cleaning. Would visit here again in future!

Came here for my daughter's Birthday Breakfast. The all you can eat breakfast buffet is well worth the money, we are a family of 6 so eating out can be expensive. Kids are free and Adults £9.99 amazing value and choice

Decided to go for food last night and we should have walked back out as soon as we arrived. Place was dirty, floor had food on it, cutlery on table was dirty and tables were sticky. Ordered scampi and chips with mushy peas. Peas were overcooked in a microwave, chips and scampi had been reheated in microwave and there was no lemon like usual on the plate. Wasted more food than we ate. Then to top it off was awake during the night bringing the food back up! If you value your taste buds and your stomach contents avoid at all costs

I was in last night with my family, including my 2 autistic grandchildren at 6.55pm they headed into play area , while we ordered food, at 7.00pm they were put out as area was closing! This caused double meltdown for my grandchildren why did my kids get in when it was closing in 5 minutes? And why close it, when the place was still full of kids wanting to play? I found this abominable and severely out of order and ruined our whole visit! Doubt we will be back.

We were there last Saturday in the evening and my hubby needed a meal with low salt the lady we dealt with was excellent . All our meals were good and was served very quick . We will be back again

Very good place to catch some quality food if staying at Premier Inn next door. Last orders for evening meals is 8.30pm. Breakfast fir Premier Inn guests is served here Buffet style.

Food was nice ,paid for unlimited coffee, unfortunately they decided to clean the machine after I had one coffee ,so beware unlimited doesn't always mean unlimited

Nice friendly service decent food

Breakfast booked for 6 people. No table reserved on arrival. Told to just find one. Hot food kept running out. Bacon undercooked and swimming in grease, black pudding rock hard. Even the fruit juices kept running out. I know it was fathers day but it was so chaotic. Worst it has ever been and will seriously consider not returning.

We found this good value for money and child friendly has a soft pace to keep kids amused while they wait on their food

My friend and I had a lovely lunch celebrating her upcoming birthday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Leslwy and Chloe. The food was delicious!

Enjoyable stay, only 4 stars for food as one night when it was quiet, they say they forgot about my order, brought the starter and the main out together and the starter was inedible

The food was delicious and the service was good till the end of our meal. We were presented with the bill even though we hadn't asked for it. Then when we were sorting out the money she came across and went to take and I had to stop her cos it wasn't all there yet. I ended up paying by card just to get peace. We felt it was like you have eaten now go.
