Only found out once on the island that the café was no longer opening for business. Apparently there are still workshops taking place but no drop in cafe

Just stopped for cake and coffee after having a wonderful personal tour by Charlie, who is a ranger but also seems to have several other jobs. The centre was welcoming, clean and perfect after a visit to the Vat of Kirbister.

Working on the Island with my mate and this Cafe was suggested to us by the Pier Master and it was spot. The food was good, our chocolate cake was amazing and the service was perfect. A great view out onto the coastline from the cafe upstairs and plenty to do in the craft area downstairs. I would highly recommend

This little cafe on Stronsay would be the envy of every island in the Orkney Isles. Tasty home-cooked food served in a beautifully restored chapel a short distance from Whitehall is a must visit. Baked potatoes, cottage pie and macaroni cheese were on the menu, together with a great array of sweets including rhubarb crumble, Banoffee Pie and tray bakes including tiffin and a very enticing peanut butter and marshmallow slice. I loved the freshness and heartiness of this food. Service was friendly and very fast and wifi was available. What a little gem this cafe is and how lucky are the people on Stronsay and visitors to have such a great amenity to enjoy their food and also check out the craft in the downstairs gallery.

Found this amazing place... a haven of hospitality and creativity....and lovely cakes! You can attend craft workshops or just go to the cafe or craft shop. The lovely owner even offered to run a workshop specially for us. Thoroughly recommend the ginger and apple cake too.

Set near the middle of the lovely island of Stronsay, this lovely historical building is run by a friendly and helpful staff. They make many lovely craft items for sale, have many craft supplies, run workshops, and operate a nice little cafe.

We visited Craftship Enterprise on an Orkney Ferries Excursion from Westray to Stronsay. (Graham's first trip to Stronsay since representing Westray in competing in the North Isles Sports in 1965).Diane gave us a warm friendly welcome and a brief tour of the premises. What she has achieved with this beautiful 19th c Kirk, is breathtaking. We had lunch in the upstairs Cafe/Gallery, chosen from a multi-choice Menu of mains and desserts. A great relaxing environment and a must to visit. Well done Diane - we wish you every success. Thank you. Kathy and Graham Maben

We discovered this delightful cafe/ craft centre/ shop on our recent weekend break in Stronsay. So nice to be able to get fresh home cooked food, snacks and home bakes, and refreshments at very reasonable prices. This has been exceptionally well converted to provide a very comfortable beautiful space, and guests are warmly welcomed by Diane and her team. Definitely drop in. You’ll not regret it.

A beautifully restored Chapel is home to the Craftship Enterprise. The building has been tastefully restored with many of the original features back on show. The upstairs café is bright and spacious overlooking St.Catherines Bay. The windows are stunning and a perfect frame for the sea view below.

On a cold and rainy day, what better than a hearty sausage casserole for lunch. Just the right amount of kick in it! Recommended.

Sadly I didn't think to book up for any workshops, I will be back to try some. There was glass fusion and weaving workshops going on when we were there and I couldn't believe how reasonable the cost was! The tutors were doing a great job and everyone was relaxed and having a great time. The shop was lovely, with local crafts and kits. Sitting upstairs in the tearoom and admiring the restored roof beams and all the love and attention that was put into renovating this building was amazing. Such a relaxing place and the food was of the standard you would expect, all homemade and delicious.

Great food at reasonable prices and friendly staff makes this the best place for lunch on the beautiful island of Stronsay. The recently renovated chapel with breathtaking views of other Orkney Islands also features a gift shop with crating supplies and hand made gifts.

We were on Stronsay for a short holiday when a friend met Dianne, the director of Craftship Enterprise and took us here. It is about a mile past the east end of Whitehall proper. It is indeed a tea room, but is mainly a craft shop.

Adorable little ice cream shop in Nazareth. Get your ice cream fix with a layer of 50's vibe added in thanks to the decor and music played. From a normal twist, black raspberry, or pumpkin soft style (current choices), to a long list of hard ice cream flavors (teaberry included), to milkshakes and sundaes, there are plenty of choices for any ice cream lover. 🍦🍨🥤

This hotel has very lovely rooms, all with an amazing view. The dining room has a conservatory with a view! Nicely decorated rooms with a tartan touch, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, superb power showers and hot water, with good WiFi signal in the room. Food in the restaurant was delicious with lots of variety on the menu and the specials. Staff were all lovely, Warm, friendly, helpful and the service was excellent. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before so it’s served very promptly at the time of your choosing. If you are stopping anywhere on the Islands, book a room at this hotel, you wont be disappointed.

What a place I was in Whiskey Heaven, my girlfriend was in Gin heaven I sampled some, in my price range drams, from the magnificent Highland Park distillery, I was not disappointed The bar was tastefully decorated with various bottles of whiskey in cabinets adorning the walls and a large display in the rear bar Barman seemed to know his stuff and was very helpful Didn't see much Gin on display, although I did have my Whiskey goggles on, but my girlfriend was very happy with the various tastes available

By far the best choice for dinner in Kirkwall. The lamb curry was one of a kind. Service staff super friendly and great selection of beers and surprising cocktail variety. Make sure to stop by!
