Costa - Hope Street in Liverpool

Called in for a cappuccino and a cake. We both had a cappuccino each and shared a Danish pastry. Service was friendly, big queue so it took some time. Coffee was ok so was the pastry.

Conveniently near to Holland and Barrett, excellent coffee, soya milk available. Ironic to come in here after buying healthy things in H and B

Nice stop in for breakfast on a very icy morning. Croissant was lovely and the coffee very welcome. Service a little bit random. Nearly didn't get the decaf I ordered. Good spot for a brew.

Called in for a quick coffee after visiting the Makers Market nearby. Had our usual cappuccino, delish, staff friendly, smiley and helpful. Fab.

I visit Costa more or less everyday in Allerton and West Derby and generally receive a good service. Once a week when I work in the city centre, I have the unfortunate experience of visiting Costa - Hope Street!! The staff are very rude and extremely lazy when making drinks. They don’t prepare the drinks the way they are trained or supposed to do. Instead, they make them the quickest way possible so not to interrupt their own conversations. Three consequitive visits is no coincidence! Poor attitude and poor management!

Sad to see another Hope St venue conform to the mainstream. Okay coffee, okay service, but do you really belong here???

I visit this costa coffee most days it's always great, but today the normally sound guy with the ponytail was showing off......there was an new girl working today. I asked her for no sugar, then no gom, then no syrup, then rocky comes over to tell me that I have to go over there to get it myself....I was saying I didn't want it? so then he says only ice ones get syrup...I said they are ice ones?. so he was fumin then and says to the girl "it's not you're fault you can't be expected to learn everything" I thought what?? I was totally polite....then the guy slams down two coffees on the table so the new Spanish girl thought he was hard, totally unnecessary, pure cringe I'm going to have to go to Starbucks in future.

Quick service, staff pleasant. This place closes at 7.00 pm. Layout as per norm and was quiet when we went at 645 pm

When I started to make my order the barista (who was the manager) held her hand up for me to stop talking and continued to talk to another colleague. After finishing her conversation she proceeded to acknowledge me with ‘right, go on then...’ to which I gave my order. Also, the caramel latte and americano, I ordered were horrible... watery and couldn’t taste the caramel at all. Would not recommend! Awful customer service and it wasn’t even busy!

Popped in to get a breakfast coffee or 2 on a visit to Liverpool . Was bussy but it didn’t seem it . The manager even though she had drinks orders coming out of her ears was friendly helpful an courteous
