Costa Coffee in Manchester

I always enjoy going to Costa because of their coffee and atmosphere but customer service in the one in Fallowfield is really poor as recently, on 2-3 occasions, Staff -expecially a lady who looks like she's the boss as keeps giving orders to another Staff member- have been quite in a rush and I could only be served a takeaway cup. According to what the above mentioned lady told me, that was because it was only 2 of them and they couldn't catch up! Ps: I went today at 3.30 pm so, considering they are supposed to close at 6 pm, I don't think it's a good reason why they should serve customers like that!

very spacious costa, nice plentiful seating and good staff

Just a decent Costa that doesn't get full until student term time. The staff are lovely and friendly.

I just popped in for a coffee and to sit down for half an hour. The coffee was nice and the staff were ok. It's quite handy if you're shopping and need a break,

walked through the rain in my crocs to get a salted caramel frappe and it was the best thing ever. the two staff members working were lovely and friendly also.

I absolutely love this place … my favourite by far! Great staff, great barista skills .. I do not go anywhere else ❤️

Cannot fault my kitkat hot chocolate from this costa coffee this morning, very strong flavour and good temperature too, and the whipped cream was nice and tall. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the ambience was just right too.

Very fresh food and coffee. Clean and tidy shop.

I am a regular, the staff is nice and the clientele is young and vibrant. Costa should lower the prices though, the quality of the coffee is much lower than, for example, Starbucks or Caffe nero

Looks little different to when it was a Starbucks. Not all that cosy feeling and mostly full of individuals (myself included) working on laptops. Quite likely a favourite student haunt.

Drink was OK. I was doing work for school when the staff told me to only use on table ( I was using two so I had space for my laptop) despite noone asking to sit on the other table I was using and the cafe not even being busy.

Atmosphere lovely and calm, super friendly staff and very clean.

Honestly the nicest customer service I’ve ever received in a costa change - store manager was really nice

Order 2 mac and cheese with 2 drinks and all I got was a drink with no refund how does that even work whats the point of even sending the drink get your business in order

The Cortado was the perfect morning drink. Tried their own brand plant based milk 👌

The staff were super friendly and wonderful! I wish there were more Christmassy menu choices. It's the usual ginger/chocolate type choices. Christmas has other beautiful flavours, mint ( mint hot chocolate), clover, nutmeg , spiced orange, eggnog, toffee, cream, pecan, maple, etc, etc

Cold food order a large cappuccino came half a cup 😭

My order was late which made me and son late and my banana loafs was missing what a joke

I ordered 8 drinks today just before they closed for the queen’s funeral, the girl who served me (I didn’t catch her name) was on her own with a big que 5 minutes before they closed but still managed to do it with a smile. Hope she gets recognised for her hard work Thanks for making a happy film crew 👌🏻

Good was on time but forgot a toastie, when I pay 22£ for 2 coffees and 2 toasties I at least expect to receive them unreal mush

I ordered two items and they missed one item. I’m disappointed with this.

Excellent quality, all items arrived fresh as if I bought in store. Will be buying from this store again

Paid in total over £14 for 2 large lattes that were HALF FULL. Costas prices are more like daylight robbery than the petrol stations in Britain!!

Driver was excellent and waited patiently needs a massive tip how can I do this

Food was stone cold couldn't even eat it and cup of tea was void also and croissant not happy

The staff are nice but honestly I miss when this place was a Starbucks. The lattes are okay but whenever I have a frapp/cooler, it's between being tasteless or having a watered down flavour The last time I had a cupid cooler drink there, there were massive chunks of ice at the bottom of it

Keep making mistakes but love costa coffee.

Service was prompt and drinks arrived still warm however we ordered oat milk in one of the drinks due to allergies and we received regular milk

Not impressed with the brownie I ordered. At £2.25 I was expected the freshly baked brownie from the counter, not a pre-packaged one.

Staff are always quite rude and abrupt in the morning. Sometimes I have been the only person in the store and it's taken 15 mins to make my drink

Absolutely love Costa. Great coffee and great staff. They always chatty and polite.

Tuna panini was cold, Latte was even colder and just over half filled!

Really friendly delivery driver!

They put my coffee in the bag NEXT to my food and the paper bag burst and ruined everything! anybody with common sense would know to put a hot drink in a separate bag.

I just do not understand why extra options ate available if when they are chosen they are never sent! I tried the Fallowfield branch hoping better than Withington! It is not!
