Love this place, so full stars all round. Only let down, even with cameras around there's adults and children who keep coming in and stealing food and drink. While this doesn't concern me, because you must be absolutely famished to steal food, when is the possibility of this crossing over into them stealing people's things. It has to be nipped in the bud.

Coffee good but food choices not extreme... But what was there was tasty.

the staff here are the only reason we came in basically daily. so so cute and always happy to help <33 i really wish i learnt the baristas names because they deserve shoutouts! i love how friendly they are to every person that walks in, i admire how personable they all are and their ability to chat to anybody about anything, especially at 9am. we get the most annoying coffees ever and somehow they can remember our order when we can't, icon behaviour! i hate that we're moving out of the area because we can't come in and grab our silly little sugary drinks that save us from our hangovers from the actual angels that work here but i wish all of them the best!!!

Another great cafe in Withington to add to the wide variety of places we have to eat and drink in the village. Always busy and lots of local people eating and drinking in there.

I popped in for a coffee while I was visiting some shops. It looks ok in there, there's toilets and WiFi. It sat inside and got a large coffee. It cost £3-55. It's served in a huge cup with 2 handles but I have to say it was really weak and not the best that I've had in a coffee shop. The service was ok though.

Staff are so helpful and polite. Good choice of food and drink. Always busy with locals. Nice atmosphere. Clean and accessible. WiFi works.

Definitely 5* and over service! Helen I think the ladies name is, is very helpful, she spotted I was confused in the area as I’m not from round here. Love the staff here, very clean efficacy service one of the best costas I've been too! You leave feeling great due to staff the manager had a great team! They all need a rise!! As they work so hard.

Visited the store on Saturday morning and received really good service. The man who served us (had blue hair but I didn't catch his name) was just lovely. The girl who made the drink was awesome too!

Really kind and polite staff. A particular young lady who is always smiley and welcoming! Ive been a few times on my own and with children. Really enjoyed the mango bubble ice drink in the heatwave. Will be back again 😊

Visited here during our lunch break. It was very busy having one staff on cold drinks, one staff on hot drinks, and they both share the duty of making the food. Waited for quite a bit just to order the drink but the hot drink was instantly made. Friendly service overall and the hot chocolate was delicious. Would definitely visit again when I don't need to rush back to work.

One of my drinks had spilled and arrived almost completely empty, bag was handed to me wet and barely got to have a sip but paid £5 for it, the other 2 were okay but one went to waste.

Zero respect for customers, mopping floor under our table and spraying tables next to us which I find extremely rude, will not be returning

Good location, friendly staff, best tasting Costa coffee. My normal experience is that Costa coffee is very bitter. This branch's coffee is the best I have tasted for a long time.

Rude service on the til, coffee tasted bland. I know it was busy but at least care what you're doing. It wasn't a great atmosphere either due to some customers and the dirty tables

Amazing staff, very helpful,polite and friendly! Service is excellent! Also such a nice place to work or study from (better than the Withington library).

All great as usual but found a rubber band in the ice tea looks like from the drinks machine or something.

Quick service and some parking outside the doors, was just the average Costa coffee franchise experience.

1 out of 4 items right on my order and won’t answer to correct it

Sausage was little bit gristly. The mint choc chip frappé was just what I needed on a hot day though maybe just little bit on the sweet side for me - would be helpful if you could choose sugar level.

What a fantastic team! I was so impressed with their service, all of them were smiling! I was thrilled to see them interact with all their customers in such a friendly way. In particular the way they took the time to socialise with a neurodivergent customer who was chatty and friendly. The team made everyone feel special. Such a clean cafe with a wonderful atmosphere. A credit to the company and the local community. (I would give more stars if I could!)

People who experience poor service are more likely to leave reviews than those who simply recognise that you are two people day in, day out, giving out good service. All food/drinks are great, but missing straw for iced coffee

Always liked calling in at Costa Coffee, you don't always have to buy their food as it can be a bit expensive to buy as well as a hot or cold drink. Just ordered a coffee & wasnt toi bad in price. Nice friendly atmosphere, staff warm & friendly, clean & tidy area.

The delivery driver dropped my coffee when arriving and spilt this over the other items and I'm awaiting him coming back but I have no faith I wsnt my money back or a new order

Always great service from Costa in Withington. The staff obviously take great care when preparing the orders. Ordered many times and never had a missed item. Food and drinks always hot on arrival. Please don’t change! Thank you 😊

Everything is very good, BUT the huge amount of people that occupy whole tables with their laptops is annoying. 4 pm on a Tuesday: 11/18 tables inside the coffee shop are occupied for laptops. They are there for hours and hours with just a coffee. I often sit outside as I have no option, considering change because of that.

Good quick service. Bothered to ask if I wanted to use my free drink.

I waited on the queue for 10 minutes just to be told there will be a 30 minute wait for a drink. The staff was rushing with no idea of what they were doing while people waited there for ages to get a drink. Just rude and disgraceful

Very upset with the customer service today, I came in at 4.30, ordered a drink, to stay in, they called me over and gave me a takeout cup, I said I specifically asked for stay in cup, the guy who was serving said we closing soon and only doing paper cups, so I asked another colleague what time they closing, she said at 6pm, which is an hour n half away, so I said, well that's not soon, n I do not like being served in a paper cup, not what i paid and asked for. So she said I'll change your drink , and she did. So did the guy serving me lie? Or he just could not be arsed?

Not the normal Costa experience. Coffee slopping around the saucer, not that hot. 2 x toasties demoted from being heated by the next customer behind ordering toasties. Eventually one of my two toasties made it to the oven, presented with a tray of coffee so asked could I have the one toasties and could the other make it to the oven. Will do! Do you want sauce? Yes please, one red, one brown. I'll bring it over with your toastie. You've guessed it, no sauce arrived with toastie. My wife gave the homeless guy outside a tenner and advised him to eat across the road at the other coffee house.

This place was dirty, staff arguing in front of customers and just a downright unpleasant experience. Will not be returning, back to coffee lab across the road.

About time I did a review of my favourite coffee shop. These guys have had to put up with me on nearly a everyday basis since they opened a few years ago and always get treated with a smile even under masks throughout a tricky time when they where allowed to open again. Always get a great mocha and love the Christmas breakfast choices. Thanks everyone Merry Christmas and all the best. (Joe from the bike shop).

Itwas busy cos of lunchtime. Staff Were friendly.

The drinks and food were average, however the toilet experience during my visit was very disappointing to say the least. Especially during a pandemic the toilets were highly unsanitary, I mentioned to staff about the condition and nothing was done.

Had to wait well over an hour when restaurant is only 10 minutes away. Ridiculous! No updates or anything 👎🏻

Ordered via Just Eat to my place of work. I’m a busy nurse. We had 5 staff free to answer the door, not one door bell out of the 4 doorbells present and available at the doorstep was used to tell me/us the coffees were going be delivered. I missed several calls on my phone but the delivery address does highlight it is a hospital being delivered to. So I have not had our coffees delivered and now I’m told my order has been completed. Tried calling the Coffee Shop but they are not answering their own phone.

Nice staff and drinks/snack treats up to usual standard. Visit was spoilt by non paying customers using the shop, delivery drivers occupying 2 outdoor tables, one woman eating her subway, one homeless bloke harassing customers inside and out. I would expect staff to do something about this but they were extremely busy serving customers. Edit: 2 months after my initial visit the above seems to have been rectified. However, staff simply cannot cope at busy times, which seems to be all the time. During my visit 2 separate orders were lost due to issues purely of the staffs doing. Simply unacceptable, I will take my business across the road in future.

Order never turned up. Contacted Just Eat regarding this Cannot honestly rate food and restaurant as a result!

The bacon bap & coffee's were lovely. it was the ham & and cheese toasties that was over cooked and lacking in cheese. Plus how do you get the points transfer onto my account.
