Went to costa today to claim my free drink and was given a what seemed like a vanilla frappee. When questioned about it. I noticed my drink didn’t have coffee in there. He pointed at the menu and said not everything had coffee in it with a really crappy attitude. I asked if I could change over the drink and when he did I was given this The cream on top was curdled and had hardly no Carmel in the drink at all. Really really bad customer service.

A great Costa as normal, I was doing some work in Ponty so when to Costa a few times every time the service was fantastic. Thanks

Love Costa Ponty. The staff are always so welcoming and happy to help. The food is a bit over priced I feel but I guess that's the world right now. The coffee is always great, plenty of choice. I've been a few times to do work and the staff welcome this and are happy to bring food to the table.

Very busy branch. Lovely friendly, polite and helpful staff. This would have been a 5 star but was absolutely ruined by the disgusting toilet! Floor soaked and bathroom absolutely stinking of wee. Was coughing and gagging and didn't want to finish my drink after going to the toilet. The smell stuck in my nose and when you realised, there was footprints from toilet users bringing the contents of the bathroom floor out with them. Feel really sorry for the person that has to clean that and maybe the toilet should be locked and use allowed upon request to keep the nasty people that don't request public toilets. This is the kind of toilet I'd expect to see 20 years ago, at a random public toilet building not a bloody Costa. Lovely staff but rancid toilet really, really ruined my coffee and I had to leave. Sorry to the staff! You were so nice.

Cleaning milk jugs is very important process, otherwise someone of your customers will get the intestinal infection. This is a request for management please!

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. It wasn't busy but still I had to look for an empty table. In the end I had to clear the table myself. Doesn't give a good vibe to visit again! I only saw 2 members of staff behind the counter. Even when there were no customers needing to be served, the tables didn't get cleared or cleared. I don't know, maybe there were staff shortages as the reason for dirty cluttered tables. I expect they would have been done straight away if the Health & Safety department had been in. Just a thought if they leave tables like that for some time, how clean are they behind the counter. Makes you think, though, doesn't it. I didn't eat there but my son had a few things. A toastie cheese & ham. A muffin & a desert. He didn't eat all of any of his orders.

First visit to Costa Pontypridd. Staff were friendly and accommodating as with our needs. Open feel with plenty of room around tables to move around. We had the pork toastie, which was just the right temp. Flat entrance for disabled with a slight incline upon entry. Disabled toilet straight to the back with plenty of room for wheelchairs and prams. Will be returning. Tables could do to be cleaned, not just cleared more often. Other than that, brilliant. Thank you.

Had a lacklustre coffee, like many others. The tables were speckled with sugar. It was a reliably soulless experience. I felt like an extra in a low budget daytime soap opera. Will possibly visit a few more times next year, as I live in the town. I probably won't be the instigator of planning the visit. I purchased a great pair of pure wool trousers for £2.25 in Hope Rescue, my coffee cost considerably more.

Nice enough coffee shop. Great service. Level access entrance, so wheelchair accessible. Toilets weren't too clean though.

I love Costa, the staff work as a team and is a calm environment. The food is lovely and the coffee is amazing, plus I bought a hot chocolate powder tub from them too, which is divine with some pumpkin spice in it. Thanks costa pontypridd x

got a coffee the other week, i’m regularly in costa. always amazing service by the young girls that work there that always have a chat. they’d each receive 5 stars from me if the young man, Josh, wasn’t so rude the other day and didn’t ruin it. he gave me the complete opposite service as the girls usually do. didn’t listen to my order, he walked off during our interaction and generally spoke down on me. not one for reviews, but i think he may need assistance with customer service.

Good coffee and pleasant service. Some spilt milk was on the floor near the toilets left not cleaned up. General cleanliness otherwise acceptable.

I really like the atmosphere here. Try the mango Bubble drink.

Another great Costa coffee, I frequently go to the nantgarw Costa, but decided to pop in one day with a friend to this store. Fantastic food, coffee and friendly staff, will be back again

Clean and tidy, plenty of stock and plenty staff

Much like most coffee places in Pontypridd, Costa has a very quiet and soothing atmosphere most of the time, friendly staff and has good quality food & beverages, like a lot of Costa establishments have. I also noticed a cute little bulletin board of promotional groups and activities both in the local area and surrounding areas that might not get as much local interest, which is great to see Costa looking out for people across different backgrounds.

Service is always on point!. Ladies are always friendly and happy to help!. My recommendation is the white hot chocolate it's my go to!. Lares seating area but I always have mine to go!. Parking near during the day upto 11.30am then can park outside from 3.30pn onwards.

Clean and tidy, polite and helpful staff all around. Have had the odd mistake while attending but we're only human it happens. The place is small but cosy, no sofa seat, has a small amount of outside seating. The toilet can be walked in and out of (no key or code needed). Overall not a bad spot for coffee but not perfect. Taken star down one for space management and the seating arrangement.

Great service, friendly staff manages to feel like friendly local independent coffee shop but had benefits associated with large chain. Would recomend Renewed social distance and capacity rules made it slightly more chaotic as less tables available than customers. One joy of being in town alone I got seat in window for one. The chaos was more around customers wanting service as usual while staff tried to ensure seating was safe. Customers made to wait for table cleaning when one came available was real positive, given it was people leave customers charge table and staff straight to cleaning with a just give us a minute to clean

Takeaway cups all Xmas for what supposed to be nice chilled place to sit down and over £4/coffee? No thanx. Gatto Lounge just behind the corner, coffee is cheaper, great cups, warmer!

Great staff very clean and tidy shop service with a smile its great to be able to sit in and enjoy your drink i was even asked if i wanted cinnamon on top of my drink and my boy had a ginger man biscuit with his drink its those little things that makes our day better

Branch in the High At at busy end near the Market. Not at its best during Covid - take-away only - but staff very pleasant and helpful. Queue managed well.

Discussed!! Lots of couples sat on a table of 4 but was told!!!! No, you can’t sit on a table of 4. Sat on a table of two, same member of staff came back, with an attitude and then told me I had to turn my back to the empty table of 4!!! Had enough of the abuse from her and left. Don’t use this place!!!!!

Been to this lovely costa a few times and am never disappointed. The atmosphere created by the brilliant staff members is always so welcoming. Clean and tidy throughout the shop, always get the perfect hot drink on a cold winter day. And the ease of using the new gift cards and points cards is really helpful. Would definitely be returning more often in future. 10/10 👍🏼

This store should be recognised as the store of example!! My son has been going there with his grandmother for the last few years, he is only 2, however the love and care they have shown him even at a young age is amazing. They have given him a Xmas gift he has yet to put down as he loves it that much. Thank you does not seem enough. I solute you for being such great people and representatives for the Costa brand. You have made my son really happy! And I can’t thank you enough for your generosity. Love this place, people come to meat up with family or friends some times a little book club go there great for a family friendly restaurant with friendly staff

Costa in pontypridd has been updated, and it's a pleasant experience, I'm a big fan of Costa's cortardo is my usual drink, but had the white hot chocolate and it was good. Food and cakes are also very good. Chocolate muffin 👍 the staff are always friendly, so if your with friends or on your own this is a good place to relax and enjoy food and drinks. Keep up the good work.

Very good, friendly staff, good hot coffee, new decor very good as well, it was getting quite scruffy, but with decor vastly improved.

Toilets are disgusting should be allowed to serve food and drinks if they can't keep then clean, hygiene in other areas must be in question!
