Costa Coffee in Oldham

Jake and Leonie are so hardworking and work has a team and are very welcoming and are not recognised for all they do even if they are busy always make time for there customers even they are short staffed the shop is always clean and the cups and saucers and plates are always removed has soon has a customer has left the shop and the tables cleared and cleaned please give these 2 hardworking staffsome credit for what they do to keep a very busy coffee shop running so smoothly

Got served by Louis or Lewis today. Did the best rosetta I've seen on a flat white. Good character and effort

I have got hot chocolate from many Costa coffee before but they brought in a new policy and because I was lactose intolerant they would not allow me to have the hot chocolate even though I asked for oat milk

Lovely staff, nice drinks, good vibe - I like working in here, it's a really calm atmosphere and pretty quiet if you sit upstairs.

Go to Costa about 3 times a week never disappointed if you have not been please try it

Went in on the Monday the 8th the staff was lovely, especially Chloe, Jack and Lexie. Made me feel very welcome and they make the best cappuccinos! Highly recommend to all. Out of all 3 in Oldham this is definitely the best and the one I frequent the most. :)

I went into Costa today and jack and lexie were very warm and welcoming. Jack attended to making me a delicious hot chocolate best I've ever had in Costa In fact. He does his job well as all the other staff members do . I l9ve visiting Costa in the spindles it's so inviting and nice to be there . If you have been then I suggest you do , get one of Jack's hot chocolates you won't be sorry .

Just wanted to leave a review about how appalling Jacks customer service was today (Oldham spindles). His attitude was horrible and he upset a young boy who is autistic by shouting in front of other customers which caused my client who suffers from learning difficulties an anxiety attack. I am unsure if Jack suffers from any mental illness but I'd kindly recommend Jack to seek some form of help for his mental health as he very unstable. Terrible customer service

It was my first experience at Costa Coffee in England. I ordered Chae Latte and was great. They have multiple options and I saw they make everything in professional way. A nice place to sit and relax after you get done with your shopping in or around town square of Oldham.

Didn't eat here just order brews as its cold out side

The manager here is the most abrupt and disgracefully behaved person I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. This used to be a great Costa with friendly staff. Now all the old staff have left and I can only surmise because of the manager. She speaks to the staff with such disrespect, I’m surprised they don’t break out in tears. I’ve seen Tasmania devils with better temperament than her. Would not recommend this place anymore and it’s such a shame a sit used to be a really friendly welcoming place to have a break.

Typical Costa's really,,, Coffee is always nice but pricey, cake's always too small and pricey for portion size too. Always nice service. I'd go again.

Absolutely disgusting place ordering two coffees for staying in and asked for proper cups but we couldn’t have them apparently due to a big pile of dirty cups in the back - sorry what ??? There were also clean cups on top of the coffee machine wow ! The manager lexi was disgusting calling me a big mouth just a joke low level individuals who have no skills in anything but derogatory comments shame on you Costa for not offering a proper cup with my £3.75 coffee will not be visiting AVOID

In a rush for work, I stopped here not knowing what I wanted to drink. Lexie brightened my day with her friendly and helpful demeanor. Her positive energy is exactly what this company needs.

Wonderful picked up some free coffee due to voxi promotion....really happy

The coffee is at Costa standard but the service is horrible. We walked in and there were people already waiting. The two servers were too busy cleaning up / packing up, whilst there was still over 40 mins left before closure. We waited 10 mins before one asked if we were waiting to be served, which I felt was a daft question because why else would we be there. They assumed we knew where the line is supposed be but it was the first time we went there. The drinks came out in good time and was ok. Very poor service and cannot be compared to Starbucks. I use to prefer Costa but I won't be using this one again. Training in customer service is needed here.

Unfortunately when I went in there was a lack of choice for food and staff seemed overwhelmed. The cashier that served me was really friendly though.

Extremely poor higien!!!! Slow service, staff on the phone when costumers waiting!!!! I haven't seen that filthy , unorganised and horrible Costa shop for past 20 years that I'm living in uk. !!!!

Paid to drink in but did not get the real cups, instead I was offered a take out cup, despite insisting I was sitting in. To top that, the seats are dirty and filthy like they’ve never been cleaned. Not the service I was expect I got

Might seem low market but I really did not enjoy the Lemon/Ginger fusion offering. Lemsip Tate's better. Yes taste is very personal but it was insipid and uninteresting.

Horrible customer service , horrible staff

No consistency in the drinks made here compared to the other branch at the ICC. My chaii latte just tasted of milk. First thing in the morning they didn’t have any cinnamon powder to top it up either.

Moved to new location. Bigger and more spacious. Staff are all polite and friendly. Lots of choice. Highly recommend 👌🏼

The disabled toilet had been out of order for a while now my husband cannot get up the stairs so we resort to going to Wetherspoons for him to use the loo get you finger out costa please get it fixed

An excellent example of the Costa experience

Daily breakfast place, no issues or concerns. Just one point sometimes even first thing in the morning when its open some of routine items such as Mac and Cheese are not available which I personally dont like as my breakfast menu remains the same.

Worst costa I've been to in a while, 4/5 staff standing chatting whilst there's orders to be done and still got my order wrong twice!

The staff in this costa coffee are lovely we visited this coffee shop sunday they were very busy but still lovely and helpful

I think the move to the new location has lost something in the ambiance. The staff on today were all very young but managed to keep a busy shop together. Service was a bit slow.

Expensive but great food and drinks

New store in Town Square shopping centre facing body care. Tables not cleared of previous peoples dining or wiped. Floor dirty in areas. Visited at 1.40pm 3 staff behind counter, 1 of which new assistant manager with a bad attitude. Very slow customer service. Face like a wet weekend!! Needs lessons in customer service and how to smile.... Long wait for service & drinks & food. Clear & clean your own tables. Drinks wrong when finally got them had to go back again to counter. Shame because the old Costa was nice, more friendly & cosy. Hopefully it will get better. Send the Manager from the Hollonwood costa to sort this place out. He will soon have it running right. 👍😐

Popped in for a coffee . Staff especially young blond female chatting a as nonfat themselves no eye contact with customers got my order wrong ! No apologies refund then recharged and waited longer . Nah not for me bland overpriced coffee with rude staff . Won’t be back

A liitle bit dated all seats were stained and service was slow probably owing to just eat or dileveroo taking up their time like most places these days.

Gorgeous food and drinks but soooo slow

One of the few coffee shops I have been to where its a lovely community atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. The customers I can see are very regular and dont just come for a coffee - they come to see a familiar face and to say hello. Keep up the good work!

Service was slow, shoddy and not very covid compliant, not the usual Costa service and professionalism. The staff member had no mask, i asked for a cappuccino, he spilled half the espresso down the outside of the cup before putting the milk in. Did not wipe the outside of the cup or cleat the spill from the saucer and handled the cup numerous times without gloves or washing between customers. I was in a rush after waiting longer than normally would be for the one customer before me so I did not bring it to his attention. I will not be returning to Costa in the Oldham shopping center again.

Top staff in here. It's Costa, same as what you get in any other Costa, with top staff.

Took a trip to oldham with my dad and we popped to Costa for dinner. I could not fault the service from Alex, Abbie, Chris and Mia! To start with I know that either Mia or Abbie were new and she served us with great entheausiasm and great efficiency. Chris treated his staff so well and praised them and encouraged them which was lovely to see. Either Mia or abbie asked If we wanted our toasties done on the same pan and this is great too, shows that they care for the customer Last but not least Alex! what a gentleman with a great heart and a kind soul, greeting everyone and asking about their day, this makes it such a lovely environment. Alex even said to the older customers that he would bring the drinks to their table and went as far as to tell people in the queue that he would do the same for them also. I think this is what makes a nice experience when you want to have a drink and relax. Overall what an amazing team !

I guess I'm being a bit biased, as I have a Costa account. Nevertheless, the staff are friendly and professional. And the cafe is a good size with comfortable seats. One of the best Costa cafes I've visited.
