Costa Coffee in Lisburn

I come here quite regularly and it's always terrible but on this occassion it was a complete joke! It was lunchtime so there was a queue to the door which I expected but what a sham. I waited 15 minutes to get served. There seemed to be enough staff but they hadn't a clue what they were doing . There didn't seem to be any sort of system. The customer service was terrible - bordering on rude. The girl on the till should be fired. She was useless and rude. The food hygiene standards are also a joke. Nail varnish, hair hanging everywhere, excess jewellery etc. You need a new manager in this store ASAP

Loved this Costa as very modern, bright and large. Lots of choice of buns etc and staff were friendly. Experience was ruined by a group of mums who had taken over an area upstairs and basically sat drinking coffee while all their kids were loud, playing all over the floor and had made a large section of upstairs inaccessible by their games being all over the floor. The noise of the kids shouting and interacting made a pleasant coffee time anything but enjoyable and their parents seemed oblivious. I have kids, I don’t mind kids but this really was loud. Looked also like they were there for hours. Even as we went downstairs to leave the noise could be heard and I think maybe staff clearing tables should have been more aware of the noise levels and asked them to quieten down.

Lovely building and consistent food but really needs a better manager to oversee the staff. It wasn’t overly busy when we were there but lots of the tables were dirty and needing cleared (I cleaned ours myself to enable us to sit down). Went downstairs afterwards to leave and a teenage girl and boy were chasing each other around the cafe wrestling over a mobile phone… it transpired they were staff! At least three staff members messing around whilst customers were sitting there, surrounded by dirty tables.

Awful! There were 9 members of staff behind the counter. One serving and she got our order wrong. The staff were getting in each other’s way so that things were being dropped. We had to take our drink back as it was cold. We went to sit down upstairs and there were loads of empty uncleared tables. Why so many staff behind the counter? One of the worst Costa experiences I have had.

The staff are really friendly and happy amongst themselves, the only problem is they dont relay this to the customers, also I dont know whats going on with the internet but I couldnt get on it. Coffee was nice

Went through the drive thru and ordered a caramel frappe with no cream which I emphasised twice and off course they give me it with cream. To make matters worse they don’t even put any caramel in it. Such a simple order and try get it wrong £5 wasted!
