A lot of Asian foods and prices are reasonable

First time coming here today & really enjoyed it, will definitely be returning soon.

Multiple food choices on offer though I did find when we first went in there was quite afew foods that was running low and had gone dry or cold or hard. But then once they had replenished food it was all tasty. The deserts on offer though wasn't as nice as another COSMO place we'd been to in Belfast but none the less there was different variety's. The toilets could do with a clean and seats fixing in cubicles. If you struggle being in busy loud places this probably isn't the best place to go we went around 4 and it was very manic people bumping into you and you find yourself trying not to spill your food whilst walking around and dodging people. Waited awhile to be seated as there was no one around and a qué had formed but eventually got seated no problems.

Where can I start. Firs of all ..I booked at 6 pm as dinner in case people think I booked before closing time ..trays of food is empty some of them never even replaced for the time we booked which 1.5 hr as thy ask you when you booking..variety of food very poor..yorkshire pudding are burn and they still putted for serving.food either so salty or no salt ..mussels cold like been there forever without any flavours.the only food I was eating is sushi which I compliment the chef for it other than that it is so poor flavour.puddings half or more fi ished without replacing it ..ooh toilets not attended with cleaning even soap dispenser isn't working ..plates pile on the table until you ask staff to remove it I know som of you will think I'm fussy but trust me I'm headchef I know what I'm saying ..I been I that restaurant from around 6 years and the standard was much better ..I hope it as just my experience and day off at the office for the staff .

When we arrived 10 minutes before our booking time, we were met with large a queue which went out the main doors. We were then seen by front of house who told us to wait around in the foyer with numerous other patrons until our name was called. Another 10 minutes passed and we were told to 'go up' where we seen by reception who then took our name and told us to pay for our booking at the bar, then we were told to go back to reception to be seated . By this time it was 15 minutes after our allocated booking slot. The food quality is good but the variety is very limited (there's more variety at Topps). The restaurant itself felt like it had been massively over booked and was very cramped. The tables were so close there wasn't any room for people to got out to get food. We paid for bottomless drinks and had to wait 10 minutes because there were no glasses. It was probably the worst dining experience of my life and definitely the most stressful. I will never eat here again, it's definitely not worth the nearly £200 we spent plus the £11 I spent on parking

This All You Can Eat Buffet Is AMAZING !!! Oh my gosh once I stepped into this place I thought it was like a palace ! The staff is so kind & helpful , if you are in need of something they will assist you. The food cuisines are also diverse including - Indian , Italian , Chinese etc. However , there is a time limit which I don’t really think it’s necessary. But overall 9.6/10! (++++ points for staff , food and interior) (- points for time limit)

I used to visit the COSMO branch in Edinburgh regularly when I lived there, so I had high hopes for the Manchester branch. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. Compared to Edinburgh, the seafood selection was more limited. The live cooking station was also disappointing — the chef used the same hob for both seafood and steak, which caused the flavours to mix in an unappetising way. I also tried the roast turkey, which was served cold. On a more positive note, the desserts were quite good. Service-wise, it was okay. However, our group of 17 was kept waiting at the entrance until every member had paid, which was inconvenient and poorly managed.

Awful restaurant. I have been to the Belfast Cosmo and it was soo much better. Better food. The worst part of the experience is being pressure into paying a drink food and tip before we had anything... My partner was going to leave a tip and told him not too. Awful experience hated it. I would just like to clarify again the Belfast Cosmo does it so much better.

Good authentic food and service their

The food here was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes—many of which you don’t typically find in other buffet restaurants in Manchester. I was so surprised to see a chocolate fountain too! However, the service was quite disappointing. A short Latina waitress had a rather unfriendly attitude. When my friend tried to order a drink, he mistook the £3.20 price for regular Coke with the £1.20 price for the Coke used in alcoholic mixes. The waitress neither pointed out the mistake nor mentioned that we could have upgraded to unlimited refills for just £4. We only realised this after we had paid, which left us feeling quite frustrated. What made it worse was that halfway through our meal, the same waitress came over and asked, “Do you already paid?” (yes, that’s exactly what she said—grammatical error included). She then insisted we show our receipt, which felt both awkward and unnecessary. It really spoiled our appetite and the overall experience.

Very nice inside but to busy for me loud kids running around staff everywhere you look wait was only 5 min to get a, table food was nice but wasn't so hungry so only had Indian then Chinese then dessert had cocktail and food quite expensive didn't realise how much it would come up but its good if u want a nice meal out good for big family birthday party's £21 each all u can eat then add drinks on top right in the city near arndale hotels dotted around wheel chair access

Amazing food service and atmosphere

And again brilliant dinner and once again shkurta was out waitress. What a lovely lady! Always smiling and friendly. Update from yesterday! Wow what a change! From 3 to 5 stars from us :) We love all new changes they made to Cosmo :) Little vegan/vegetarian station + more choice on fruits and waffles, croissants,desserts,apple pie, Staff were really friendly when we stock in the lift and it was overall very good experience. We could tell manager was over looking if everyone is ok what was nice. The only thing I would like to see improvements on is more vegan dishes and desserts but we will definitely be back ^;^ We used to go there all the time but last few Sundays we were very disappointed how some dishes were unavailable including simple noodles and we had to wait for a while for them to come out… My family eats meat and they said that quality went down and I don’t eat meat and I felt exactly the same way. You can taste that dishes don’t taste the same as they used to. They could do more vegan dishes and desserts for sure.

Myself and my family visited cosmo Manchester the day before Mother’s Day as part of Mother’s Day. Present was a heavily pregnant woman , a child and 3 other people we was all poorly after eating here I contacted the cosmo and was asked to complete a form for them to investigate, since then it’s obviously been well over a month iv emailed even phoned up they refused to refund the balance until they have “investigated” but they have been blanking my emails which is so rude and unprofessional no customer care or concern especially when a child and pregnant woman has been effected! Very disappointing and I won’t be going back! I explained to them at never happened before but on this occasion with all of the party being poorly and the risk to a child and pregnant person it’s not acceptable as what was suppose to be a treat and we ended up unwell they havnt even acknowledged my concern just trying to deny any responsibility then ignore me when they could of just apologised and made it right!

I had a brilliant meal at Cosmo! Extraordinary service from Amany. Asian food corner was delicious. Coconut passion fruit cake is a must have, not too sweet. Cosmo's soft cream was spot on. I always enjoy my visits, but this one was particularly memorable. Can’t wait to come back for more deliciousness!

My friend asked me where I want to go for my birthday dinner and I said let's go to Cosmo because I like buffet and Cosmo is a big chain, they are in all the big cities in UK but I've never been to any so let's go to our local one. We were sat down by a gentleman who had a serious face, not really a smiley person for a front of house. Later a dark hair lady waiter came and charged us for our bill before we could go to take food which was completely standard but we never saw this dark hair lady again. We were the first table in that section and right after we sat down more people were sat in that section and a blonde hair lady with dark eyebrows started covering that section. she was very friendly to everyone that came in after us, possibly a bit too friendly as she advised the table of 6 next us that instead of paying separately they should all let one of the lady who had NHS discount pay for all, this way all of them could get 10% discount compared to only 1 person getting it. The blonde hair lady waiter also told that table of 6 that for one of the children she should have charged price of adult but she charged price of kid instead (I am not 100% sure as I may have heard this part wrong). the blonde lady was nice to other tables in our section as well checking if everything was okay, clear the plates, ask if they needed any more drinks, etc. the standards you know. But our table just seems invisible to them since we made the payment. Not a single person bothered to check if we needed more drinks, if everything was okay, or clearing any of our plates. At first I thought maybe they didn't want to take the plates away as they weren't sure if we were gonna use it again. but then I stack two plates up and still no one bothered taking them away, because our table is so small we didn't have space to put a new plate down so I put the dirt plates on this shelf over my head behind me. Still no one came to take. Then I decided to stack 3 plates on top of each other on my table and leave for 5 minutes to see if anyone would take them. I was back on my seat 5 minutes later with a plate of dessert and the dirt plates were still there, my partner said no one came while I was gone. I sat there for a few more minutes with plates stacked and the blond lady going around tables next to us, different people bringing drinks to the tables next to us, the gentleman showing seats to new customers in our sections, at least 3 staff walked pass my our table and no one bothered to do anything. throughout the whole meal we were bringing dirty plate to the designated area ourselves which was not a big deal because of the price and it was 3% service charge what can I ask for that? however what upset me is that other tables are getting all the attention and not a single staff member spoke to us after they took our money. at first I was joking with my friend saying maybe because we are both Asians but then I looked around and saw everyone sat in our section were white. However I am sure this was all in my head and it's just me overthinking it. Food was good for the price but we were 2 people sat in between 2 tables of 6. The spaces left between tables were so narrow that the guys knocked our table twice while trying to get out to get food and spilled our drinks over the table, which we cleaned it up ourselves with tissues as we were invisible to the staff.

Very dirty ,poor food ,poor variation, service not good , organisation poor , the music poor. Very dirty (toilets dirty ,floor dirty, the plate's not washed properly, glasses not washed,table papers only once ) Poor food ( no chicken only wings or frozen) (No lamps chunk's,only fat and only one type of lamps) (No beef only one type steaks and you not allowed to ask for two part ) (No fish at all only frozen prawns or sekuid) Poor variation ( pizza 2 type , Indian food only chicken tikka the rest 0,the vegetables only the ppr and broccoli and potato, salad really bad not delicious,the Cake old type and all the same ,and the big issue there is no fruiiiiit unbelievable not water melon no banana no tangerine no kiwi no blue or blackberry no plums no fruit only ananas from the can , ) Poor music (no variations or nice and relaxing music). The service (no smile no Hi no bye no grimace,all grumpy). The organisations poor as well you not allowed to change the table or seat where you want . 20£ it's to much for buffet like you guys . And one ⭐ star it's to heavy to hold. Am really disappointed I planned to come there to enjoy 2 hours and have a nice time with my friend but I was unsatisfied. Am not try to blamed you but just let you know guys your service it's to poor to be in UK . Try to do better and try to find a good manager who can do better. Thank you for everything.

Avoid,really didn't enjoy the quality of the food, most dishes lukewarm and poor quality.Toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned and no toilet seat or locks on the door.

Genuinely horrified by this place. I've visited other Cosmo's around the country and this is by far the worst. Horrendous atmosphere, more akin to a school canteen. They have security staff which, just shouldn't be required in a restaurant. Anywhere in the world. If you"re traveling to this place, stay in your car and keep going to Liverpool. Genuinely a MUCH nicer experience.

Visited for the first time on Saturday, went for a friend's birthday 🎂. It's was very busy, paid for all you could eat and drink. Such a choice, curries, rice, salad to Sunday dinner, and lovely desserts🍽 soft drinks. Alcohol is an extra charge. Friendly staff, very professional and helpful. Very clean and stylish interior Would recommend going during lunchtime in the week if you want somewhere quiet.

This is our third time coming to cosmo. Food variety is great. The quality of food is always good. All the southeastern dishes are very tasty, some are even better than what you get in china town. We came on the first day of half term and a very sunny day. I think that’s the reason cosmo was fairly quiet. Service was superb. Everyone was friendly and polite. We will definitely come back again !

I always end up too full visiting here, but the food is fantastic for "buffet" style food. Extremely good value for money, and we always look forward to going here.

They accommodated me as a walk-in without pre booking. The staff were excellent. A whole lot variety of meal.

Have been to Cosmo in other regions and have to say was disappointed with this one in my hometown. It's never a great sign when you walk in and the downstairs bar is covered in cling film and has broken cupboard doors. Upstairs we were seated promptly and charged for drinks and food before being given our 'food curfew' time and set loose. This is where it goes further downhill. Cosmo is charging one of the highest buffet prices in the city centre and for this, combined with a time limit, I want the service to be great. It wasn't. Trays of food were painfully empty for prolonged (>15mins) of time. The chocolate fountain wasn't working, an ice/water machine was cling filmed up! If you're not in a rush this is fine but when you have a time limit for a 3 course meal then all these things become an issue. The quality of food was average with few stand out dishes but, to be fair the bottomless soft drinks at £3.95, were reasonable, given the location. We went on a Saturday for a birthday and there are promos for this and also the blue light discount however, neither are accepted on Saturdays (Sundays oddly are okay though). All in all it was an average to below average experience but with an above average price. My thoughts are that it won't last long at this rate as there are better, cheaper options locally.

Excellent food a dining experience The Thai waitress subrani was amazing I had a very nice chat with her as I am half Thai and can speak Thai fluently myself The manager Caitlin was amazing as well I came abit late and the food was getting taken off the buffet I told her I could eat fast and just load my plate up She said...sure go ahead and she didn't even charge me and said it was on the house as they were clearing it up She noticed I had been on my feet looking for work,and she let me eat for free She and her team have done an amazing job with the turn around The food is so much better, the layout is way cooler and there is so much more variety and choice these days It's way better than what it was like when it was red hot world buffet I know this as I worked here when it was red hot world buffet Great job and great service cosmos I will most definitely be returning soon Excellent at cosmos on deansgate by the traffic lights 🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦

Definitely not for Indians. Ambience is good but I did not like the food at all as not spicy and for sure 100% not for Indians.. I liked the deserts.

Food was lovely especially the mains ! So much choice and all very fresh but the pudding was slightly disappointing, The staff was very helpful and any drinks ordered was brought very quickly. To out table, looking forward to a second visit !!

Average at best- not really much there half the things are empty- toilets are disgusting without any toilet roll 1 cubicle without a toilet seat. For a restaurant not the best of hygiene.

Variety options and good ambience and kids got many varieties

One of the best buffet restaurants in Manchester. They have many branches in the UK. 26 restaurants across the UK and Ireland, with 18 in England, 4 in Scotland, and 1 each in Wales, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. The environment is very good looking. The foods are delicious and exquisite. A lots of varieties of foods and drinks are available. The drinks are bottomless. The people working there are very polite, helpful and charming. The chefs are very expert. All different types of cuisine from around the globe are available here. One must try most of them. They refill the foods continuously. Live kitchen is available. The sitting arrangement is very good, well spacious, comfortable and well distanced from the food area. Price worthy. Highly Recommended.

Not enough hot food. Even though it’s buffet once the food is finished no more serving. They seem to enjoy a monopoly of their own restaurant and the is no competition to push their restaurant to be the best.

If you want a buffet then it is a good tasting selection, some food was at a decent temp while others were not. This is to be expected for a buffet style restaurant. By buffet standards decent food for a decent price, bottomless drink is definitely only correct way to go though.

My first time visiting here and it was a Sunday afternoon and super busy with families. The food was all good but lots of things ran out (although they were replacedfairly quickly), and some things could have been warmer. It's just a bit cramped, with too many people trying to get to the serving stations.....and too many kids using hands to help themselves! But the staff that served us were great and its good value.

This is the worse buffet I have been to if I could have gave zero starts I would have. Cross contamination with food. Extremely over crowded with people it felt like animals had been let out to eat. The whole set up is literally manic. I went here for my daughter's birthday (Saturday 22nd Feb 25) from we entered it was manic. Why allow people to make a booking an have them waiting around for over 30 minutes because had we been late that would have been our table gone. The corner where they ushered people to wait was over crowded and loud nowhere to sit. I had an over stimulated autistic child. By the time we got up there it was the worse atmosphere I have ever been in.. for the price it definitely wasn't worth it, not at that time. There wasn't really much food there. The handling of the food was atrocious if you have allergies I definitely wouldn't go. I witnessed someone pick up fish sushi an just throw it down next to the cucumber sushi which I wanted but because I don't eat fish that contamination threw me off. If I hadn't seen that I could be in a very serious situation today cause I have allergies myself. I paid money to eat nothing because I couldn't chance it with all that my eyes seen. If that wasn't bad enough they have a carvery section where the man was using the same knife to cut all the meats. I don't eat pork. Food in places it had no business being. Food in the curry... It's a disaster waiting to happen The system doesn't work there is no space in-between anything your just on top of people. The only highlight was the fact that they were very enthusiastic an happy to sing happy birthday for my daughter. To be honest I feel like I need to take this further because I was being disgusted with all that I seen going on.

We were waiting at the desk to be seated. As we were just about to be sorted another customer walked past us, straight to the counter and the lady behind the counter who clearly knew that we were next in line decided to ignore us and deal with the man who pushed past us. We left immediately. I can't rate this place as we never made it in because of the poor treatment we received before we were seated. Needles to say we certainly won't go there again or recommend it to anyone.

Being Valentines day, we visited here and was Bitterly Dissatisfied and Very Disappointed with this place We had to pay upfront (unlike most similar buffet restaurants) for food that looked old, and dried up. You had to also reach across allowing your jacket to into the food on your plate. We had to ask for plates to be Warmed Up with every serving, as the stacks of plates their for the customers are All FREEZING COLD with the new further down the plates with a WET SURFACE. The layout is also terrible, and thank God this was my 1st and very last visit, to this utterly appalling dining experience (if that's what you call it) Had it not been Valentines Day, I would of got up and walked out before paying upfront- but I didn't want to disappoint my wife, who to my shock and horror said similar to me, after we left. I really felt I had been ROBBED of £43, for two plates each of food, most of it, dried up and utterly disgusting. Never again.

My first time at Cosmo and I felt like It was too busy too overcrowded, but what I really did enjoy was the food it was nice, very taste I could have options for myself while being on diet. But will go there again.

I visited recently and had a pretty good time overall. The atmosphere was nice and the Margherita pizza had great taste, but I felt the drink options were a bit lacking and the service could be friendlier. The cleanliness of the toilets was also an issue, as one was missing a seat and the other wasn’t up to standard. I'd love to see something like sponge custard added to the menu! I’ll definitely consider coming back, but there's some room for improvement.

Visited many places like Cosmo.As a visited to Manchester for the weekend.The food is fine didn't really like the lay out though and some of the staff was brilliant but some also need to be more polite and friendly. When you go to a counter it should be Hi what can I get you. Instead we got a Yes came across quite abrupt

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Had one plate off food and my stomach was on fire got home and was rushed to hospital with food poisoning

It was amazing. Me and my family went there for a birthday. The food gave me a bit of a stomach ache but overall the food was very good. To be honest at some parts of the visit were very icky mostly because kids were sticking their hands in the food ( Ik what ur thinking : let kids be kids) the waiters just stared at them and didn’t do anything about it. That was probably what gave me a stomach bug.

Came with a table of 5, the food was great apart from a few little things, it was half 7 on a Monday by 8:15 nothing was getting replenished and all the food was just getting less and less, the chocolate fountain was turned off also the ice cream machine was out of order, The meat for the carvery there was only a small bit of beef left that was stone cold I would deffently go again but would have to be early, service was about 90% the only downside was the 13% service charge on every drink but the lady that served them was very polite and always smiled, will try again and update my review according.

You really need to try this place. We went on a busy Saturday early evening on spec and were treated with grace and understanding. What a great place. I'll be back again this week.

During my dining at cosmos I was served by Shkurta she was very delightful and careful to engage with, her lovely customer service was excellent and she was very patient and kind while attending to customers. I do recommend cosmos because of her and the staffs customer service.

Food was nice but dishes a bit limited in variety...fast service and staff was lovely. Only thing bringing this place to its knees is the toilets eye-wateringly bad!! Floor was slidy and there was an tired af looking non concerned attendant out side who clearly didn't care

Let's start with why input atmosphere at 4 stars while the theme was great and everything was clean it was quite busy but still could find a table quickly as expected the buffet had many options from different cuisines the food was always fresh and warm the variety was great I personally reccomend the sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice and for dessert the soft serve ice-cream which is great with many toppings Cosmo is a great buffet with skilled and kind chefs :Note all the good meats are behind a carving station of sorts which is cool to be a VIP and have someone cook and slice meat Infront of you 5/5

On 30 December went to this buffet, the service was poor and totally dissatisfy , especially when I requested two glass cup( for water), the server whom's name called Shaa, She seems not care even she take my order, even she shows not good attitude at all.I had waiting a long time then told another lady but they still not bring us any glass cup. So at the end we spoke to the manager then they bring us a cup. What abad service and spent more than £50. Really feels unhappy by such poor service.

Used to love this place and so did the kids but have been today and there was not as much choice as usual even though it's a Friday evening me and the kids left disappointed.
