Very nice, small coffee bar with delightful service. Excellent, small, tasteful breakfast menu and serving, undoubtedly, the best coffee in Newmarket. Highly recommendable.

Best sandwiches. Owners are lovely. Highly recommend the Parma ham, mozzarella and pesto sourdough sandwich. GORGEOUS.

For me this coffee shop ticks all my boxes. Great coffee and delicious food made with fresh produce and love. The pride that is put into the food oozes through. The smashed avocado topped with salmon was superb and my son had a mozzarella toastie with homemade pesto ! And on top of the excellent food and coffee the cafe has a clean and modern interior. A very relaxed atmosphere with classy background music and some great horse artwork and memorabilia. Finally, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We have just moved to Newmarket and we are so pleased to have this on our doorstep. Looking forward to our next visit and trying the homemade crumpets.

I love the coffee here but had lunch for the first time today. My panini was absolutely amazing, like a little taste of Italy on a grey Suffolk day in January! Great vibe and service, highly recommended.

We had cortado coffees late in the day. The coffee flavour itself was okay, although was a little too milky for a cortado. Coffee shop was nice and tidy, although we did have a take away, staff friendly enough.

Travelling on the A14 and looking for good coffee and a breakfast? This coffee bar is definitely worth the detour into Newmarket. Excellent coffee, friendly staff and nice surroundings. Set us up for the day.

On a visit to Newmarket I came across this delightful café by chance. And I am very glad I did! I love good coffee, and the cortado I had was wonderful! Relaxed atmosphere, my kind of music, and friendly people. Will definitely be going back!

If you are in Newmarket or just passing through and in dire need of a good coffee, then head straight to Richard and Eva in Cortado. And coming fro a non coffee drinker the might sound strange. But I have brought many friends Cortado and they have all thoroughly enjoyed it. Their sausage rolls are delicious... Remember, Coffee ? ..... Cortado....

I’ve been here for breakfast a few times now and it’s always excellent. I do enjoy eggs Benedictine. I’m not a coffee drinker but their coffee is excellent. It’s so god I don’t need sugar to take away the bitterness. I would highly recommend a visit, the cakes look great too.

Simply awesome!!!!! My go to for coffee, pastry, lunch, brunch and sushi. Their coffee is the closest to authentic Southern Mediterranean blends. It’s served with a smile and fantastic service. Their food menu to eat in and take away is also delicious and if you like Sushi you will love their Thursday options. My favourite weekend treat.

Just discovered this great little place. Superb coffee range and excellent cakes, and the food looks awesome to (but not tried yet). The couple who run it are very friendly and engaging. Will certainly be using this authentic caring place instead of the usual ‘chains’. A gem - go discover!!

This is my regular coffee shop. The best quality coffee in town, reminds me of Italy and Spain. Even get withdrawal symptoms. Highly recommend.

Visited for the first time today with grown up daughter. Great service, superb coffee, best avocado on toast I have had in an age. Really welcoming atmosphere and such a find. Looking forward to many future visits.

Excellent find in Newmarket with VERY good coffee, as good as I get at home in Italy. I used to grab and go from the coffee station at the garage, but no more. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is really good, and what is probably the best coffee in town. I recommend the eggs benedict.

There aren’t many places (outside Italy) that can make coffee like the Italians do, but this is one of them. We always go here now when in Newmarket. Perfect for nipping across from the Premier Inn hotel and having a decent cup and a pastry!

This place is great for some excellent real coffee and a light bite. Only small but one imagines it will grow as time goes on. Lots of nice themed evenings and days are being thought out in here. Great little spot with great potential

Stopped here after a 27 hour flight and was dying for a coffee, it was worth waiting for. Busy little cafe/bar with wonderful food and excellent pastries, so much so after a waking up the next morning early we were back there at 7.30 opening...

Delightful independent coffee shop just off the main High Street. My go to place whenever I am in Newmarket. Superb coffee, delicious pastries and great service.

Popped in for a sandwich lunch, great choice, lovely quality and fabulous service. Tempted by the cake too which topped off the coffee nicely! We’ll be back for breakfast some time soon.

Great coffee, definately the best coffee in Newmarket. Must visit! We had few coffees there already and never got disapointed. I just fell in love with Cortado coffee. You can't miss out on this one! Croissaints are top-notch as well! Must try it!
