Fresh tasty sandwiches good value

Without doubt Milton Keynes, if not the world's, greatest sandwich shop. They do close a touch early for my liking (14:00) but other than that the food is wonderful, the prices are amazing, if you're in Milton Keynes and haven't been, treat yourself. If you love a quality sandwich, and can dislocate your jaw in order to bite into one of these, you'll love it.

I work just down the road so frequently get sandwiches from this place. They are amazing!! You get a proper filling right to the edge of the bread unlike most other places. Lovely staff. There’s always some cake choices which are good for a treat. I would give this place more than 5 stars if possible!

This place is undeniably one of the best hidden gems in MK. It's a little bit like walking back in time to the 90's. Although it's a sandwich shop, they also stock other essentials from brands that I didn't even know still existed. The variety here is typical of what I would see in a corner shop decades ago, but the pricing of everything is very competitive. I compared their prices to another local sandwich shop and these guys are over half the price with twice the fillings. The food is prepared each day very freshly and their hygiene standards are perfect. I love their ways and although it frustrates the life out of me that they are cash only (I have spent less here frequently due to not having enough on me) but I also like the fact they're cash only. The lady here is a delight. I absolutely love how much effort she puts in to getting every order correct and how she meticulously prices everything, where they clearly do not want to rip anyone off. As an example, I got an egg and bacon roll (£1.60) a roast chicken, salad and mayo sandwich all of which was super fresh (£3) and some crisps, which they have a lovely wide selection of. Long may this place continue. I absolutely love it. Thank you guys for the service you give to the community, it really is appreciated.

Cash only, basic and rustic. You tell them what you want, they go make it. It's the go to place for the tradesmen it's fresh and so nice. Can't fault them.

Best sandwich shop in mk never had anything bad or overpriced might be little old fashion but you can't be going wrong if you've been in business for 30 years I love it never change not everything has to be hip and super modern to work

Great little place in New bradwell. Best sandwiches going. I like roast beef and horse radish. They go the extra mile to keep you happy. Even do my tea milky for me. Nothing is insurmountable. Very friendly, all of them. Also the food prices are very reasonable. Make sure you take cash as cards aren't accepted and at peak times expect a queue although they offer a very quick easy service.

The quality of the food is top notch and prices are reasonable. However, they only take cash which wouldn't bother me but the service is already so painfully slow in there that rigor mortis is setting in by the time you get, if indeed at all, to be served. Honestly, it takes them typically around half an hour to serve three people, even those who just want items already prepared. To extend the waiting even further, they engage in protracted social discussions with customers; yes, it's nice to show some humanity but not to that degree. A pity, I'd like to use it more but I just don't have time to waste.

Always tasty, fresh sandwiches at a good price. Loses a star because it's cash only and is no price list or menu on display (so you have to ask what's on offer every time - it seems to change).

Lovely lady who greeted me at the counter. However, they have no baguettes, which is fine as it’s currently 1pm and most people would have come earlier. Okay how about a bloomer? Yep, we have that but only accept cash. Like seriously, we are in 2022. Not the stone ages So just by the by, in case the owners of the store do like constructive feedback; many customers overwhelmingly prefer to pay with debit and credit cards. For convenience, ease and just practicality. Credit card / Contactless technology and processing is essential for a small business to maximize its profitability. I’ve just walked away not having spent a penny in your shop as you dont have this basic facility. Anyways, wish you the best in your endeavours!

Fresh bread and generous fillings, great variety of other items also like baked goods, crips, sweets and drinks. Get there early as due to popularity they rattle through their supplies of rolls! Exceptional value for money, 4 filled rolls with premium fillings for under £6!

Lovely little sandwich shop. Quality of the food is amazing and the prices are great also. You can have a sandwich or baguette made fresh on request with the fillings you ask for. I now visit every week day. So much nicer than the pre packaged sandwiches from the supermarkets.

Sandwiches are OK, no seasoning, but no menu, you have to guess what they have, or they list it verbally, which causes a right delay if its busy... Just put a menu on the wall...

Proper sandwiches with plenty of filling. Very cheap for what you get. Clean place and the lady who serves on the front counter is lovely. Would definitely recommend for a sandwich and crisps 5/5

Very quaint and quirky. Not for anyone in a massive rush. There is no display board so you have to ask the lady behind the counter to run through all the options available and then you have to wait while the customer makes up their mind and pays. Orders are made while u wait. They are fresh and fully filled and you get exactly what you want. We placed an order for a lunch function and we were absolutely delighted with what we received! Superb!

My old man showed me this place back in the day and I've been hitting it up ever since. No menus, no bullshit. Just tell 'em what you want in that bad boy, grab a drink, a packet of crisps, a chocolate bar and you'll still have change from a fiver. Legit AF.
