Food was OK at best, steak sandwich was a joke, thick cut bread with very little steak which was over cooked, basically it comes as it comes. with an abundance of places to eat in Cheltenham I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Nice pub in the heart of Cheltenham. Varied menu including vegetarian and pub classics. We had the 3 small plates. Cod Goujons, pulled beef croquettes, Karaage chicken, with a side of fries. All very tasty and freshly cooked. Friendly staff made the perfect evening.

Came here for my girlfriend’s graduation. Private room and amazing food. Staff were lovely, was served by the lovely Sarah who had a lovely smile and gave very speedy service. Best part is definitely the decor, the entrance feels like your entering the titanic and overall aesthetic of the building is lovely. Would come here again in a heartbeat! :)))

What a lovely find in Cheltenham. Visited a few pubs on a short stay and found the atmosphere in the Copa our favourite. Adam was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about his drinks and we will definitely return when back in the area.

Good location in central chelt. Fairly bog standard wetherspoons-esque pub. Staff were friendly. Food as expected from wetherspoons-esque pub. Moved on once the music got cranked up after 9 on a Saturday night. Not our bag, could be a plus to others.

Reasonably priced, good quality food. And the mango cider is gorgeous. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Will come back when I visit Cheltenham in the future.

Lovely pub with excellent staff. The lunch was poor. Steak sandwich you only get 60g of steak for close to £10 so there is more bread than steak. The flat iron steak is also a small portion (especially for a cheap cut of meat at circa £17) and they do not cook to preference. One must try is Karaage Sticky Chicken - that is excellent. Everything else will leave you unsatisfied and disappointed for the price.

Our favourite pub in the heart of the town centre. Quick service, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. My GF particularly likes the Peroni. Definitely worth a visit!!

Copa is in a great location, right in the heart of the town. The main reason that I enjoy this pub is because of the staff, they are superb, always friendly and helpful, they make the visit a joy.

Having lived in Cheltenham for over 7 years - Copa has always been a family favourite! Staff are very friendly and we are always made to feel welcome. Consistent food quality and a buzz about the place!

Great place to relax and have a drink at any time staff there are really welcoming and it's perfect to go with the family or friends. One of my favourite places in Cheltenham by far. The manager is one of the friendliest Ive found so far

Popped in for a couple of drinks and stayed 2hrs, good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Atmosphere good not to noisy and plenty of room a very pleasant experience.

Aggressive bunch of clowns - visited with friends after the Gold cup. You could see it coming, aggressive to everyone and fist pumping each other 🤣. Door men out to cause trouble from the moment we walked in. Think they watched Roadhouse before their shift, had one guy being retrained by two of them whilst the third punched him in the face. Not sure where these clowns got their licence from (maybe eBay, junkies R’us). I know the police are involved hopefully get the idiots licences removed. A shame as it’s a nice lively bar just let down by these jokers.

Disgraceful bouncers. Hurt a Friend who has now a broken hip and bloody nose. They would not let us in to see if he left his jacket behind so picked up and dropped him on the floor... pressing charges to the police. Bouncer on the left who broke the friends hip and nose.

Shocking display by bouncers. No thought about deescalation from a very minor incident, just came in screaming and swinging punches. As I managed to get everyone to safety away from them, they just stood there laughing. My mate has a broken nose because he didn't hear the bouncer asking him to move from the stage steps. Utterly killed the mood, but I guess the bouncers had fun and a little workout.

First day in here for the week I am up in Cheltenham for the races great atmosphere, great people friendly helpful welcoming and beautiful drinks.

Staff inside and restaurant is lovely. Bouncers on the other hand are vile; one in particular a Mr William Mills who uses his own personal vendettas against customers visiting the establishment and will go to extreme lengths to make it unpleasant for them. I was threatened and removed from the establishment and to date the restaurant cannot provide any issue that I may have had at that location and have requested cc tv and no one is able to provide this.

This is the second time we have visited Copa while staying in Cheltenham. Nothing has changed, It is still EXCELLENT. The venue is just right. They have the lighting and music levels just as they should be. The atmosphere is spot on. The staff are excellent including Felix who looked after us brilliantly. As soon as a table is vacated, the staff are there to clear and clean ready for the next customers. Once your food is served, the staff come back to check everything is just right. Service time for food and drink is very quick. Can't fault anything. If only all restaurant bars were like this the UK hospitality industry would be amazing. Sadly service levels in many places we have visited recently are very poor, with the staff basically giving an attitude that they are doing you a big favour by serving you. Any hospitality business that can replicate Copa will be guaranteed success. Andrew Edwards.

Visited The Copa after a days' shopping with my parents. Whenever we frequent Cheltenham, we usually visit The Copa, as we know the standards of both service and food / drink are of the highest standard. With mum being in a wheelchair, we are somewhat limited as to where we can dine without any reservations. The Copa, however, always make the necessary arrangements; regardless of service-level; to ensure we are provided a suitable dining table. On this occasion, we opted for the £10 lunch menu. Our food arrived piping hot, and in double-quick time. Our drinks were delivered and served exactly as requested, with the food following shortly after. The interior design of this establishment is incredibly chic and modern, and is easy on the eye. The only element that tops your experience here is the effortless and genuine service the Copa team provide. Working in a GK Pub in Hereford myself, I am familiar with the traits required when providing top service. These traits seem embedded amongst the Copa team. They even found my fathers' phone on the floor and held it aside after our departure. A flawless experience from start to finish!

Disappointed that we didn't get a Christmas meal. We ordered a turkey meal but was told they have ran out. The toilets can do with improving and cleanliness. We went elsewhere in the end.

Stylish interior, staff were amazing very helpful and friendly and we felt very safe. I had the Sunday roast it was absolutely fabulous. I would advise to book it on a Sunday as appeared very popular. The beef was scrumptious. Reasonably priced for the homemade quality. Well worth the visit. We will definitely go back!!
