Connaught Kitchen in Norwich

Found this place completely randomly I was in norwich looking for a new car and also doing a couple of calls for work i was parked in Dereham road so got google out and this place come out. It was a nice if a little out the ordinary place the service was really good and the food was a little different but was very Nice, price is a little higher than other places i have been to but the food quality was exceptional and was well worth the extra. WIll be coming her e again. Its a little out the way in a more residential area but parking was OK so well worth the trip if you can, I love finding hidden gems like these.

Came here for Basil Club, it was amazing.Really good pizza and the venue is lovely!

Went for breakfast today and cannot fault the food or service. The full English was really good, everything cooked perfectly, and I really enjoyed the sausages they had on special. Also shared a portion of loaded hash browns which were incredible. Others in our party also highly recommended their poached eggs of toast. Our waitress was patient, happy, talkative, and helpful. The cafe was a little loud but this was to be expected on a Saturday morning at peak breakfast time, especially as all the tables were taken (we booked ahead, would recommend others to do this too). Also dog friendly, two pups in there today.

Had the pleasure of coming here a couple of times and it’s definitely become one of my favourite spots in Norwich…great coffee, fantastic food and lovely staff who run it. Everything is excellent quality and the overall atmosphere is fab.

Lovely visit, 6 adults and a baby. Friendly and good service, food was brilliant, yummy coffee, we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back! I never order cooked full breakfast but it looked so good and it didn’t disappoint.

Amazing!!! Staff provide the best service (and coffee) in Norwich. Food is delicious and menu ranged from a classic bacon roll to something adventurous and new to try 😋😋😋 Free parking on the two streets the cafe sits on the corner of so didn’t have to worry as there were lots of spaces, 10/10 for everything

One of the best in the neighbourhood. We go quite often. Best in all aspects. Excellent quality of customer service, food quality, taste, portions, variety etc. Babies and pets friendly. Definitely recommend. Will go again.

What a really lovely find?! There were 4 of us and we all said that our breakfasts was one of the best we’ve ever had, so flavoursome, premium ingredients and generous portions. The coffee is also delicious and you could tell they use good quality beans. The vibe is lovely and welcoming for all. We’d highly recommend it and if ever in the area would be back ⭐️

This is one of the best places I have visited to have breakfast. It is really worth a repeat visit. They won my heart with the beautiful smile on the faces of the workers. Since I saw those welcoming faces and kind souls, I go to them every morning. I visited them three times in one week because they deserve it.

I love this place. When I was a student, it was a bed shop, then a bike shop, and all the time, it should have been a brilliant eatery. The service is friendly and the food superb. I had the sausage sando to go and it was just awesome!

Went for brunch with my mum & wife & we had a great time. Bacon Roll & home made Granola was excellent & so was the coffee. It was worth the wait after a long run! Thank you for great food & service!!! Lucky to have a great local place to go too!

Heard that this area the Golden Triangle was pretentious - talking to an old local boy and he told me wealthy London types dominate - paid 7 quid for two slices of toast and a coffee - the chef very kindly pre buttered it for me ! - end result didn't taste it - everyone uses Yah for yes - saving grace the Fat Cat definitely not up it's own backside x

Came from Arizona and my daughter and her boyfriend brought us to her favorite brunch. What a place. We need this in Arizona. Service, food, and people 5 stars. We will be back.... probably tomorrow... ha

Absolutely lovely cafe! The crew here are so pleasant and cheerful, always happy to go the extra mile. The coffee is excellent, and this is coming from an Aussie! Their food is so full of flavour and delicious. I had the sweat waffle today and just wow. My wife had the pimped hash and was very tasty. There is plenty of parking around and with such a good atmosphere I can't wait to come back again.

Highly recommend this cafe for a brunch! Lovely food and service. A gorgeous black cat would ask you for food. Might be a bit hard to park if your car is big.

Super cool vibe . We had 2 excellent veggie breakfast which had top quality ingredients . James our wonderful host made us a fantastic iced matcha latte with strawberry , honey and mint. Lovely venue, cute decor and great use of space. Very friendly staff and within in a small menu everything looked delicious so was very hard to choose what to have! Pimped hash was sublime. Will definitely return for more! Recommended booking!

Had coffee from here a few times and decided to go for breakfast a few weeks back with some friends. The food was great, really good service, everything came out nice and quickly, would love to see a couple more vegan alternatives on the menu, but can’t fault any aspect of the breakfast! We’ll be back!

Been walking past this place for ages & finally went in last week and I’m gutted I haven’t been sooner. The food is so delicious and the staff could not be more friendly, the French toast is absolutely to die for!! Excellent French toast and wonderful staff

The coffee, cake and cooking are all tremendous, but what makes this cafe sing - besides its location making me feel like I'm on holiday - is its staff. Their kindness and joy give this place a cosy warmth - and so I'll tell many a friend about Connaught's 😊

We try to eat here every time we visit family in Norwich. Food is reliably delicious and superb quality. Love the atmosphere and the people working there and I wish we had a cafe like this where we live, near Croydon.

A beautiful little gem of a place hidden away in the residential streets of Norwich. The staff are all wonderful. The food is amazing. Small but perfectly formed.

Stumbled upon this place kinda by accident but so glad I did. Had a vegetarian full English breakfast and I would say it's probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

Amazing atmosphere, great music, lovely staff, a lovely location with a lovely cat that comes and says hello. The only thing I found was that the coffee was super bitter. Other than this absolutely no qualms :)

Another amazing breakfast/brunch nestled in the heart of the Golden Triangle. Great service and fantastic food, Chorizo hash was blob on! Another top tier Norwich establishment!

Quaint little cafe on the corner, niced and chilled atmosphere, with plenty of seating indoors and outside. On street parking is also free in and around the area. Extremely clean throughout, excellent service from all of the staff especially the lady that served us. Big breakfast was exquisit. Will 100% be back for more.

Can not fault this place, from the friendliness of the staff to the quality of the food and coffee!

It had been on my list of places to visit for about a year... Finally got there, well worth it. Relaxed place in a nice neighborhood area, outdoor seating with parasols, indoor is light and airy. Good choice of breakfast options (I'll be going back for the French toast next!) - fry up was delicious, and the black pudding was the best I've had in a while. Friendly place, lady came in with her dog and they gave it a bowl of water, there's high chairs for little people, and a kids menu too.

Food was nice, service could be better. Waited 15 minutes to get out coffees and got our food order wrong. Shame as I'd wanted to visit for ages.

My girlfreind found out about this place through instagram and it most definatly lived up to the photos !! The food was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The place is beautifully decorated and a must visit if you are ever in the norwich area

Lush brunch - in a cute little cafe with cool decor in the quiet terraced streets of Norwich. Highly recommend a visit. Great veggie breakfast, and even a Keto breakfast option for those interested! Coffee was lovely too.

I had a delicious breakfast at this place with a surprisingly good cup of coffee! The Indonesian americano was a standout, with a unique hint of pineapple aroma and fermented note that really elevated the flavor. I do think it could benefit from being slightly more acidic to really make the flavors pop. Their espresso has a more chocolaty and nutty flavour to accommodate other coffee drinkers. The breakfast was excellent as well, with fresh and tasty ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and some unique coffee flavors! Oh! The wall decor looks nice too.

Great find, was doing a few jobs around Norwich and needed coffee, it would have been rude not to have some cake with it. both coffee and cake were first class, will happily return when I'm next in the neighbourhood.

What a find! Great wee place, popped in for a coffee after a long drive and couldn't resist this delicious looking sausage roll, which was, without doubt, one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the Connaught Kitchen, will definitely be returning next time I'm in town.

Lovely neighbourhoodl cafe. A small but tasty menu, great pastries, good coffee and other drinks. Breakfast with Crumpetorium ginger crumpets was decadent and delicious. The lunch salad is a really great salad. Occasionally they have pop-up dinners which are worth going to. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. It's lovely to have a place like this just around the corner.
