my girlfriend and I made for Beeston just to eat at this place. the best food around in my opinion.. hot, fresh and decent portions. when we visited 2 weeks ago we had to queue to get in... that's how popular it is. Great staff too. highly recommend this cafe.

Fair and reasonable price, good taste, feels like a family-run cafe, friendly staff, the environment is not particularly beautiful but clean and tidy, great atmosphere, many local residents gather here with friends for breakfast and brunch, everyone enjoys their meal with a happy mood. The decoration of the hot chocolate is beautiful and brings joy to people's hearts.

Very reasonably priced snacks/meals coffee & tea shop..... Consistently good food.....!! Toasties are soooo tasty........ I have cheese , onion, and tomato..........Yum..... You get a lovely bit of salad and coleslaw with it.....😁. And such friendly staff.....UPDATE:- since Covid happened they now have partitions between each set of 4 seats, still I feel safe, as they are a clean place anyway.....👍👍😷😷. Update:- They are now open for inside seating and dining...👍👍UPDATE:- 2/2/2022 - THEY ARE NOW FULLY OPEN WITH NO RESTRICTIONS.....It was very crowded in here today - But the food is always good....👍👍👍👍👍

Was recommended by the street cleaner so gave it a go and breakfast was nice with a coffee included in price which was reasonable. Also it was busy which tells its own story.

Visited Saturday 18th March 2023 early afternoon. It looks like a proper greasy spoon, the type seen in Only Fools and Horses; however, it's actually not greasy, in fact it's excellent. It seems incredibly popular, people were queuing to get in, although it seems to have a fairly quick turnaround. It's popularity is probably due to the exception value for money, portion sizes are large to say the least and whilst the quality of ingredients isn't exactly luxury it's absolutely delicious. Service was really quick with the staff being polite and friendly, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Beeston.

Wow what a brilliant little find this was. It's so hard nowadays to find a good all-round cafe, but here it is. The prices are really good, the quality is excellent and the coffee is brilliant! We've found our new favourite cafe. So much so we're likely to pop into Beeston again just for a quick breakfast here! The cafe is well maintained and clean, and the staff are friendly and approachable. The best cafe I've been to in a long long time.

Great place to eat, very reasonable prices with over generous helpings, always go for Breakfast or Brunch. Quite often call in for just coffee. Always hot and never just warm, this goes for the food too.

What a great place; dropped in here yesterday morning whilst passing through Nottingham. Friendly, efficient and prompt service. Just had a cooked breakfast and a mug of tea but everything was spot on: well cooked, fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices (amazingly the dishes looked like the photos on the comprehensive menu). One of the few cafes to be open early on a Saturday, obviously a motivated and hard working crew. I have no hesitation in recommending.

This is a place that had covid cleanliness standards before it had occurred and was the first restaurant/cafe I had the confidence to visit as lockdown eased. Unbelievable value for money, firm favourite with many regular visitors including myself.

Food was fantastic, thus was the food we would go into cafes for with our parents and grandparents. Breakfasts and dinners were amazing, portions are good sizes for the money and cooked fresh. Very clean and exceptionally friendly, also good value for money. Will always come back for food, plus I will be bring my parents next time even though i have to pay lol.
