Great quality coffee and the service is always excellent

I recently visited Yellow Wood Café with the intention of using their workspace, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. My friend and I paid £17 between us, as we were planning to work for a few hours, and the cafe requests you use the work space if you plan to work for more than an hour, and the workspace was advertised as offering individual tables, charging ports, good WiFi, a free drink, and access to water. While we did receive the free drink, we were directed to a single large communal table, there were no individual tables or charging ports as we were expecting. Additionally, there was no water provided, and the space felt quite warm, making it uncomfortable to stay for long. When we inquired with the staff about the setup, we were told that this was simply how it was today. We ended up leaving after only 15 minutes, as the workspace did not meet our expectations based on the description. While I believe this café could be a lovely place to visit, the workspace was unfortunately not worth the price. I hope the cafe considers adjusting the advertising to better reflect what is offered.

A very good place for a tasty meal, drinks and some quiet work on your phone or laptop.... Staff are very friendly and attentive....

The baristas here are good The croissants are good The coffee is good And the matcha latte is really good

What a lovely experience to visit Yellowwood Cafe..a warming bowl of soup, spicy lentil or broccoli and cheese on offer today.. And of course the best coffee for miles around!

I'm here every Thursday night to play board games. The cakes are exceptional, the service is friendly and the assortment of tea is boggling. It has a lovely garden in the back for when it's sunny too.

A peaceful little coffee shop with a small garden area at the back and work spaces upstairs. Very calm with friendly staff. Also dog-friendly. The drinks are good and the food is refreshing, simple and tasty. Good veggie/vegan options.

Really nice coffee shop with snack options. I've worked on my laptop in there and it's doable but annoyingly it's quite a popular cafe so people keep opening the door. They have study space upstairs too that you're able to book. Not tried upstairs yet, will update my review when I have. They also do lovely speciality lattes so you can have all your matcha, tumeric, beetroot etc vibes here 😎

A pleasant little cafe, clean, pleasant atmosphere…my only qualm would be that the place could do with more ventilation. There are no windows open and the place is encompassed by large amounts of glass on windows and doors..this is very good for viewing the world passing by outside, but in warmer months makes the place a bit of glass house…very stuffy….air circulation would put this higher on my star marking.

Such a cute coffee shop in Beeston! Really nice coffee and such a nice, cosy feel when you sit in.

Stopped off for a coffee, which was okay. Had a tray bake cake which was kept in fridge, probably because hot weather but cake did not taste freshly baked. Cafe itself a bit bland decorwise.

I walk past this place all the time, finally decided to go in I wish I went in way before as its a lovely place The coffee is on point and just peaceful! Keep up the great service! (I only had coffee so I can't judge the food)

They take a bit of time, but it's worth it. We didn't get food, but the food that is on display looks very appetising. Very nice view of the church and passing trams.

This was my first visit to yellow wood cafe. While I waited for my dog to be groomed I ordered a latte and followed it with a turmeric latte. The cafe was spotless, very friendly and welcoming. I felt totally at ease. 5 stars all the way. A big thank you

Oh I just love this place. The workspace upstairs is such incredible value, the people who work there are excellent and I still have dreams about the vanilla black tea I had there. I can’t wait to get back to Beeston to go here again. 10/10!

Very very noisy, needs some cushions on window seats and chairs to help combat the general noise.

Gluten free bread available (no extra cost). Great range of drinks for the same pricing as larger chains - please support this local business! Cute cafe supporting advertisement for the local community, I believe it had a room upstairs for group meetings too. Lovely garden which is shaded through the morning and gets sun through the afternoon.

A lovely coffee shop on Chilwell High Road, just a 4 minute walk from the centre of Beeston. My americano was lovely, and the welcome was warm and genuine. I can definitely recommend it. Payment available by both cash and card.

Lovely new corner café! I've seen them building the place up week by week while walking past, and you can tell a lot of thought and care was put in the details. The interior is streamlined, warm and serene. The cappuccino was proper, and the compostable cup and lid hold up very nicely. I wish them good luck with transitioning to their full menu, will be back to try it. edit, a few months down the line: I came back for the now sit-down service, and I must say it was excruciatingly slow - close to 15 minutes to get a coffee, with only two other customers sitting in. Needs improvement.

Great service, white hot chocolate & brownie. Lovely little garden area out the back too.

A delightful shop that feels light and modern. The seating seemed closer than necessary and the hot chocolate was little more expensive than expected. With this being said, the staff were lovely and the hot chocolate was one of the best I have ever had. The accompanying cake (pictured) was delicious and I love the idea of have a work space on the upper floors. A deal I hope to take full advantage of as a student.

Nice setting for a coffee and croissant, the almond croissant was light but I prefer more frangipane (personal taste).

Had a mushroom latte, quite milky, but I'm told less caffeine. Also a tasty flapjack. Started peaceful and quiet initially around.10 but soon got quite busy. Handy it was open on a Monday. Would return to try "proper coffee".

The best coffee I have had in Nottingham. Visited it the first week of their soft opening, and can definitely say the owner knows his coffee. Very reasonably priced, and exactly what Beeston needed. Can't wait for the full food menu and seating areas upstairs.

The coffee is fantastic and is reasonably priced. Chilled atmosphere and super friendly staff make the experience really enjoyable. Pretty much a perfect coffee shop to visit on a day out. It is nice to see independent businesses are flourishing around Beeston. Will have to drop by again when I’m next in the area.

Well made capaccino. Very nice friendly intelligent staff or owner. Clearly new business missing a full menu. The cake was very tasty. I will return when menu has breakfast items and update review.

What can I say, I missed being their first customer. I visited on the day of their opening and ordered a cappuccino to go. And what a cappuccino it was. I was chatting to the owner of the place while he was making my drink, he was very friendly. The interior is what I call 'reserved funky' - the café suits Beeston but would welcome to see more of these independent cafés nearer the town centre too. Will return.
