Came upon this place while staying at the Bowfield Hotel. We had a latte which was superb, and the ladies were very friendly.

Ordered a large latte to take away. Thought it felt light, turns out it was more that half froth, what coffee there was at the bottom was tepid and undrinkable, I had to pour down the drain.

The food is really average. The staff and service is very good but the food was let it down. Prices are reasonable but there’s better close by.

Now I get why the franchise is going broke.... I'm a recent celiac, which sucks and I never announce it when I order because I can read. I just wanted a simple steak while out with my wife. I don't want to cause a fuss... No Steak is the first thing we are told as I order on a Saturday night, about 20 mins after we have ordered our drinks... that still haven't arrived. I'm told just "Get the ribs and to Get the premium ones for "more meat" but they are more expansive". They showed up folded in 2 with just bones as garnish, without the slightest hint of any flavour and what I can only describe as overcooked and flavourless. What the hell happened. Our server would rather uncomfortably sit on my chair, acting like I've known her for years. TGi's is now exactly where it should be, in the frozen isle of the range/iceland, hoping people don't have tastebuds. You're welcome to my £88 for 2 mains and 2 "cocktails" that was our only choice. PS. I ordered the chilli and garlic shrimp as a side "just in-case". 4 of 3 where left on the plate, defrosting "shrimp" and covering them in olive oil is not something anyone wants to eat, yet alone pay £10 for. Thanks TGI's, remember when you made decent food.
