Coffee at the Dock in Coleraine

Lovely food and experience. Sad to see it change

This is one of the best cafes in Coleraine. Right on the edge of the river. Staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Try to go on a dry day and sit outside. More than just coffee, pizza and burgers available as well.

A lovely spot beside the river to just chill & catch up with a friend & lovely coffee ☕️ too! All types of milks offered which was excellent as dairy free. Friendly welcoming staff and its very doggy friendly. 🐕

Food and location are very good. I just wish their coffee was stronger. Also wish they would wash their hands when directly handling food after touching money. Young guy also scratch his privates before serving me ice-cream. Has to quickly tell him I wanted it in a tub as I did not want to eat a cone that's contaminated with germs from money he handled without washing hands of wearing gloves and the hands that were on his private parts. Gross

There can be a little bit of a wait when getting served at Coffee at the Dock but the staff are lovely and on a dry day the views of the river are fantastic. It’s incredibly peaceful and relaxing sitting having a coffee while observing the river flowing past and watching the local wildlife. While parking can be limited on a weekend at the location there are plenty of spaces nearby with the Dock area and Somerset Forest less than a stones throw away. Would definitely recommend.

An unusual set up on the edge of the River Bann with a selection of picnic tables and summer seats. On the site it has different add ons, burger van, pizza hut, also has a little room to the side if with a group for example. This wee place started off with a wee caravan and has grown so much since it's opening possibly around the pandemic time 🤔

Food is second to none. The staff are always very friendly. It's such a lovely relaxing place to sit and watch the world go by. Helps that it is also dog friendly. Would definitely recommend 👌

Sat outside surrounded by river and beautiful views. Staff very pleasant and tea and chocolate brownie recommended. Dog friendly and a great place especially on a dry day to spend a hour or two and there is a walkway nearby .

I met friends here for coffee and a bite to eat. The cafe is in a wonderful location, with lots of parking at Somerset Riverside Park, with a walk through the trees to the cafe. It is very well set ip with a garden atmosphere, and plenty of seating. My bacon and sausage butty was warm and delicious, as was my latte.

Nice coffee, had soya milk which is always a bonus. Lovely seating area outside on the water. Minor - the coffee was very hot, but I understand this to be a thing in N.I!

Such a great place. Stunning pizza, juicy huge burgers, all of the food we've ordered there's absolutely nothing you can complain about. Also the atmosphere is like at home. Deffinitely adding this place to my routine

Our party had the burgers and raved about them being really, really, really good. The loaded chips were massive and tasty. Will be back.

Beutifull venue, sat outside on river bank with our dogs, superb hot fresh food and coffee served by friendly efficient staff

Had walked a bit too far so was so glad to sit and rest indoors on a comfy sofa. My coffee was excellent, made to my liking ( I requested just one shot of espresso in my Americano). The coffee shop and toilet were very clean, no hot water but I still this it rates 5 stars.

Today, Sunday, December 31, we went for a walk and had coffee early in the morning. The service was very warm and friendly, the coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and the landscape was beautiful. I recommend it 100%.

Beautiful place to visit. The coffee is a spectacle, the hot chocolate for the kids is great, it comes with cream and marshmallows, they love it! The views are wonderful, to spend time with family and friends. Very good staff attention! If you want a relaxing time, it is the ideal place!

Nicest caramel ice lattè in town! And to say the make the nicest cookie pies would be an understatement. Absolutely delicious

Great dog-friendly place for a cuppa in tranquil surroundings. Plenty of outdoor seating for sunny days, and indoor seating for not-such-sunny days.

One of my favourite spots around the north coast. Brilliant coffees, hot chocolates, traybakes & food! The team provides first class friendly service. Definitely recommend this peaceful coffee dock😍

Tried here because Fidelas was closed. The worst coffee I've had in a long time. Bitter with burnt milk.. Place was crawling with wasps coming from the bins. Not enjoyable at all unfortunately. Dumped our two coffees and left.

Had a dirty chai and it was delicious! They did have a gluten free option for a bun, though I wasn't hungry.

A happy pet friendly place with terrific good options from great burgers to pizza or divine cake and coffee.

I love this place its quiet and full at the same time. Great for coffee.

Lovely area. I also noticed has option to bring your own alcohol! We'll be back with beers for our fresh pizzas.

Great setting by the River Bann. Burger Dock has good choice at reasonable prices. My pepper burger with chips was excellent. They even brought some water for my dog and offered treats. My only quibble was that it took over half an hour for my meal to arrive, although in such a lovely setting that wasn’t too much of a hardship

Good coffee and traybakes. Lovely setting at the river edge on such a beautiful day. Tables inside incase the weather not so good. Plenty of parking spaces. Toilets could do with an upgrade and outside surfaces difficult for disabled people. Other than that I would stop there again

When the sun is out (or at least threatening too, Coffee at the Dock and the attached Pizza and Burger pods are a fanatic place to stop. Today we shared a portion of chips from burger van, a pizza from the pizza station and got some drinks from the coffee shop. We say on the incredibly sturdy outdoor furniture and watched the river flow, dogs and children playing and just generally relaxing.

From the carpark to the food arena it came across as tame and Easy access , however had I off been of a restricted personal I couldn't of manage as there was a solid platform that soon Changed to loose gravel and stepping stones .... tut Tut ! the main seated area only appeared for able body ppl, nothing had Wheelchair or restricted access , Again same to can be said for the W.C it was a mixed/shared single toilet with no window for light or ventilation..... on the plus side the near Waterside provided a relaxing ambient setting and the Aroma of pizza & other cooked foods

Scalding hot coffee so no idea how it tasted as had burnt tongue with first sip. Strange set up, haphazard layout and design, could be a nice place with a bit of money spent to make it look like a more permanent location.

Ordered coffee which was practically a full cup of froth!! Asked the young girl to fill it up with hot milk and her attitude was terrible. Just gave me a dirty look and said that's the way it is!! She made us another coffee but it was exactly the same. Quater cup of coffee and the rest froth!! Extremely rude member of staff!

What a peaceful place to watch time go by eating good food. Friends just moved into the area and I just stumbled on a true Gem on the Bann. Will be back again and again. You have unknowingly welcomed a customer for life (with my wee dog) .....oh thanks for the wee doggy treats

Great value for money and great food. Lovely views of the river and an outdoor mud kitchen for the kids. Only criticism is there's 1 toilet which you access from outside and there's no warm water to wash your hands with.

I went on a horrible, wet wintery Saturday morning, so there wasn't really much atmosphere but I've given it 5 stars as that is out of their control and the staff were very friendly. It was a bit of a long wait given they weren't busy so I deducted 1 star off the service which I think is more than fair. Good food, would certainly go back, and would love to see the place on a nice day, I bet it's a hive of activity then

Stopped in for the first time today. Lovely setting right beside the Bann. Reasonable prices and FINALLY, good coffee! We had the coffee and sweets but we'll go back for pizza and again for the burgers. Yes, can't wait to go back. Outdoor and indoor seating. Clean. Dog friendly. Washrooms. Great!

The pizzas are the best you'll get on the North Coast. I recommend that you grab a take away coffee and a walk along the river. Then top it off with a pizza while enjoying the view of the River Bann. A lovely treat on a Sunday.

Good strong coffee (flat white). The shortbread I ate were undercooked, soft and doughy. The area itself is beautiful, the seating facing the river makes it relaxing and tranquil.

Gluten free pizza, out of this world. Proper pizza base, none of those rock hard already partially cooked bases that you get in other pizza places, with gorgeous toppings. 100% recommended. Definitely coming back.

Excellent choice of food. Reasonably priced and the perfect place to eat outside this time of year. Lots of picnic tables and your sitting right beside the beautiful River Bann.

Nice coffee, quirky, fun set up with the different vans. It is outdoor seating so only for good weather. Very dog and kid friendly. (Toys for kids and treats for dogs) lovely views. When weather is good I want to go back there.

Lovely place for the good weather. Outdoor seating right at the edge of the river Bann. Quiet, peaceful and plenty of space - great to bring the dog. If you love bird watching or want to see the rowers, grab a coffee and chill out for a while. Food is served from a couple of stalls and a trailer situated in the end barn. Food is good, generous and coffee is hot, sure what more could you ask for. Walk from the town all along the tow path out to the Salmon Leap, rest for a while at the Dock and dander back to the town. Or, head out in the car - there's enough parking available.

Strange experience having to decide what you think your purchase is worth, think a suggested donation would be a great help. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful, I only had a drink but my friend enjoyed a coffee and a cake.
