Coal City Restaurant in Enfield

Coal City Restaurant ha sido mi lugar favorito para la comida africana desde 2020. Lamentablemente noto que la calidad y las porciones de los alimentos han disminuido con los años, y los precios han aumentado enormemente. Entiendo que la situación económica actual está pasando factura a todos, pero me está resultando difícil pagar mucho más por porciones tan pequeñas. Nota: Solo para dar un ejemplo de lo mucho que mi familia “ama” sus platos - nos mudamos de Edmonton en 2018 y TODAVÍA pedimos comida en las visitas a la zona. Alternativamente llamamos por teléfono y nos recogemos.

I don't normally like to leave a bad review but I'm hoping the restaurant can learn and improve things, this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! We were a table of 20 but it was like the waiting staff didn't even know we were there, we waited over 2 hours from getting there till we got our food during which time the waiting staff seemed totally disorientated not knowing what food was what and who had ordered what, the music was so loud nobody could hear anything anyway, when we finally got our food after several people going into the kitchen and chasing for it it was barely edible and cost £15 for a small plate of jollof rice beef and plantain. If we hadn't been a large party I would have left without paying out of principle. I'm really sorry to be so scathing in my review but it really was this bad and I hope the restaurant can learn from constructive criticism.

Well done to the team for a good buffet which also contains dishes for all. The evening was agreable and the buffet kept on coming just the way it should . Well done all we will be back
