Clementine in Belfast

Have been going here ever since I was a kid staying with my granny nearby. Now living in newtownards, and this Chinese is still my choice. Have to have had from here at least 300 times. Has never ever missed.

Usually love this place but ordered tonight 21/09/24 and it was vile. Took over an hr to come . Chicken was dry . Prawn crackers were stale and salt and chilli chicken was pure salt. Inedible. Won't use again. 🤮

Had a takeaway from here Nothing special but not the worst

WaS just in the restaurant.22/9/2023 to get chips n gravy and witnessed a fella spitt into the water they use to clean the woc,s I'm afraid to say I'll never be back near the place I'm glad I hadn't ordered any food I have thrown up in the shop

Average curry sauce, fragrant taste but not spicy.

Had a few good meals out off here recently but tonight's was terrible a waste off £27 the curry was disgusting so thick and far to hot ,the salt chilli chicken was terrible overcooked and dried out really dissapointed was so looking forward to a nice weekend treat

Waiting over an hour on delivery even though I was told that it was around the corner. Won't be ordering again because after wwaiting70 minutes on delivery the person taking orders wouldn't answer the phone to me. AVOID

This is my Chinese of choice when I'm in Belfast, the food is brilliant and I am always happy with what I get and how fresh/tasty everything is. The staff are great too and you never wait long for food. Even delivery is some of the fastest I've ever seen. Great Chinese 10/10 recommend.

Stay FAR AWAY from this place! Cant get an order right once, nor twice.. Wasn’t offered a refund was told that’s not how they work.

I've went through every Chinese on the shankill road and landed on this one. It's easily the best Chinese on the road

Used to be a great takeaway, but recently our orders have been really late or wrong. Then having to wait another hour for them to send the missing order.

Order at least twice a week from this place & have ate my way through most of the menu but has been becoming more & more inconsistant of late. Fried beef sometimes, other times boiled like jelly! Stodgy undercooked batter more often than not on the chicken balls, sauce & fried rice sometimes drowned in sauce, other times barley a spoonful! Food never really roasting, just warm. Id have rated this place before 9/10 but now days about 4/10. Like most others, I have to agree that staff lack manners but unlike some I personally find the chinese young girl the worst. She will ignore you when you come in to collect your order if she is gossiping to someone and they dont seem to mind overcrowding the shop with non facemask wearing customers either.

Phoned and placed an order at 540 then I had to phone back at 630 to see where it was to be told it was on its way then had to phone back 10 mins later to see where it was again. Was not happy as I live like 7 mins away from the Chinese and it took them an hour and 20 mins and still did not have my order ended up cancelling my order and going elsewhere this was my first time ordering here and my last. I do not recommend this place unless you don't mind waiting long time for your food.

Do all the basics, but noticeably better than other Chinese takeaways

The counter girl known as Tracy is a complete and utter disgusting person. She's zero manners for costumers and the owner should be ashamed of themselves for keeping her as counter staff. She's rude, file and acts as if she owns the place. The owner needs to fire her ASAP! She needs a serious reality check including someone to tell her to grow up dying her hair like the young one's do. The food can be lovely apart from when they don't clean their pans etc right, but despite that the food is still nice. They need to get rid of that counter girl and get someone who is actually nice to costumers.

Nice takeaway food and reasonably priced. I personally reccomend the crispy chicken in Chilli&Wine sauce 👌

The girl on the counter with pink hair seriously needs a reality check. She's rude, blunt and on the phone has zero manners. I used to use this place as a treat because of how good the food tasted. However, now I will never use it because that girl is nothing but a joke! She should be fired. She acts like she's the boss when she's nothing but a disgrace.

Disgusting news of this business going round fb, my friend tried ordering a delivery and they asked what side was she on in the area (catholic or prod) upon saying where they declined to deliver there. SHOCKING DISCRIMINATION based on where she lives (shes prod btw not that it should matter). Quite frankly its disgraceful and rude. Its attitudes like this that keep a country moving back instead of going forwards. If you cant hack running a business fairly without discrimination then yous should reconsider your location or your staff attitude. Im surprised yous havent been reported for this yet. If it were me id have plastered yous over the local newspapers behaving like that.

Food is nice and well prepared would normally order for collection, when i did order for delivery, waited an hour before ringing to query and be told it left over 15 minutes ago and it should of arrived, i rang to cancel shortly after and they still sent it, arrived about 2 hours after it was ordered food was still warm checked it first and paid but wouldnt use delivery again after that shambles.

I love this Chinese and the salted chilli chicken is amazing but it is way too spicy than it needs to be. Also I just ordered a meal with a tub of barbecue sauce and the barbecue sauce was spilled all over the bag.

i love there food but tonight they got part of my order wrong so i rang them and she said she would send the right order up to me that was an hour and a half ago i thought i was a good costumer ive bin using this place from it opened but i wont be using ot again thats for sure

Refused to deliver to sunningdale, usually walk in to get a take away, won't be back , absolutely shocking saying no to deliver, and the lass on the phone was the most ignorant and cheeky person I've had on the phone, terrible service , so disappointed

The girl that takes the orders is a disgrace, very impatient and ignorant. Definitely won't be ordering from here ever again.
