They advertise Guinness draught at £5 on their screen then charge £6. This place has gone downhill what a disappointment it used to be great

Really shocked how poor this place is. It use to be a lovely place to visit. The toilets need an upgrade and I always think the facilities and what is accepted is a big reflection on the place itself. They have no system when it comes to food orders. No numbers etc. They just shout out and the first person that claims the meal is given it. Leaving us sat watching people who had ordered way after us eat what I can only assume was our order. When asked where our food was after waiting an hour and half of our table having finished their meals!! We were made to feel that we were the ones out of order for daring to ask the question. The customer service is poor and the lack of system leads to chaos. I will not be hurrying back.

Placed order,got drinks within 5 mins. 45mins later asked where food was as table next to us who came in 20 mins after us got their food...., to be told the lad took the order through to the kitchen so it will be 5 mins. 10 mins later we asked for a refund. They said the lad forgot to take our order through. They refunded the absent food, but not the drinks. No apology. Now at the Signal box in with food served in under 19 mins and it's busy. Appalling experience and feel they should not have charged for the drinks

Don't seem to want any further business as the large area was closed at lunchtime and as soon as we sat down to meet the rest of our party, a reserved in an hour notice was placed on the table with no offer of alternative seating. Obviously a place for "locals" holds lots of promise, but not for daytrippers.

I would urge anyone to avoid this place. They do not give refunds regardless of circumstance, poor food or misplaced order. They expect you to contact the owner who refunds 'at his discretion'.
