Ido con amigos adinerados a Aspers Casino Stratford. Ordene Chicken BIryani vino con ARROZ DE GRANO LARGO con tazón de prisioneros sin chutney, yogurt, Poppadum o cualquier cosa. La primera vez que vi a Biryani cocinado con arroz de grano largo sin poppadum, chutney, yogurt o Pickle cobrando dinero considerable del menú de basura. No sé cómo todas las personas del casino toleran el tipo de comida basura en el lugar prestigioso de Westfield.

Pedimos vino, vino a la mesa y estaba caliente, pedimos una botella fría con el servidor pidiéndonos que dejáramos el vino sin abrir en el cubo de hielo durante 10 minutos cuando se enfrió. El gerente fue convocado en esta etapa, quien rápidamente cambió el vino por una botella fría. Pedimos entrantes simples, músculos y calamares. Tardaron más de una hora en llegar y los calamares estaban realmente fríos y secos. Esto fue cambiado eventualmente. Ambos pedimos bistec, pedimos que esto fuera de azul a raro. Un filete estaba bien hecho y arruinado y el otro era medio raro pero no había sido sazonado. Disfrutamos tanto el servicio y la comida que visitamos el sábado por la noche y volvimos al día siguiente para comer nuevamente y una vez más recibimos un servicio brillante y una comida deliciosa.

La presentación y la calidad de la comida no eran buenas, ¿había que pedir cubiertos para comer? Los entrantes no eran buenos ni tampoco los platos principales, nos fuimos antes de la temporada posterior, ya que habíamos estado allí por dos horas y me estaba volviendo tedioso. Diría que había un bocado rápido en otro lugar, ya que el servicio era horrible, lamentablemente.

First off, have to say the food was good and it wouldn’t be at all fair to those guys in the kitchen if you got the impression that the rating was down to them, it isn’t. Nor is it really the fault of the single-handed newly recruited waitress. But after a few trips here, three this week (not that regular custom is recognised here btw), I’ve finally worked it out. What’s the core problem here? It’s management, or lack of, rather. Well, I say lack of, there’s so much management in here currently it looks like the staff canteen. Five at last count, all huddled around a table, right in the middle of the place, stuffing their faces with free coffee and curry. During their huddle, customers have been shouting for service; I've been waiting for a redone bill and foods been waiting on the pass for 10 minutes. Why? Well, there’s only one waitress (one’s not turned in). So what do the managers do? Keep an eye out for customers? Jump up and help? Do they heck. The poor waitress doesn’t know if she’s coming or going and I imagine her training/familiarisation was non-existent too, as evidenced in previous reviews. It seems in here that unless you’re spending thousands on the tables, then you’re the scum of the earth. Overreacting? All the MD has to do is ask customers how they feel and just sit down and watch this car crash happen every day. Then they’d know first hand.

I haven’t eaten here since October, but here I am, having received a number of assurances from senior management over the past few months that things in the restaurant would be turned round. The menu is new. In my view it’s not as good as the previous one. It lacks British dishes and tried and tested favourites. So what’s improved? Well, there at least was a warm welcome on arrival and a choice of seating. It’s 85% empty, as usual about this time (8pm) so a nice quiet seat in the corner it was! The food was acceptable, I enjoyed it, despite the fish and chips being a now sadly common example of form over function. Luminous ‘mushy’ peas (southerners you have much to learn!), tartare sauce and fries all in their individual pots, all crammed with the fish onto a much too small rectangular plate. Dinner meets Crystal Maze. I sensed the staff hadn’t advanced far enough in the intervening months since my last visit. They remain much too distracted talking to each other which is time not spent looking at diners waiting for cues. Don’t get me wrong, it was better, but still crying out for a senior hand on deck to mentor the much less experienced. Of course, it seems no one from Aspers actually reads these things, so perhaps I’m wasting my time. It’s cathartic at least.

So I went back the day after, having had a moderate experience the night before (see previous review). Big mistake. Painfully slow and poor service again. The veg I ordered with my main didn’t arrive. So there I was with a quickly cooling single piece of salmon on my plate. Yes, just salmon. I tried to alert a waiter, but to no avail. So I ate the salmon. Ten mins later I was able to flag down a waiter who came to collect the plate. I mentioned the lack of veg, she then asked if I wanted it. Really??!! Just a bowl of veg?? I mentioned that I didn’t expect the meal to be on the bill when it came. But guess what, not only was it on there, but the veg was on there too! A total lack of any professionalism or pride. Avoid at all costs.

This was a last minute plan for me and my partner. We didnt really like the place. The food i had didnt have any taste to it. It was just plain pork belly. The service we even had asnt even the greatest. The waitress drop something on my partners food and smiled at us for dropping it and walked away. Ive never seen such a bad managed restaurant. Im a foodie but this place i wont recommend

Clearly something has happened in the month since I last ate here. There seem to be new staff around. I was pleasantly shown to a table; welcomed and shown the menu. Nice chat about choices available and staff generally seemed more attentive as I watched on. The food was good and I was asked how both my starter and main course were! A first! There’s still room for improvement - for example - please ask your staff to observe each table at least once every five minutes - this will avoid finished plates sitting unwelcomely and ensure people don’t feel ignored if they need service. Still watching managers stuffing their faces - go somewhere else please. So, much better than the one star from last time. Let’s hope it’s not a fluke.

I’ve eaten here a few times (purely for convenience) and each time it’s the same. Terrible service. It’s abundantly clear that none of the staff have been properly trained, if they’ve been trained at all. Waiting staff huddle chatting at the pass or the till, so it’s really difficult to get noticed. I’ve never once been asked how my meal was. And I doubt anyone actually gives a toss. On the rare occasion the waiting staff attend your table (it’s been 24 mins and still no one has collected by finished plate) they can’t wait to get away. Shows a complete lack of confidence and attentiveness (presumably through lack of training). If there is a manager here then he or she is purely nominal. I’ve seen a few people in suits and Aspers badges but they’ve been too busy stuffing their faces at other tables to even acknowledge my presence or support a member of their team. If there is a manager I’d lay a few quid on them not being properly trained or experienced in hospitality themselves. They can’t be. There’s seemingly no ownership or pride here. It’s a shame as usually the food is OK. Now I’ve been passed the dessert menu in a fleeting pass-by. No recommendations, no interaction. Genuinely, I feel a total inconvenience to people here. That’s perhaps why it’s empty - as usual. 10 mins and counting since I received the menu, who knows how long it will be now...

Four of us ate in this establishment last night. It is possibly one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. The service was truly something else. Slow, rude, indifferent ... I ordered scallops, which were under cooked to the point of being cold and raw. In my experience, these are ordinarily served golden brown on the outside. The ones I was given were anemic and raw. The waitress took my plate back to the kitchen, but not before trying to tell me that they were cold as the sauce they were served with was cold. She returned a short while later, pretty much slammed the plate down in front of me, saying "the chef said this is how they are meant to be, he has heated them up for you though" The main course. My husband had chips, some were piping hot, some were stone cold, the vegetables were so under cooked it was impossible to cut into them. There is al dente and raw, these were still raw. My fish was overcooked - perhaps the chef trying to make a point? The rice was so overcooked it was stuck together in clumps. We did not bother to complain having already seen how complaints were dealt with, none of us were feeling particularly brave. Whilst I was still eating the waitress started clearing the table and was a little miffed when we asked her to stop as I was still actually eating. We were then left for another 30 minutes, until we requested the bill. This took another 10 minutes to arrive and another 10 to get somebodies attention to actually pay it - the restaurant was NOT busy. A truly awful experience, one not to be repeated. Very overpriced for what you get.

We had a table reserved on 9th June 2018 for 8.30 p.m. with the complements of the establishment; Gary W, the restaurant manager arranged this for us. There were four of us (there should have been five, but one had a bad toothache, so couldn’t make it). The moment we got there we were directed to our table with a lot of respect. Nice atmosphere and very private considering it is in the casino. We were very pleasantly surprised as we were not sure what to expect. Drinks: Italian Beer, Vodka and orange, Zinfandel Rose and Pinot Grigeo Rose. Our starters: Courgette houmus (v), Smoked trout with salmon caviar, tomato soup (soup of the day) and Poached scallops with watermelon and tomato gazpacho. We all enjoyed the starters very much. Very tasty and well presented. The only thing that could be improved is the tomato soup (take out the cabbage) Mains: Mushroom Bourguignon Pasta (V)*, Vegetable Ramen (Ve), Pan fried salmon and slow cooked beer and honey glazed pork belly and we had side orders of sweet potato chips and edamame beans. The presentation was very good. Couldn’t fault it. Very tasty food; both the vegetarian and vegan dishes were thoughtfully prepared. The portions are very generous and I wasn’t able to finish the vegan Ramen noodles as I was just too full up. Dessert: Only two people had desserts as we just couldn’t eat anymore. One on my friend’s said that the Prosecco Elderflower Jelly was to die for (I would have had it but it wasn’t sure if it was vegetarian. Another friend said the vanilla ice cream (vegetarian) was very nice too. After the lovely meal we spent time at the bar and the casino. We all had a brilliant time and will certainly be doing it again. A very reasonable place (both the restaurant and the casino)! Take visiting friends and relatives there. Thank you Gary!

I've been eating at this restaurant since its grand opening. The restaurant has always had a wide selection of cuisines and cooked to perfection. I am utterly disappointed to see that the menu has been changed and not for the better, I had to send my ramen back as it was bland. Sesame chicken with no sesame seeds and no fried rice on the menu?! Who's idea was it to remove the butterfly prawns???!!! To top it off the price has been hiked up and does not fit the quality of food and the menu selection. Throw the whole menu away and get that old thing back which has worked for many years. I will return when you have reinstated real quality food back to Clark's. Where is the prawns? We need the d@*m prawns?!!!

Me sorprenden algunos de los comentarios en tripadvisor. Nos saludaron y nos dieron la opción de mesas donde quieres sentarte. Nuestra camarera Zsofia fue muy atento, igual que el resto de personal educado que nos atendió. La comida era excelente y tenía un buen surtido variado de platos diferentes. Buen ambiente, lejos de la locura y el ruido del casino. Esperamos volver pronto.

Me han su calle 1 Julio con amigos para cenar. Pedimos alitas buffalo y fichas para arranque. Comida llegó a tiempo pero en vez de alas nos sirvieron alas mini barbacoa. Pido a la camarera es que buffalo wings? Ella dijo sí, esta es nuestra Alas de Búfalo. Quería reunirse con director, pero él estaba tan ocupado. Entonces nos pagamos y dejar ese lugar. No quiero volver de nuevo.

The Sunday Roast for £5.00 at Clary's Restaurant in the Casino seemed like a very good deal, but did have my reservations on the quality and portion sizes, but thought I would give it a go. On arrival, my son decided not to bring ID with him, so was immediately refused entry, but after some persuasion, the door man let my 22 year son into the venue. You must be over 18 to enter the Casino, even if you are going to the restaurant. They said if you look under 25, they will automatically ask for ID. No ID, no entry!We were seated fairly quickly but it took the waitress a while to come back to us for our order, in fact it was a different waitress who came back to us. The place wasn't full, so didn't know why we waited so long to be served. We went for the deal of £5.00 for a Sunday roast. You had the choice of beef, lamb, turkey or nut loaf for veggies. You also had a Yorkshire pud, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, pigs in blanket and roast potatoes. Lots of variety so thought I may be in for a treat. Food arrived promptly and the potion size did surprise me. You got 3 good size pieces of your chosen meat. I had the lamb, which was moist. My husband had the beef which he said was tough (overcooked). You got a good portion of carrots, broccoli and cabbage. The Yorkshire pud was large and we asked for extra, which no extra charge. The gravy was good. The meal needed it. Roast potatoes, tasted like they came out of a frozen bag from Iceland. They were definitely not freshly cooked. The stuffing ball was made out of veg, which surprised me, however it lacked seasoning. My daughter had the nut-loaf which was ok ,but again lacked seasoning. She had to put a lot of salt and pepper on her food, which she doesn't normally. When she asked about the gravy accompaniment, they offered her the meat gravy...wrong choice. When she pointed out she was a veggie they offered her peppercorn or mushroom. She opted for the mushroom sauce. The sauce was a creamy white sauce and didn't taste of mushrooms at all. It looked and tasted like a pack mix sauce, like you buy in the supermarket because you are too lazy to make your own! It was actually disgusting. Overall, the the portion size was plentiful, but the meal lacked flavor. The meal is usually £9.95 but throughout September is was £5.00. When asked if this was a one off, they were thinking about extending it to the end of 2016. The service wasn't great. Once we had our food, we were asked if everything was ok, and that was it until we sat around waiting for our table to be cleared. We were basically amusing ourselves. The restaurant still wasn't that busy. Once our table was cleared, no one came back with the desert menu. Once we did get hold of the desert menu, again no one came by to take our order, we had to 'flag' someone to our table. We had decided not to have any now. The other thing to point out was soft drinks were £3.00 a pop. Our drinks came in a plastic bottle and we poured ourselves into glasses. The bottles were the same as those you get in any shop costing anything from £1.00 - £1.50. Wasn't impressed with the cost. Our dinner came to £41.00 for 5 of us including drinks and discretionary charge. Wouldn't pay more than that.We had a lot of laughs, which made our evening out more enjoyable, but without that, the meal would have been very boring in a restaurant that lacked atmosphere and character even with a casino right next door. Probably won't have this deal again, but might try the other items on the menu...they do a mixed of Chinese and Burgers, chips etc. Thankfully there are lots of other restaurants to try in Westfields.

Told to sit at an awkward place because all other tables were reserved; in fact, the whole place remained empty throughout the night. Half of the items on the menu weren't available. Service was non existent. Staff walked by intentionally facing the other way to avoid being asked for anything. Waited half an hour to ask for dessert menu. When a staff member did show up, decided best to pay up and leave.Prices standard middle of the range. Food was on par with microwave ready meal - taste, feel and presentation.Good points: place was empty so felt rather private. Deco was decent. Clean.

I booked this restaurant via opentable for a family birthday celebration. There were 15 people in my group, so we needed to ensure we would get seated together by booking in advance. I wrote about the grandparent birthday within the booking and had telephone contact with the restaurant before the meal. On arrival, we were told we could not be seated, as there were children in our group. The webpage for the casino clearly mentions that no one under 18 can play, but there is a SEPARATE webpage for Clary's Restaurant and there is NOWHERE on it that mentions this. It's not even mentioned within the opentable listing!. It's a simple thing to rectify but will they be bothered? This almost ruined our day. Luckily, a different restaurant nearby was able to seat us all together after a short wait. If their advertising doesn't mention who they exclude, it makes me wonder what else they will fail at. Lucky escape!

This has got to be one of the worst places I have ever eaten in. The waiter was friendly enough although his grasp of english was limited and it was almost empty (on a Saturday night) which is never a good sign. The food was service station quality at best. The wine was served in plastic glasses and what was left in the bottle was decanted into what looked like a specimen bottle - again plastic. There was a recent issue apparently so no glass is allowed anywhere in the restaurant or casino. Service was OK but the atmosphere was tacky and the Casino itself far worse. To be avoided.

I went there yesterday for dinner and the security guard immediately just said "no" to me. No explanation whatsoever. I offered to bring a passport. Security guard just kept saying "No". I asked why I might not go into the casino (and restaurant), and he said "Because I say who goes in there". I explained I go there semi frequently and have taken dates to the Sky bar at this venue, eaten at the restaurant... Security guard looked a bit sheepish and relented and I was allowed to have my dinner, but how uncomfortable and awkward to be stopped by a security guard, for no reason whatsoever. I have no idea what kind of door policy me being stopped was for - I have been in there maybe 20 times before without issue.The restaurant was alright. The staff have always been friendly in my experience and they were again last night. They have nice smiles and friendly courteous demeanors, but service levels are not that good - they delivered our starter to the wrong person, which just doesn't cut it for high class restaurants. For a mid to low restaurant like this, with prices to match (about £30 for the full meal), it was "ok".The whole casino leaves me with an uneasy feeling. I'm not sure what their door policy is - I have never been completely comfortable with the door people staring at me when I go in - they have a Casino as part of the site so I suppose that brings complex problems with it, but that's not my problem - I came for a restaurant and other nice places to dine don't have casino related "complications" with them.I would strongly advise giving this place a miss. It's like a truck stop for gamblers to not starve. London has many beautiful restaurants - go explore them and really, skip this one.

Absolute rubbish service...we waited 15 minutes with our empty starter plate in front of us while the waiters and waitresses messed around and chatted sometimes as many as 4 of them chatting at the till point with no regard for customers. We had to prompt the waitress to take our plates away. When we got our main we weren't asked how our meal was and we didn't receive the ketchup my partner asked for when we made the order. It then took us a further 10 minutes to get someone's attention to actually get the attention while the servers were busy walking around paying no attention to customers and chatting with each other. If service is important to you don't waste your time going there

Tonight, my wife and I took 2 friends out to dinner. We thought about a Michelin Star restaurant, but that would have been difficult, given that we did not know if we were going for certain and did not know the time our friends would arrive.In the event, we met them in the Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford.We took a chance and took them to Clary's Restaurant and it was excellent. The food was really good and though not cheap, neither was it very expensive.The service was exceptionally good.

I knew it was a cheap attitude when I saw writing on the back of the menu (should be plain white). If that was my restaurant I would check my menus were clean and not defaced.Cannot do a simple Kir Royal "we don't do cocktails", but you do serve everything in plastic! So red wine had - no cocktails I thought, maybe they were a nice restaurant - sadly no.No check back to check food ok throughout meal - all restaurants should do this, it's also useful to upsell drinks.Starter - the bread with the haloumi was dry, dipped in sauce it was passable & that sauce saved the starter. Sesame chicken was chewy, but ok vs an ok take away (not a good one).Starter plates moved aside on table when mains arrived. Well 1 main... And when the hot plate had cooled as it dried out the lamb & prawns my other half's steak with the 'rare' stick in it, that I had watched the server take in and out while he had a chat at the pass with is buddies, finally arrived.Still waiting on fresh cutlery...And our sweet potato fries... Had to ask for both and they go off with that knowledge, talk to each other... No return to apologise for the screw up. Cutlery moved from table next to us - should have selfserved us myself. Finally they arrived (they were ok at least). But I was half way through my main by then time wise.I asked to speak to the manager 'at the end of the meal'. I'm eating, she comes over. I repeat - 'end of meal'. I am not about to give a blow ny blow of staff training requirents to fix this whole thing while my food goes cold.Plates taken away - yes I ate 75% of my meal. May not do that again if I encounter such an awful experience & food. Anyway, I digress.So plates gone, no desserts thanks and bill please. Manager comes out of back room (lots of in & out there + chatter) and off she goes to wherever in the casino, not to talk to me. Shame as I don't often give bad reviews I try to be constructive in person.Bill in full is paid and we leave. We will never be back and unless management get a rocket up their backside in basic server training (going on a break was the excuse given to us - learn to handover then!) do not expect a decent level of service on a restaurant that was half empty.Word must be getting around if it's that empty on a Saturday night... Also teach your chef not to over cook bread or burn skewers, it's basic line cooking - you don't even need a quality chef.Awful. Don't waste your money ever in this restaurant. Birthday meal ruined - but it was that bad we had to laugh at such a joke of a place.

Went to Clarys in Aspers Westfields Stratford at 1am, so it wasn't very busy. We was allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. Ordered our drinks on arrival. Placed our order quite quickly but the server forgot what we ordered & had to come back & ask us again, which was quite difficult as my boyfriend was a bit worse for wear & couldn't remember what he ordered but I remembered that is was called 'hog' something! I had butterflied prawns with sweet chilli sauce as my starter & it was lovely, it was also quite filling so I didn't actually need the main that I had ordered. My boyfriend had the 'hog' thing, which was a pate with salad, a chutney & 3 pieces of a baguette. I think he loved it!Dinner arrived promptly, freshly cooked & very large. The only issue I had is that the ribs weren't succulent, they didn't fall off the bone & I had to carve it, it also could've done with some sauce on it. My boyfriend had a steak with new potatoes ect. Yet again, can't complain about the portion size. The only issue he had was that the steak knife was blunt & he couldn't cut his steak properly with it. He definately enjoyed it though.Cost £62. Paid & just chilled for an hour at the table. I think they wanted us to leave but we left when we was good & ready.I would eat here again if the rest of Westfields was closed, as there's so many cheaper & better quality food outlets in the mall.

I'm a big supporter of this restaursnt. I live locally and the service has always been polite, friendly, with a smile. The decor is pleasant and the distraction of the casino keeps the place pleasantly peaceful; an oasis of calm. However, what has happened to the menu? All the food is gone. You now have a choice of five fish dishes, steak, or a skewer of meat. Oh, I think you can get a burger too. That's literally it - check the menu online and see for yourself. The whole thing fits on one side of paper.This place really could be something but it seems it has lost it's way. It's the shell of a restaurant waiting for someone with passion to strike a match and get this place alight.I really hope management reads this and takes up the challenge. There's a lot of chain restaurants in the Westfield centre but nothing that stands out; nothing a bit extra special - and this place could be that. My fear is that casino management see it as a place for gamblers to grab a quick bite so they don't starve between rolls of the roulette wheel, and as such, they have given up on doing anything more than a basic menu here.

We have had lunch and dinner at Clary's many times since it opened in 2011. Irrespective of how busy the casino is (and it is almost always very busy!) the restaurant is never crowded or particularly busy.The menu offers a wide range of European/Chinese/Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. Service is always prompt and pleasant and generally the food is well-presented. The quality of the food is always high.Since it opened Clary's has offered a variety of special lunch deals, which were very good value. However, they do not currently have any special deals. They also used to be open for breakfast, but that seems to have stopped as well. Worth a visit if you are in the Westfield area. Certainly nicer and better value than any of the restaurants in the Westfield Centre's Food Court area.

My partner and I treated the in-laws to a meal here as something a bit different to do during a trip to London and we certainly weren't disappointed. the meal was delicious, served quickly and efficiently by very attentive staff and every dish was piping hot and extremely good. We ate duck and orange pate (a huge slab) with toasted bread, butterflied king prawns and breaded jalapenos with cheese (again a huge portion). The star of the main course was a ginormous rack and a half of babyrack ribs, whilst the fillet steak was of good quality and the grilled seabass with wilted spinach again a generous portion and tasted divine. apple pie and ice cream with chocolate sauce just about finished us off. If you are looking for a slightly different experience then this is great fun, we had a wander around the casino afterwards and watched the players (there is no membership policy and you are free to come in and have a browse around) and it also has great views across the Olympic Park and direct onto the stadium so ticked a lot of boxes for us. Will definitely be back!

My partner and I visited last week for lunch and had a great time. We primarily booked because we wanted to go to the casino after but were pleasantly surprised. We were seated quickly at a quiet table and were looked after by a lovely waitress. Ordered champagne which arrived quickly as did our food. We had the prawns and pate for starters, both were very tasty and good portion sizes. For the main we stuck with the chinese options as per the previous reviews (& also so we could share!) The food was very tasty and there was lots of it! we had the sweet & sour chicken and the thai green chicken curry, we also ordered a small vegetable chow mein. Too much food for two and I have had better but I still loved it and would probably order the same (or the burger) when I go back.Overall, we had a nice lunch and I would definitely go back and recommend - staff were lovely, food and drink very reasonably priced.

I had arranged to go to Clarys, with several business colleagues who had flown in from all over the world for any recent management meeting we had decided to stay in the holiday Inn Stratford city so they could see the Olympic Park. Clarys was in close proximity to the hotel and would also give them a chance to use the casino if they wanted.We were seated by very pleasant staff who gave prompt service we all decided to order starters from the Chinese menu, unfortunately the softshell crab was not available, nevertheless we all ordered and enjoyed a fantastic selection. Six of us continued on the Chinese theme were very satisfied with the food provided. One colleague decided to order steak, medium well. When it was served on cutting mistake it was still bleeding it was returned to the kitchen and asked to be cooked further. Once again it was served and yes it was cooked slightly more but it was mooring of raw state and cook state, he decided to persevere and give it a go on cutting the butter Pat which was laid on top of the state the paper was still wrapped around it is been decided that it is demonstrably more. We were pleased that we didn’t have to pay for the steak, but do feel it would have been better with a little bit of effort to try and accommodate not a difficult requirement. Why selection at the restaurant was also very good and I would certainly recommend the Argentinian Malbec.I wish we had all stuck to the Chinese menu weaned then would all had a fantastic time, just let down by this one mistake to the edge of the evening and am meeting.I probably would go back but not on business.

Fancied a bite to eat on a busy bank holiday. It was fairly empty, everywhere else was busy so we went in. It was a Chinese predominately menu, ordered the mixed platter as a starter, very disappointing £8 for two tiny spring rolls, 2 triangles of prawn toast, 2 prawns and some over fried shredded chicken. Very bland. Not worth the price at all. Main course we ordered sweet and sour chicken and kung pao chicken with steamed rice. The rice was sticky and not very hot, Kung pao bland, I ate the chillies to give some flavour! Swet and sour looked very sticky and brightly coloured looked lie it came out of a jar, considering it was cooked to order. All in all a waste of time and wouldn't rommend at all?

I have read a number of bad reviews on this restaurant, but I must say that my experience was completely the opposite. Perhaps it was because I went in with low expectations, but I was really impressed and pleasantly surprised.I went one evening at the start of January. The casino was busy, and so was the restaurant. I chose some Chinese food, and my friend had a burger. Both meals (including the starters) were delicious - good portion size and cooked very well. Service was excellent and we had to send compliments to the chef, which we rarely do!I eat out a lot, and must say that this was one of the nicest experiences I have had in a long while.

To keep it simple, the food is nice if somewhat overpriced given the quality. However, considering its location, that's not a huge problem. THE problem was the incompetent and rude service. After turning up and finding ourselves the only customers we were promptly served. So far so good. 45 minutes later through, and all that had turned up were the starters, one of which we had not ordered. They also failed to bring water for the table for 30 minutes, and, when they did, did not bring enough for everyone. Bizarre. After we had finished we were left sitting for another 30 minutes before we got the bill (despite the availability of staff to apparently just chat to other customers and send out a steady stream of orders to the casino floor), which again had mistakes on. No apologies were forthcoming from the staff, but they did give us 30% off the bill. We could have got more off, but we just wanted out by that point. Such a shame, as there was no need for it to have been quite so shambolic. Do not eat here!

I really enjoy the bar at the casino, and spend quite a lot of time going out in there. However, I was mortified that I recommended for my friends to meet me at the restaurant, after the horrific service we got. We began as the only people in there and although a short wait for service, it seemed to be ok. The waitress took our order in a timely fashion. There was a short delay on our starters and we got the wrong order, but it began to get worse. After waiting 40mins for our main course we asked...no apology and no real answer. Another 15minutes dragged on and our actual starters came out! Very tasty, but the service was terrible. Still no apology! We finally after an hour got our main courses, after everyone around us, who we were there before, had finished and paid. Then we sat for 20minutes before our plates were cleared! Still no apology. The manager didn't seem to care. It wasn't until we pointed it out to a waiter that we got an apology. We got discount on the meal after asking for one! But the bill had meals that we did not eat on it! Before another wait for the bill, still no apology from the manager we paid and quickly left! No hope of us returning!

Went there for lunch after a long stroll through the Mall at The Westfields Shopping Centre.Really nice food, quick and friendly service in a relaxed environment, also opens till late (am) as it is inside the Casino.Serves English, Indian, and Chinese food, I ordered a rack of Barbecue ribs, awesome!!!! and my partner ordered Chinese fried rice and Cashew Satay chicken.Good cooked food.Keep up the good work Chef!!!!!

I have eaten at this restaurant several times recently. Being not too crowded it has been ideal for lunch with business contacts. There is plenty of space between the tables! The food and wine selection is perfectly good and service staff attentive. I shall be going again!

Terrible lugar Fuimos con un grupo grande, unos 30 de nosotros, para una hora feliz después de la oficina un viernes. Esperé años para tomar bebidas cada vez. . . Parece que la estrategia es servirle despacio para que las horas felices terminen rápidamente. . . La primera bebida fue una pinta de Peroni, la cerveza estaba rancia y tenía un sabor desagradable. . . Cuando me quejé con el barman, cambió por otro Peroni. . . Lo que también estaba rancio. . . Claramente necesitaba cambiar el barril, varios de mis compañeros lo intentaron y se lo dijimos nuevamente. . . Pero él se negó y siguió sirviéndolo. Cambiamos bebidas y seguimos. . . Luego, más tarde en la noche, un camarero diferente echó a perder una orden y causó confusión entre algunas personas en el bar, donde un chico afirmó que una chica había tomado su bebida, se produjo una discusión y un guardia de seguridad vino a echarnos. Toda nuestra fiesta pronto se dio cuenta y todos decidieron irse. . . Debido a esto, la mitad de la barra se vació. . . Este lugar tiene una gestión deficiente, un servicio lento y una resolución de conflictos terrible. No pierdas tu tiempo ni tu dinero. ¡Hay lugares mucho mejores en Covent Garden!
