If I could give 0 stars I would. Got my order completely wrong and when I rang up to complain the rude man that answered said it was my own fault even though I’d repeated my order to him twice. Inside the shop is absolutely disgusting, pigeons flying around, no hygiene in sight AVOID AT ALL COSTS

First time ordering, & can say i won’t be ordering from here again, food tasted awful, chicken popcorn tasted funny, kebab meat was stone cold.

Do not order from here the food is awful. The chips were stale, there was salad missing when specifically requested on certain items. For the amount we ordered and for the quality we got was a complete rip off! We will not be ordering from here again and please take all the bad reviews seriously because they are true😡

Ordered on their website. Said it would take 45 minutes delivery. It was an 1hr 20minutes for two pizzas and fries. All were lukewarm at best. Driver handed with a “there”. As food was cold by the time we were on second slice no one wanted to eat it. Waste of money.

This place used to be great but over the years it's become a hit or miss. Hopefully they learn keep the quality consistent.

The chicken steak burger was a bit bland, it was basically processed mashed up chicken. Apart from that the customer service was good, the guy who served me used to work at Roosterz on Queens Road. I was surprised to see him working at this place. The only thing that this place has going, are their pizza's which I guess they are ok to good.

Ordered a chicken burger with cheese and portion of chips got this delivered ordered 1 chicken kebab and 2 lamb they were delivered cold. Called up the shop to ask for replacement to be sent to rectify there poor service to be hung up on twice then refused to answer phone at all. Have used them for years but not anymore. Will pop down the shop later and give them back their poor attempt of a take away

No good for fish & chips, chicken burgers etc. only good for pizza which can be hit & miss, make sure you collect though and check your order as they can get this wrong a lot too! Ownership has changed hands in past couple of years and place has gone downhill fast!

Top pizza, spice just right on the hot and spicy chicken tandoori, mega meat was bit bland but the spicy wings were top notch!!!!! Best takeaway I've had in a while, the donner was sooo fresh!!!

Delivered order was wrong, put the phone done on me 3 times as I was trying to explain the situation, asked for a refund they told me to take the food to the takeaway for the refund. Ordered 4 times this year. Every single time at least 1 meal was either wrong or missing or both. Last night ordered at 4.30pm, got food at 6.30pm and my pizza was missing. They didn't even bother to resend my dinner out. The actual food is good but getting it is too hard

So I thought I'd give this place a second chance. Last time I received undercooked chips and they swapped them for undercooked chips. So on 3/8/21 I ordered a kebab in naan with salad. I received No salad and a pitta bread that fell apart. The chips were rock hard on the outside, soft in the middle. I repeated my order 4 times when speaking with the guy over the phone. I phoned back and told him and he blamed me. Guys steer clear especially if you've been looking forward to a takeaway!!!!!!

I'm severely angry with this place, this is the third day in a row now i've been suffering from food poisoning from this place, i ordered a pizza with shikh kebab crusts that clearly was either under cooked or gone off, I've been having to rush to the toilet all sorts of hours of the day and night while having to work, these guys aren't worth your time, if i could give a no star review i would, miss these guys out and give your toilet a break, shouldn't be serving food like this 😠

I'm furious, customer service requires updating... I've always ordered from City pizza the same pizza toppings all the time. I'm pretty certain I'm right!!! Its simple if you've mistakenly sent the wrong pizza could you kindly correct it and send the right one. Even though we said we will return the wrong one. The cheek to ask to pay for another one my friend is not on. You have lost another customer, I wont be ordering from City pizza again. The service and food is not the same anymore..

So some lady took my order which I had to repeat 4 times by the 5th time id pretty much lost my appetite. I asked if I could pay by card the lady said I could I got there and was told it was cash only ! The food can be okay when your actually given the correct order.

Waited over 1 hour for 9" pizza. Tasted not great, but not too bad. If you are hungry and anything else if closed I can recomment. Otherwise, try something else.

The worst delivery time and greasiest takeaway I have ever had. They took over 2 hours 30 mins to deliver and they kept on lying to us about the delivery time and status of our food. When it finally got delivered it contained no chips and the mushy peas were watery and there was less than half in the pot. The burger was greasy and slimy. Would never order from them again and I do not recommend ordering from them. Look at food hygiene rating as well!

Standard fast food place they are hit and miss though and I would suggest they need use better quality meat and chicken in their burgers but you get what you pay for.

If I could give the restaurant zero stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. An hour waiting for food for it to turn up cold and absolutely disgusting, words can’t describe the food the salad on the burgers looks like it had been sat all day long, the chips were black and the sauce was so watered down that the buns were soggy and wet. Avoid this place.

Ordered from City Pizza for years on a Friday, as they do traditional Fish and Chips. Ordered a large and small fish and chips, got 2 fish the same size, because they had come out of the same box, not traditional fish and chips but frozen supermarket rubbish.

I called up for a delivery at 8:05pm, man on the phone said order will be 45mins. Finally arrived at 9:40. Order was stone cold and no drink that was ordered with a meal. Called back up and spoke to ‘Mohamed’. He said he would send another order out, I said it was too late to wait for another order (as had to work early hours next day), so I would call back next evening and have the order then instead. Mohamed agreed. I put the food in the bin because it was disgusting cold. Called up next day, asked to speak Mohamed, apparently no Mohamed works there! I asked to speak to the manager, waited 2 minutes for the manager to come on the phone. Asked him if he was the manager and he said YES. I told him what was agreed the night before and that the replacement order would be sent this evening. He said no, that it was agreed the night before that they would send another order out same night at 50%, then it was changed to the next night at 50%. I argued as that was not what was agreed. Why would I agree to pay for an order, and have another sent out and pay for that too? He said he didn’t have the authority to send out free orders. So I said I thought you were the manager? He said he not the manager and the manager was in tomorrow. I asked him why he lied and he just kept arguing and talking over me regarding the order. I asked him the managers name, to which he replied ‘Mohamed’. Seems this Mohamed is a code name for when a customer has a complaint. He said he would ring Mohamed and call me back. It must be a long phone call as it’s been an hour and half and they have not phoned me back. I order from City Pizza every week, and I feel really disrespected and like loyalty means nothing to them. I paid full price for food that was inedible

If you want order off deliveroo avoid. Made the order they took the money no food arrived. After an hour phoned and was told the order was with driver. Messaged deliveroo half hour later to be told they had no order and got money back into my account. Bad service. Will avoid Edit. after a month they message me on here to change my review and blame it all on deliveroo. my complaint is more that when i phoned about it instead of ensuring me about my order they just said it was with their driver. i used deliveroo with you on that specfic day as there was a special offer you could only get with using deliveroo

Waited over one and half hours, peri chicken wrap had no salad in as requested and looked like it had been sat on, chips looked like warm ups, food was cold, after a couple of bites it was all binned and my son soon had belly ache, please please advoid this dirty little outlet at all costs, we wouldn’t of ordered from there if we’d seen the place first then after our experience we googled the place and realised where it was and how bad the place actually looks!! The food was £12!!!! Look what we got. We also had some cheeses jalapeño bites but I forgot to take a picture as we didn’t put them down on our carpet IN THE GREASE SOAKED BOX

Worst donner kebab I've ever seen. No salad no pitta bread just a tray of what looked like cheap dog meat. After two disgusting mouthfulls the rest went in the bin. Worst still friends kebab was raw!

i rang city pizza and placed a order for delivery as yesterday when i went into town it said only doing delivery and no collection- hence why i rang them up today to place my order, i placed it at 7:50pm as normal, the man happily took the address and said the order will be there in 1-1.5 hours - understandable as it’s a saturday and they probably have a lot of deliveries to do. so it got to about 9:15- still no food. kept ringing continuously for about 30 mins - couldn’t get through, left a voicemail, still nothing . i even contacted them through social media with a private message regarding the incident. my husband went to the takeaway, and said it was closed. so here we are, a family of 4, a 2 year old - not been told of any circumstance of the closure or what has happened. if we didn’t check, we would’ve still been waiting for food. very disappointed. customer service is rubbish especially when it comes to events like this- they don’t even have customer numbers for them to give a call back incase anything happens for instance a closure after taking many orders. i’ve attached a photo, below, it’s not as of good quality but it is city pizza as i am a local in nuneaton and live a few streets behind and have ordered here for collection before.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! Ordered 2 meals, both had salad missing. The chicken tikka wrap was missing salad and sauce, also made up of plain chicken with 2 pieces of chicken tikka. Chips were stone cold. Called to ask for a fresh one, told there is a shortage of certain items (but they are still quite happy to take your money with you believing you’ll get it as sold). I was then told they are busy so cannot do anything and he then PUT THE PHONE DOWN. Meal also took over 1 and a half hours to be delivered. The food is poor, service is even worse. I will not be using this place EVER AGAIN.

We ordered a meal for two people. We asked to pay over the phone due to the corona virus but they said that we had to pay in cash. When the food arrived, both meals were missing the salad and sauce even though we specifically asked for them. We ordered chicken tikka, but they used plain grilled chicken and the chips were cold. We rang to ask for one replacement meal (my husband still ate his) but they said that they had run out of the salad, the sauce and the chicken tikka. My husband told them that they should not be taking orders, and taking money for food that they do not have. But they hung up the phone and now we can’t get back through to them. Awful service

Ordered 6 pizzas to be delivered from city pizza we were told it would be 30 minutes. An hour later we tried to phone but the phone was off the hook. 1 and a half hours later we went down to find out that the phone was still off the hook and the pizzas weren’t even made yet. When we did get them I found a hair on mine. Awful service, sort it out.

I oderder same thing everytime and its good chicken batch burger, and they know me rather well, today i went and asked for chicken batch burger and when got home its donnor meat :( not great and normaly its dne straight away or little time to wait depending on how busy, I know they speak there own laguage in there between them so weather it was just a mistake who knows Once i notifed the company was delt with quickly so changed from 2 to 3 star, still low as now warm dnt think the heater / warmer machine not workin or turn on

Should have been delivered within 40 mins. 50 mins later called to be told food was ready and was just waiting for the driver to collect. Several calls and an hour later the food arrived. It was cold. Called the shop who said they would sort it out next time which I replied I'm not feeding my family cold food especially when it cost almost 40.00 and that I want my money back. They agreed to get the driver to collect food and return money. After 2 hours and being fobbed off many times we had to drive to the shop to get our money back. This is not the first time we have had a cold order so we will definitely not be ordering again

Ordered from here and actually got charged £5 delivery. Food came after 2.5 hours and 4 phone calls. Each time I was told 10mins. Children went to bed hungry. Offered a piece of cake. Didn’t want to know. When food arrived order was wrong. Allergic to a food, it was ok over my order. Wrong drinks and missing a portion. Didn’t care. Said some would be delivered and it wasn’t. Called again, refused refund, disrespectful and they hung up on me not interested. I order a lot of takeaways and my god is this bad. Nothing edible stone cold. Worst takeaway ever. For UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN, this is the place! I've used for a while but recently had a couple of instances where the Piri Piri is not cooked properly, first time it was replaced but second time its my problem! at least I know where to come for food poisoning!!! Hi Owner, thank's for coming back to me. Yes you can replace my food with properly cooked Piri Piri chicken but when I asked at the time, I had my integrity questioned, your man said I used to do this at Roosterz! Only time I ever sent back food, because it was cold! I save £130 per year ordering from you (order every Friday £572 per year to you) you know my address/No as I order every Friday!!
