Decided to bring American and Canadian family members who were visiting. Warm welcome which was much appreciated. Excellent menu to choose from. Discount for 2 courses and bring your own drinks. Five of us chose something different - all the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and staff. I go here approximately once a month with friends and also get take out once a month too. This place really is a hidden gem! A must try, you will not be disappointed

We were a party of 4 , we all eat different dishes and they were ALL delicious, such different choices from the usual Indian restaurants and the service was excellent, fast friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this restaurant and they deserve their Restaurant of the year 2023 award.

Read about this being the best Indian in Northern Ireland. So decided to put it to the test. AND yes it is . I eat in other great Indian restaurants that i also consider 5 star, but this has the edge, cannot explain but the flavours are out of this world. Staff excellent . This is best of the Best.

Had kebab on chips and one on Nan bread very good indeed very clean inside nice staff and easy parking would defo recommend

Rang at 5.40pm to enquire if delivery could be made to an address a very short distance outside of Dundonald and was told no problem at all snd I agreed to ring through the order later on -rang an hour later to do this was very rudely told we are far too busy to deliver to there - despite explaining about my previous phone call their attitude was disgraceful - customer service at its poorest level- would have ordered regularly from Cinnamon but will be giving it a miss from now as there always seems to be an issue and this was the icing on the cake -

Twice now we've ordered for takeaway, and twice they've got the order wrong. First giving King Prawn instead of chicken tikka, now charging us for starters that were ordered and not giving you them. How hard can it be? Not good enough.

We have been long standing customers of this place for many years. We get regular delivery and ordered our regular takeaway on 19/1. We waited for an hr and a half, for an estimated delivery of 45 mins. We phoned to be told it was on its way and should be there any min. Then 10 mins later the restaurant rang back to say the driver had a puncture so there was another delay. My husband asked what state the food would be in and was reassured it was being cooked fresh????? ( so hadn’t left) In 2.5 hrs after order, the delivery guy arrived….. with one of the mains missing and the rest cold. My husband rang to complain, and at this point asked for a refund for the missing item, to be told to come to the restaurant for it! Our reason for getting a takeaway is because we don’t drive and don’t live anywhere near it! They sent the driver back an hr and a half later, with the refund and a bottle of coke-compensation?? It’s a joke!!!! We won’t be using them again, and it’s a shame because it used to be lovely We’ve noticed a decline in quality/ portion sizes and customer service. It’s just not good anymore.

We have been ordering food from Cinnamon since we moved to Dundonald in 2005. Last night, to say we were shocked at the cost of our order would be an understatement. Yes, there's a global increase in costs but there's no excuse (since the last take away menu update a few months back) to add up to £4 to main dishes or to double the cost of poppadums and dips to £1.00 per poppadum and £1.50 per dip. This is unacceptable for take away food and undoubtedly will drive away customers like ourselves - as we will no longer be ordering from Cinnamon.

We ordered a carryout tonight and we were disappointed with the standard of food the vegetable rice was burnt it never should of been sent out, we ask for plain nan instead of garlic and got garlic??.we have been using this restaurant for many years and normally love the food don't know what happened tonight but you need to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ate here today after seeing it won best Indian restaurant 2018,2019,2021. Cannot believe whoever chose it. Food was bland over sweetened stodgy and frankly inedible- unless you like rice pudding curry! £66 waste of money. Worse Indian food experience ever and possibly the worst food experience. Staff were lovely but food was dreadful- a travesty of Bengali food . Rotis were from packet. Avoid unless you like stodgy sugar laden tasteless grub.

This restaurant was a huge disappointment If you love food from India it has little resemblance Too much sugar/ jagari in the curries we ordered Balti didnt was nothing like a balti i have ever tasted Food came out within minutes and that always makes me suspicious in regard to freshness I know many people reviewed it as great but in my opinion the curries are lacking in flavour and depth I guess if you are a connoisseur of curries this isn’t the spot for you

I always get takeaway from here and occasionally sit in. This time we sat in and the food was excellent. The garlic and peshwari naan bread was particularly good! Always a nice, relaxed atmosphere and good service.

We live close by and normally get take away but came for sit in. Food was amazing. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great service. Will def be back

Such an amazing experience for a first time visit. Started off with free poppadoms & selection of dipping sauces. Followed up by a complimentary portion of bhajis & pakora. Main meal was superbly prepared. And the service was second to none. Will definitely be back...

We had a wonderful time at the Cinnamon for my parent's anniversary: the staff were so kind and friendly, caring for our every need and the food was lovely, with a wide range of options. I would definitely go again.

We have eaten both takeaway and sit here for years, its always been great and good quality, So tonights takeaway was such a let down. Food was cold and Nanns were a disgrace def not the ones we've had before. Its not cheap and im not sure we'll order from here again.if this is them cutting costs we arent impressed.

tonight my.husband took me to the cinnamon restaurant for my.birthdayWe have eaten from there before but as takeaway food We had a beautiful meal in the very nice quite clean restaurant served by wonderful friendly helpful staff .the food was.amazing ,not expensive and the service was fab i had happy birthday inscribed on my plate with sauce and a complementary ice cream for my birthday along with staff playing happy birthday to me.Thankyou for a beautiful meal and friendliness Its a must visit place if you don't know of this place please look it up and book it,your not going to be disappointed. Having not had an opportunity to meet up with a friend since lockdown we decided to have a day out and have a meal at our favourite restaurant Cinnemon Indian Cuisine on our way home. We have always found the staff so welcoming and go above and beyond to make our visit a special one .Food is consistently excellent and never disappoints .Highly recommend . Great value too .

Our first time here since it reopened after the lockdown forced closure. It is under new management and they provided a very enjoyable dining experience.

We called in fairly late last Wednesday evening on our way up to Cookstown, hoping to get a late meal. We had been here a few years ago and remembered how good it was then. We were not disappointed again -friendly service by our waitress and two excellent, tasty meals. An added bonus was the £10 off each thanks to the government!

The Just Eat posting for this restaurant continues to advertise either a free beer on orders of £35 and bottle of wine for orders of £40. According to the restaurant however, this is not the case and they have informed Just Eat of this. Apparently they couldn’t afford to do this and make money with what they have to pay Just Eat? When I spoke with the restaurant I was told someone would get back to me about my free bottle of wine, however it wasn’t clear if this would be from Just Eat or them? That was eleven days ago and I haven’t heard a word. As regards the order, it was early, to be honest can’t remember exactly how much that was, as it wasn’t really that important, but it was at least 30 minutes. The food was ‘bland’ and very mediocre. I would not be ordering again regardless of free bottle of wine or not. I also anticipate my Just Eat app won’t last long. Something’s wrong when the ‘agent’ and ‘supplier’ don’t seem to be able to sing from the same song sheet.

A Friday night and we ordered chicken bhuna and lamb bhuna delivered to the house with poppadoms and naan bread. Food was lovely...really nice. Service very friendly. Had to pre-order and it took awhile to arrive but no complaints under current circumstances. Felt like quite a luxury having a lovely meal delivered. Very much recommended.

Always order from this takeaway. One of the nicest Indians in East Belfast in my opinion. Originally received my order with a few items missing. The first delivery driver was unpleasant and left my order at the bottom of the building in the middle of the pathway and drove off (I live in an apartment block). I rang the restaurant to notify them of his behaviour and the items that I did not receive. I hate to complain during a difficult time, however the man on the phone was very pleasant apologised, and personally arrived to my house shortly after with the items that were missing. Very professional service from this man on the phone and in person. Food always top notch. Should give this place a try.

Couldn’t fault it. Food was great and tasty- chicken tikka and rogan Josh with nan breads. Pick up for collection the front of house staff was lovely and well mannered. Even under the current circumstances they practiced good social distancing. If your missing your take aways and fancying an Indian go here.

Absolutely perfect, food was incredible, delivery quick and pleasant.

Food was collected at specified time but was cold. When opened at home the sauce for the kebab was missing and the free bottle of beer which comes with orders over £35 was not given. Disappointed.

We have had quite a few meals from this restaurant and they are always very good.

Accepted order on just eat only to ring and say they did not have the meat I ordered! Had to change to food I didn’t want because I had already paid. I have now been waiting 2 hrs!

I had a lovely meal here with my girlfriend who was visiting from Brazil. The food and service was excellent and my girlfriend’s starter even arrived with a Brazilian flag drawn on it with sauces!

The food here is excellent but there delivery service is awful. 4 times we have ordered delivery and they have missed things off the order. We have rang on all occasions and they are never apologetic just say we will send it out when we can. On the third time it happened we rang and said what will you do to help us have some loyalty to you. They offered us £3 off next order. We said is that really all you can do? They just said just don't order again if you dont like the offer

We dined in last week and usually look forward to our visits. Although the food was decent enough, it did lack its usual flair and the flavours weren't quite as fresh. We like a quiet meal out and aren't big drinkers but we felt pressured by the waiter who seems to be new to the business to buy more alcohol than we wanted. He was also pushing us to buy more food than we could eat. He was quite overbearing for the time we were there and appears to lack social boundaries based on some of the jokes he tried to crack. We are used to a friendly service and outstanding food which we had for a good few years so it is a disappointment to leave such a review.

Had a lovely family meal this evening for my birthday. Food was amazing and the staff were so attentive with helping us select our dishes. They go above and beyond for all of their customers. What can i say .........AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING Had a meal out with my family 3 adults 3 children tonight for my husband's birthday. The food was delicious from starter to main course. Fantastic portion sizes. 2 out of 3 children cleared their plate (5 year old got tired ) we all had the chicken madras (adults) kids chicken tikka masala absolutely beautiful. I never caught the name of the guy who served us he went above and beyond to meet our every need. When he found out it was husband's birthday he brought food out on decorated plates saying "happy birthday ". Even got our children to bring out dessert with a candle too. Such a kind thing to do he totally made our night. So much so our daughter wants to go for her birthday

Food was lovely full of flavour not a lot of chicken in the masalla but loads of sauce. It was quite expensive. Extras you often get free in other restaurants like pompadoms and dips are paid for.

The food in Cinnamon is consistently great. Authentic Indian cuisine. The staff are always friendly and professional. They are very good accommodating me with my dietary intolerances. I’ll be back again & again.

Five of us went here on Friday 7th February. We all ordered different starters and main dishes and all arrived together. Food was delicious and we had great banter with our waiter. This was the first time I have been to Cinnamon and will definitely be back again.

Another fantastic meal at cinnamon tonight for valentines night. Me and my husband have been coming here for 9 years. Staff very friendly,excellent service cannot recommend enough. Best Indian restaurant about. Great choice of menu.
