Highly recommended. Staff are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious! A much better choice than the likes of the fast food restaurants next door! Food is great quality, fresh and as insanely delicious! I had a large chicken katsu with curry and my wife and a medium sticky chicken. Both with rice and noodles. Will be having this again the next time we pass!

Large portion not worth £14. *Update, followed up with staff member about pricing for chicken and rice. They were very professional, 5* for staff. However, chicken and rice pricing with drink is way off.

Most staff are really good and polite. Others are lazy and dismissive talking to other staff members and ignoring the fact that there is a customer waiting and then cant be arsed to top up the sauce tray when it's empty

Lovely staff and great service. No attitude at all despite what the other reviews say. Food is also delicious, best highway stop for sure

Not sure why the staff member was so miserable but it made me miserable lol Also not sure why I'm not allowed additional toppings. Medium is one topping & so is large apparently yet everytime I've ordered before, I've been able to have 2 toppings for medium & 3 for large. Greggs it is! Way to lose a typically happy customer... Idiots

Wish I’d read the reviews beforehand! Noodles were dry, stuck together and tasteless and young staff member was miserable and very unhelpful

I'm veggie v Would be 3 stars but 4 for a service station. Ran out of pumpkin curry, but red Thai was pretty good but too much rice (keeps it cheap) gyoza not bad 👍

Was not happy with the service nor the food that we had last night. Staff was watering down the katsu sauce, the currys was very very watery compared to our chow food down at the Exeter services. £40 pounds worth off food seen the trash bin.

Food was incredible (we had Katsu curry and Thai green curry). Just what you need after a long journey when you don’t fancy a burger etc. We didn’t go large with the meals and didn’t really need to as portions were big as it was!

A day out working with many calls meant that lunch needed to be quick and reasonably filling. So, having not visited here for about 18 months, I decided it fitted well with my time constraints, my locale and my onward route. I felt that on my previous visits that the food was quite expensive for (what I consider are the best) dishes like the ‘Ebi Panko Prawn’ (£1.49 each), ‘Katsu’ chicken (£1.99 each), and ‘Duck Spring Rolls’ (£2.29 each) could be quite expensive if bought in sufficient quantity to sate my hunger. I could have easily eaten food costing nearly £10, so I settled for a dish I have enjoyed previously: the ‘Sweet Chilli Teriyaki Chicken’. This was £6.49 was a bit more in-line with what I wanted to spend on a ‘quick lunch’ that would satisfy my hunger. What I can say in favour of my food was that I was served hot and that the noodles (I could have had rice) were properly cooked. After that I have to say that the dish did not taste of sweet chilli or particularly of teriyaki, it was just quite bland. There was no appreciable chilli heat. The pieces of chicken were very small: the largest being about 1 square centimetre. The overall texture was miserable, and the taste was not very exciting. Disappointed!

Coming back from Weston-super-Mare, east bound M4. Looking forward to late lunch and fancied ‘healthier’ option. Stood in a queue of 2 when 1 of the 4 girls (16-18?) burst into the serving area saying that she had an announcement to make! She then continued to tell the whole staff plus whoever else was passing that ‘Sarah was £900 underspent on staff this month’ at that point I walked off not wanting to hear about their available shifts. They had 2 customers. Their giggly hair flicky cheerfulness didn’t wash with me I’m afraid. Manager/Owner please train your staff some customer service!

Heading west on the M4 just past the Chippenham turn, I had arranged to stop here (at the Leigh Delamere Services) to meet up with a client, to collect a computer for repair. The meet-up time was far nearer lunch time that I had expected so with other calls to make I felt driven to stay a while longer for some far-eastern lunch. This was the second time I have eaten here. Last time was in early July this year and then it was my main meal of the day: as was this time! So, I decided the ‘Sweet and Sour Chicken’ would be a good main dish. This was served with rice and was again good: it was served good and hot, but it was not at all spicy, and the serving was a bit mean. As my main dish looked a bit small I decided, once again, to try a few sides of finger-food to start. The ‘Ebi Panko Prawns’ were a favourite last time, so I went for two this time: again they were delicate with great texture. The ‘Chicken Popcorn’ was average, but made better this time, because I had the sweet chilli dip that was offered. I fancy that last time the batter on the ‘popcorn’ was crispier. My main dish was, as I say, quite small so I decided to try the ‘Katsu’ (Japanese style fried chicken marinated in ginger, garlic and soy sauce). This latter dish was by far the best side dish, it was quite a large piece of chicken, which was good and hot, tender and moist, tasty with subtle heat from the ginger, and the batter was crisp and light. All in all, because I had side dishes, the meal was enough to sate my hunger, but I feel it was expensive at nearly £14.

Not bad prices for a service station, the equipment was clean and the food is made in front of you. The drinks are kept cool in the fridge. The staff were friendly and smiling which was nice and advised what was best to grab. There isn't any seating meaning you have to either eat the food in your vehicle or in another restaurant within the service station.

On the M4 and driving west everyone came to a stop as there was an ‘incident’ resulting in the closure of the motorway. Not knowing how long the delay would be, I decided to follow the steady stream of vehicles filtering off into Leigh Delamere Services. I then parked-up and went in search of lunch. I don’t often dine in Motorway Services - most food-outlets in such places offer fast food of low quality, low value combined with high carb, high fat and high cost. I looked around and noticed ‘Chow Asian Kitchen’ - this sounded much more promising than I had expected. I had seen this outlet brand before at the M42 Tamworth Services but I wasn’t stopping for a meal, just a coffee, on that occasion. So what is this outlet all about? Well it is fast food of course but with a very far-eastern feel and theme. I like eastern and far-eastern cuisines and at home we cook Indian, Thai and Malay food, and our favourite at the moment is Vietnamese. As this was my main meal of the day, I decided to indulge in a bit of finger-food to start. The ‘Duck Spring Rolls’ were quite tasty and had a good texture. The ‘Ebi Panko Prawn’ (just the one, Mrs Wembley) was delicate with a great texture. The ‘Chicken Popcorn’ skewer was good but could have been radically improved with a hot sauce dip. The “Gyoza Chicken & Veg Spring Roll’ was almost tasteless and did not particularly have a satisfying texture. I decided the ‘Teriyaki Sweet Chilli Chicken’ appealed as a good main dish. This was served with sticky rice and was really good. It was spicy but not too chilli hot and there was sufficient sauce to be soaked-up with the rice There were plenty of other choices of mains and finger-food and now, having tried the ‘Chow’ brand, I will seek them out as first choice when visiting (more out of necessity than by choice) other Motorway Services. At least I now know that CAK it’s a far better option for me than ‘Mac-Kings’ and ‘Kens-Tuckie-Foul-Chicken’.

We had to stop for food this trip & we are a family who enjoys noddle's so knowing Chow is at this service station is great for us. We were serviced my Ethan & he was fantastic. Great customer service, friendly, funny & helpful. Thank you for making our trip home that little more enjoyable :-)

Snacks portions were not huge but the taste was good. The soft shell crab tempura was a small portion but the salmon donburi was yum.
