Chinese Takeaway Coastfield in East Lindsey

Stayed at coastfeilds thought we'd give it ago at this chinese, as waiting outside a couple walked past and said " I wouldn't eat here if I were you, you'd get ill" but we already paid and waiting for food to be cooked. We give everyone a chance and..... Well.. if you had a few drinks then I'm sure you'd would've enjoyed it..(Till the next morning) egg rice very plain, no flavours, beef curry very chewy, crispy chicken wasnt white it was browny/pink inside put me off on the plus side sweet sour was rather nice. And average prices.

Wish I read the reviews first. Had some food on the last night of the little get away with the kids and now im constantly sat on the toilet at home with the devil coming out of me. My wife told me not to eat it but I didn't listen as awalys and now im paying the price. Not saying all there food is bad but would look at other options first.

1st time eating from here. Food very nice and tasted fresh. Shame cash only. Quality of food made up for that. Would recommend 👌

Love it, been coming here years and consistently good food. Salt chilli beef is amazing! Noodles are delicious and the fried rice is perfect 👌

Had a chicken balls with sweet n sour sauce n egg fried rice last night, was not nice at all. Rice hard and dry and tiny pot of sauce was cold and tasteless, won't bother again

Would not recommend Just got food from here overpriced and such small portions Food isn’t nice at all and the meat is slimy Got beef in oyster sauce and there was only 4 small pieces of beef and the rest of the pot was just filled with onions with a sauce that was the same texture as slime Rice was hard and made a crunching noise Barbecue sauce had no flavour at all

We recently went here for a takeaway when we went on holiday it was ment to be a nice relaxing holiday with family but the first night which is when we had the Chinese my cousin got food poisoning from a prawn dish we know because no one else had the prawns that night and we were all fine the next she spent the rest of our holiday in bed throwing up! Would avoid this place like the plague!

These sosige's seem to be closed at 2220 aswell on a bank holiday weekend, either that or their phone don't work full of cabbages down here clearly don't need the custom

Really fancied a Chinese whilst we was away and this hit the spot! Salt and pepper prawns and chow Mein were amazing! Will be returning!

Very good fresh tasty takeaway ( best in ingoldmels and skegg come to think of it) been coming here for years and still the same owner always as good as the year before. Honestly don’t understand the bad comments, ( portions maybe smaller than peoples home towns but this is only a seasonal takeaway so prices may seam a little higher for what you get, but all good quality ingredients used) don’t be put off.

Not worth the one start tbh.. Very poor food, small portions for the price. We had a chicken chow main duck curry and some chips, all which was covered in oil, taste was bland and not very hot. Definitely won't be returning. If you like Chinese food avoid this place!

We came to this Chinese take out since 2019, but had something from their this week, will never be using them again. The food was terrible, greasy the curry was. The rice no go. Everything tasted bland,

Paid £6.40 for a duck fried rice that was the size of a small egg fried rice at most Chinese takeaways! 😡

Small portions, which would be ok if they tasted really good, but unfortunately they didn't. Egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken were very bland and disappointing. Won't be using again.

Just had the worst Chinese meal ever, chicken szechuan was so tasteless my dog would have turned it down. Don't waste your money.

Looking at the hygiene rating from outside it states 5 star, go inside look at the back of the rating of which there is two, one is from 2016 the other 2018 bit this was too late as we had ordered as if known these where not current ratings would not have ordered any food. It's one of those, you've had a drink and fancy some food, the nearest just happened to be the Chinese. We ordered food got a raffle ticket as reference to order, got overcharged, got that sorted and waited for food. Whilst waiting noticed the place was not the smartest, should have asked for a refund but was hungry. Our number was called within 7 mins, no exaggeration this was quick. Well not a surprise, got back to our place (4 min walk) and the food was cold and not looking appealing. Sorry but the we didn't try the food, returned to the Chinese to get a refund.

Came here not long after we arrived for a bite to eat back at the apartment one night,firstly they got the order wrong,she apologised but then said we had to pay £1.50 more because of her mistake! So not only did she get it wrong but we had to pay more for that mistake,got back to the apartment,plated it all up and it was the smallest meal ive ever had from a chinese,didnt know what any of it was,and basically it was disgusting! The rice well ive never seen or tasted rice like that before,there was a chunk of pineapple in mine even though none of us ordered anything with pineapple in it? All this cost way too much to,over £15 Please dont use this place,walk down the road and get something decent and worth the money.

Prices seem high and don't use quality ingredients. My personal experience was that I didn't enjoy the food, and I eat a lot of Chinese takeaways and rarely complain. I used once and haven't used again.

Unfortunately not great. The rice was claggy and greasy, not really any taste to the curry sauce either and some of the lumps of chicken were dry/hard. The sweet and sour sauce tasted just sweet. We asked for pain noodles but they came with veg and the prawn crackers were stale/soggy. Shame.

Decent Chinese recommend the chicken chew Mai very nice

Decent local takeaway although they DO NOT deliver which is ridiculous for one of the only Chinese takeaways in Ingoldmells. Nevertheless the food is good despite a lightly higher price than average.

I also went here last year and all the food was 100% perfect I'm shocked to see the bad reviews, thinking twice now about ever going again.

The worst chinese meal we have ever had, not really worth 1 star, over 40 quid for rubbish. Really small portions and little to no sauce with the meals. Food didn't taste very nice at all and tasted off. Just wish we had read the reviews before we ordered.

Went to this chinese last year and this year in August couldnt fault it thought the food was amazing.. Im.really shocked at all the bad reviews.

I orderd £26 worth of 'food' the chips were over cooked and dry, the beef chow mein was dry I had to add boiling water to make it moist, portion size was small, the salt and peppern chicken was rock hard and I orderd prawn crackers but received none! Over all shambles

I have never had such a dry and tasteless Chinese that is expensive for the small portions. Sorry, I would never buy from here again!

This is the worst Chinese that you can eat at. Do not use as they have super small portions, tasteless and full of grease. Chips not cooked properly and chow meins just noodles mostly. If this wasn't on a caravan site it wouldn't be making any business at all. Thoroughly disappointed year after year although felt we should give it another go but a HUGE disappointment.

Been a few times this year and must say an improvement from last year,. There special fried rice and chowmain is lovely and tasty.
