AVOID!! Only gave 1 star because there was no option for zero. Food an hour late! Cold and sauce congealed. Never again!

Ordered at 9pm on a bank holiday and it arrived just after 10pm. The food was hot and exceeded our expectations after seeing some of the recent reviews. Shredded beef in peking sauce was the best we've had it from anywhere else! Definitely found our new go to when we fancy Chinese in future!

Food was absolutely disgusting. Phoned shop and they said we aren't giving you the money back. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!!!

Please for the love of god dont eat this food. No card payments, fried chilli beef was grey and cold. Ribs were 99% bone and dry, very dry. Everything was cold and greasy. I darent eat the prawns for my safety. Holy cow, cantaloupe believe how bad it was. Guy was a nice chap though. Only buy Chinese food from chinese people, lesson learnt

Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed. Ordered from here instead, I ordered on justeat and it said the order had 40% off if you order over £25. As i got to checkout it said the prices had changed and only ended up with 15% off, coincidence? . So we waited 1 and a half hours and rang and rang the restaurant who just kept putting the phone down instead of just answering. Food finally arrived 2 hours later. We ordered 2 cans of coke with our order that were in the bag with the food and warm. Opened the food up and it was all really cold. Rice wasn't very nice, all tasted like it had been microwaved. Prawn crackers tasted a bit off like they'd been left out. Ordered 2 boxes of salt and pepper chicken, one of the boxes was half full. The chicken was quite nice but overall we weren't impressed. Shame.

Ordered via dario eats at 6.50 said delivery 7.40. Rang 8.15 said driver on the way. Food eventually arrived 8.50. Got a text at 8.50 to say food wouldn't be long. Food was cold and the sauces were congealed. Wouldn't order again, food took 2 hours to get to us from time of order

Best Chinese I’ve ever had last night! Absolutely nothing that we didn’t enjoy, worth every penny! Compliments to the chef. shame we don’t live closer as it was amazing! Highly recommend.

Not great, some stuff alright but the duck costs £9 for a 1/4 and about a 1/4 was bones. Nearly choked as never had bones in shredded duck before so hidden in pancakes didn't notice. The yung rice was mushy as anything tasted reheated and oily even though the side order of rice was nice. How did they manage that? Ribs absolutely tasteless bland and chewy. Some stuff is fine but very generic, wouldn't recommend.

I collected a takeaway and the food was made abit too quickly for my liking. The portion was massive and I got free prawn crackers. The sweet and dour Hong Kong chicken was revolting and the rice tasted horrible too. I binned most of my food it tasted so bad. I think I will stuck to my normal Chinese takeaway.

Disappointing..Be aware if you order from just eat you don't get rice or chips choice so unless you order them separate you don't get anything. Also ordered chips but didn't arrive,phoned up and told they would send them out ..still waiting for them. Food had to be microwaved as only luke warm. Staff didn't sound too bothered when phoned. Overall very disappointing and not worth the money.

Decent takeaway from here - ordered through Just Eat and came in good time. Food was good too

Would give 0 if I could... ordered the prawn squid and mussel fried rice...3 drinks...chicken chow mein... fortune cookies...what did we receive one fortune cookie and the fried rice....so thanks for missing everything else out wasted £25 and me left with no meal as my stomach doesnt handle seafood....won't be ordering again

Great place for t/a and deliveries. Great food. Very freindly helpful staff. Prompt pleasant delivery staff. Food brought to new builds not yet on map with no issue and no delay. Clear communication.

We had two portions of chips and gravy the chips were not cooked properly and I almost choked and was sick and the sauce didn’t taste of curry at all. It’s quite strange because we had one the week before and it was lovely very disappointing:(

You order food here at your own risk. Decided to treat my hungry work colleagues on a night shift and I ordered from china house. I took 41pounds of my hard earned money to patronize your business and I never received the food. I've been chasing after this for months since July. Now they are telling me they have changed management and the old management is the one that has my money. This is so unfair I won't want this happening to anyone. I'm out of options but I can at least help save someone else from this robbery

Be aware, this takeaway doesn't take card payments at all, its cash or nothing if you choose to pick up. They have QR codes on the menu, and yet no mention of payment, its only when you get to the shop do you find out. Chips were cold and spring rolls were mediocre.....we wont use this establishment again !! not recommended !

Just had a chicken curry and chips from China House. It was absolutely delicious. Proper chicken not that horrible spongy stuff. Tasty sauce and lovely chips. Will definitely order from here again.

Can't comment on the food but ordered at 6.50pm. Was informed food would arrive at 8pm. Now 9pm , 2 phone calls and still no food. Will not be ordering again!

Had previous orders but tonight was dreadful. Curry sauce was powdery. Hardly any chicken in chow main. Wont be rushing back

Delivery drivers daughter leaves food on the floor outside all the time. Also watch out as given forgery notes back in change then shop or delivery personnel won't take responsibility for this. Given the chance to come and change it because its not the first time this has happened so got police involved

Took ages to deliver, one meal missing, but rang and told them not to bother re-delivery because there were finger nails (yes, plural) in the egg foo yung.

Spent £43 and collected the order due to the negative delivery reviews.. drove 7 miles home and 3 of the dishes were missing! Had to drive back for them to cook and complete the order… what started off as a treat ended up in disaster.. The counter assistant wasn’t really interested but pretended to shout at the cook! Ridiculous…Save your money and go to decent take away.. Shame because it used to be excellent..

We have always had good meals from here untill tonight. Order came to £29 + they forgot the Prawn Crackers, chips were like they were yesterdays chicken anemic had to make sure it was cooked, not very warm the chicken off the chicken Maryland was over cooked and dry. Asked if we could get free prawn crackers “no it’s mini spring rolls” okay we got some foul smelling chicken. Sorry to say we won’t be ordering again

My daughter placed an order and it never arrived at all. I would not recommend this place at all. Phone is constantly off the hook.

Ordered a takeaway, it never turned up, tried to call and they've take phone off the hook but still charged us for it.

Made an order with Just Eat at 6:30 and was told online that it was delivered at 8:30 but it didn’t arrive till 10:16. I tried to call 48 times but the phone must have been off the hook I turned the food away as it was to late to eat and tried to contact both parties that night. I eventually got through the next had only to be insulted ant the phone put down on me. Possible the worst customer service ever

Ordered food tonight costing over £30 which was payed for but never arrived. Tried to contact them no answer. Send them a message via justeat got rejected absolutely disgusting service. Never order from them again.

When the order arrived, the sweet and sour container was crushed at the bottom of the bag therefore ruining the whole meal as it was all over the other containers and at the bottom of the bag. (Didn’t realise until delivery driver had left). Tried to ring the takeaway to complain but no answer. Very disappointed as we never normally have issues when we pick up from takeaway.

The food was lukewarm and incredibly salty. We were both violently ill after eating the food from here. Never again!

Never going here again, chips dry, chicken balls weren't cooked properly and still pink, rang them up and they said someone would come out with a refund and no one turned up!!!

Will not be ordering from here again, ordered chips and gravy for myself and chips and curry for my husband, arrived early but wasnt very hot, chips were dry and hardly any gravy or curry on the chips at all looked like only a spoonful, phoned them to say we were not happy and we just got told that they dont put much sauce on as chips go soggy and just got told next time we order to ask for more sauce, will not be ordering again I might as well have just ordered a portion of chips.

Absolutely disgusting just ordered from here and poured my gravy sauce over my meal and the gravy was fishy tasting. Strong fishy tasting. Feel sick had to bin my meal.

Stood outside for over an hour in the pouring rain!! waiting for the delivery previously being told that it should arrive at 21:40, i was on and off the phone to which i was told each time "it will be five minutes " eventually arrived at 22:55. To top it off the food was infact cold. Will not use again.

Best Chinese food we have ever had. Portion sizes excellent . Service excellent. So pleased there is still somewhere that actually cares about its customers ... Will never use any other take away again.
