Only cash ?? Which is a problem Money laundering? Whatever Each to there own Not everyone has cash I’m all for keeping cash alive , but it’s good to have the choice

After hour and half and three calls it arrived cold and had to send back to China cottage who now won’t refund me and are rude and not helpful and not apologetic at all .Children left with no dinner and £40 out of pocket AVOID AT ALL COSTS .

Ordered a few dishes for delivery and was very pleased! Chicken balls were massive and delicious, crab claws lush, Peking bean curd lovely. Singapore noodles were not vermicelli so different from what I was used to but were nice and fresh and had great flavour. Hot and sour soup one of best I've had. Delivered in good time and very good value!

As always, delicious food from China Cottage. This is our go to place for Chinese, we've tried other takeaways and none are as good as here. Hot and tasty with free prawn crackers! Would recommend 100%

after driving five miles back to our holiday chalet i opened the main course roast prk dim sum (£6.50) and rice (£3.50) there was the equivalent of a 50p piece size of pork in ALL of the 3 dim sums collectively. yes its a 'first world' problem (whatever first world means anyway) but i wasnt going to drive back, so i called today to offer the owner a chance to refund me or i would write a poor review, he just laughed and wasn't interested at all. locals and visitors AVOID. they really dont care about maintaining in form of consumer care

Overpriced,greasy and generally tasteless. Service is very poor,phoned an order through which they got wrong and forgot to mention only accept cash in the shop. Uncrispy crispy beef with no sauce,pancakes stuck together and cold chow mein....complete waste of money

Hi all pretty poor takeaway recently One of worse I've had used to be great sack new chief if that's the problem and get old one back No going back gutted feels like I've been robbed. Kind regards can't wait till Chung's kitchen opens up again.

Given 1 star because I can't give it zero! The delivery driver pocketed our money and then lied to the restaurant owners & said we only gave him £2 tip!! They covered for him. Becareful handing over money to their delivery drivers, you could get the one we did! Food is also overpriced and average. Would never recommend or use this restaurant again!

The food is now amazing! Best Chinese outside of china. We tried eating from here before a few times and it was probably a below average chinese. What you'd expect with the cheapest jelly-like meat, thick artificial sauces and lashings of food colouring. (sorry guys! It was a bit poor before..) BUT now in the last month we tried it again and they must have a new chef or something because it really was the best chinese I have had. Fresher ingredients, a better quality meat, everything tastes more authentic and even as close as possible to a healthy takeaway! Will be back to try more of the new menu Chicken steamed buns are nice and something different to try. Recommend the Wonton Soup to go with your main meal.

i paid for the food with pay pal, the driver asked for the money from my wife, she paid them plus a tip, the next morning we found out that we both paid for the food, the owner stalled on paying us back by saying he had to wait for the driver to say if he had been paid cash by us, so I'm lying then? we have had food from this company for years and its good, but the delivery people are scammers and i would never recommend this company again

I have had chinese food from so many different takeaways but unfortunately this has to be the worst I have ever had. My curry tasted like a bag of sugar had been poured in, it sadly went into the bin.

Placed an order online only to phone up to ask how it’s getting on as I’ve been waiting almost 2 hours only to be spoken to very rudely on the phone very poor poor customer service.

Ok... you may have to wait 40 mins - 1 hour for delivery when they're busy but the food is first class, hot and delicious !!

I am quite surprised with the previous reviews... as we had a delivery and the food was absolutely fabulous hot and tasty speedy delivery and friendly people...

We used to frequent this takeaway but don’t any more as the cleanliness standards leave a lot to be desired. It’s grubby, unkempt and to top it all off you barely get a grunt from the staff. All in all totally put off before you even get to placing your order.

As the title says, the staff are rude, the food is extremely poor quality, barely any meat in the special fried rice, and also a rip off for the portion sizes you get, and the takeaway doesn’t look like it’s seen a lick of paint or had a good clean for years, scruffy isn’t the word.. go here at your peril!

Waited two hours to get food. Couldn't get a smile out of the waitress despite giving them comedy gold. Five star reviews are undoubtedly from the one billion buddies at home.

Nada es peor que unas malas chino. Este fue el peor. Tan malo de hecho que escribo esta crítica antes he incluso quitaron las sobras (de los que hay muchos). difícil, recocido, pasada, insípido, tibia, sosa, bastante pesado y decepcionante. Básicamente, evitar.No estoy siendo dramático y nunca dar una mala crítica donde no es debido. Esto es demasiado pobre. Para ser sinceros, el pato estaba bien, pero eso es la única razón por la que puede ser 1 estrellas.

Pedimos comida para llevar y llegamos a la hora acordada de colección para ser recibidos por una muchacha en la barra escupiendo en el contenedor de desechos. Esto debería haber sido el tiempo que nos fuimos, pero por desgracia esperar para nuestra comida. En el camino a casa recibimos una llamada a nuestra casa diciendo que China cabaña había hecho una confusión y nos habían dado la orden equivocada y podíamos volver. Nosotros lo hicimos y recoge lo que resultó ser una muy mala comida, por desgracia no gracias o recibir disculpas por la confusión resultante en nosotros volveremos 5 millas en Shaftesbury para intercambiar los pedidos. Esto me animó a revisión Trip Advisor, para ver si nuestra experiencia fue una fuera y, para ser justos los comentarios generales son buenas. Pero por favor Mire resultados en la puertas higiene alimentaria calificación cero. (Necesita atención urgente) Antes de tomar el riesgo. Sin duda no será otra vez.
