Venue catered for a wake that we held for about a 100 mourners. Julia and her staff were brilliant from when we enquired to the day itself. The spread of sandwiches, nibbles and cake itself was superb and praised highly by the attendees including those with special dietary requirements. Thank you

Enjoyed an amazing afternoon tea with a friend. Specific dietary needs catered for, gluten free bread, cakes and scone, with no meat for one person. Very friendly, helpful service. Far too much to eat. We will be back.

Friendly staff, great cake, a safe play zone for kids with loads of toys. Welcoming to all. Feels like a safe inclusive space where you will be guaranteed a smile. Good coffee. Plugs for laptops if working parents need to check emails whilst watching kids in play zone. Clever design for kids space so adults can drink coffee whilst they play.

A fantastic food experience , attended for after funeral gathering the food and cakes were all homemade and exceptional, the tea and coffee were also fantastic, would definitely recommend a visit homemade sausage rolls , quiches, top quality homemade sandwiches with high quality ingredients all round great fresh food

Loved the food and friendly service, great cakes, sandwiches and soups, locally in Hampton and a great place to meet, all on one level and good access. Food all cooked locally and a great advert for local. Will be back when in the area, thank you.

Full of screaming kids food all over and baby wipes everywhere! Not a good first impression! Didn't stay as came for nice catch up with friends.

I've visited Chimes on many occasions with my family, and we've enjoyed it every time. Great staff provide wonderfully friendly service, offering a delicious range of cakes and brilliant coffee.

Visit this coffee shop each time I visit my daughter. Gorgeous lunches and fabulous cakes. Adore the coffee and walnut cake, but the lemon and lime is a close second. My fourteen month old grandson actually smacks his lips when we feed him small amounts of the sponge! Back home now and can only dream of my return. Highly recommended!

I used to eat here a lot last year and thought I’d try it for lunch again on my day off. Simply faultless. The staff are friendly the coffee is superb and the cakes are a dream, me I opted for the tuna salad today and it’s freshly made and in my opinion very reasonable in price. The place is quiet and a great place to meet up for a chat and a brew. Still regarded as one of the best places to lunch in Hampton. What a joy

Have visited chimes several times now as my daughter is living nearby, they have another quiet room we've used a couple of times when busy, and as she and another friend living close by both have very young babies it's so nice to feel so welcome and not worry that you may disturb other visitors. The food is delicious, always so fresh, and the scones and cakes so good! Staff are always so friendly and helpful, I'm sure there'll be many more visits!

We called for a coffee after our shopping trip. This is the nicest coffee shop for miles. We just had a coffee each but the range of cakes and scones was lovely, the diet stopped us partaking. Much better service than the chains. Give it a try

One of the nicest cafes I have visited. Very friendly and delicious home made food. Definitely worth a visit.

Set up to serve the local community it is an ideal meeting place. There is a self contained crèche area enclosed with high seating so parents can chat while keeping an eye on the toddlers. Usual variety of coffees with cakes and other light refreshments all well prepared, nutritious and very well priced.

My wife walks to Chimes with our 2 year-old daughter and we both agree that it's a lovely welcoming place to meet up and have a chat over a piece of cake and coffee. Great little area for the young children that feels safe. The cheese scons are to die for too, so definetly worth a look into if your a mum and have small kids and fancy somewhere different.

Vivir en nosotros hampton, visitaremos las campanas a menudo y nunca nos ha decepcionado. Ofrece tartas caseras, sopas y platos ligeros, además de varias bebidas. También hay una pequeña zona de juegos para los niños más pequeños. El personal es siempre amable y acogedor, y las mesas y las instalaciones están siempre impecables.

Fantásticos pasteles y un entorno encantador. Nada era demasiada molestia. Caballero sirve pasamos tiempo yendo a través de sábanas alergia conmigo para mi hijo, que tiene alergia a alimentos y era muy servicial. Sin duda volveremos.

I had really high hopes for this place as it's local and just what the community needs but am left a bit disappointed. I bought tea and scones, which were tasty but the staff member serving realised they'd forgot to charge us for the cream that we were having on the scones so just as we sat down we were asked to go back up and pay an extra 50p each. You'd think if they'd made the mistake they'd let the 50p go instead of awkwardly making us go back up!

Met a friend for a quick catch up, spotlessly clean coffee as good as anywhere else ( cheaper & hotter than costa which is a bonus) scones were beautiful big and full of fruit - offered cream & Jam but being early January just chose butter ......have to have a little treat even in January! The place was quite busy families having lunch friends catching up & solos just having a drink & a read of a magazine. I will certainly be back - I need to sample the cakes as they looked amazing!

This is a lovely coffee shop inside a church. Great range of freshly baked food such as Scones (which are amazing!!!), soups, paninis (with lots of different fillings) & cakes!! Freshly made milkshakes. Coffees and soft drinks. Service is really good too and very friendly. Great value too!

Small coffee shop located within the local church just behind Serpentine Green shopping centre in Hampton.Firstly it's great to have a little independent coffee shop locally. You can buy Costa or have Tesco coffee in the shopping centre, but if you are looking for something just a little less "chain store". They sell a decent range of cakes/ muffins as well as a decent bacon sarnie in the mornings as well as panini and soup for lunch. The wife totally recommended the cheese scones. Although based in the local church and the church influence is clear, you do not have to be religious to enjoy this venue.A small play area caters for young children who can play while you drink your tea.Chimes is closed on Sunday's and Monday's but any other day of the week and you want a cup of tea/ coffee with a piece of home style baking - I don't think you can do better in this area.
