If you are a fan of peri peri, grilled chicken then I would highly recommend Chick'n Box. It's a stones throw away from East Croydon station and the food is always great quality. Freshly made while you wait, I would recommend the quarter chicken, HOT with rice. They also do a great chicken salad box, if you want to keep it light. Last but not least, they do the best hot wings in London! FACT. Try for yourself & see.

We ordered the food through the Too Good to Go app and paid £3 for a "Mystery Box" with a normal price of £9. We expected £9 worth of value for each order (as advertised). The portion sizes were tiny. Only about 4 spoonfuls of dry rice with bland chicken. The photos of the Kids meals on their website were larger than what we received. Even if the "normal price" was £3, it was still terrible value for money due to the portion sizes and flavour. When we got home we had to season the chicken ourselves. The chicken and rice came with a bag of crisps which were due to expire next month. No point of this type of item being included in the Mystery Box as it defeats the Too Good to Go concept e.g. only 'left over' food should be served. Crisps aren't even included on their main menu, so it's even more confusing why it was included. A massive disappointment. A £3 meal deal from TESCO would've been preferred.
