Chicken & Fish Land in Pembrokeshire

3 times I've been in there and 3 times I had to throw it away. They keep drowning my chips in vinegar, went in to say something they were just looking around looking at me stupid. Usually this sort of thing doesn't bother me but how will they learn?!

Website says open, diner is not open. Update the times, wasted a trip

Ordered half hour before going still had to wait 10 minutes before getting the food and the chips where very undercooked

One of the best fish and chips I've had in a long while. Everything cooked fresh. Lovely

I cannot remember a worse fish and chips in my life. Honestly don't know how this place is still going, just wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Firstly, ordered haddock and got cod! When my fish did arrive it was so soaked in oil that even after trying to 'sponge' it off with my napkin the batter was still inedible. The table was sticky and obviously hadn't been cleaned. Tomato sauce was watered down. The chips tasted as if they were covered in chicken fat. I suspect they'd been fried in the same fat as the days chicken. Neither myself, my wife or daughters could finish their chips. My one daughter thought she was going to be sick in the park afterwards. All four meals ended up in the bin, total waste of money. Luckily there are plenty of other places to eat in Narberth, avoid this place at all costs.

The food, if can call it that was vile and I wouldn't even give it to a dog to eat. There are many places in Narberth that serve food so do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this place. You couldn't pay me to go back !

Very, very expensive food and drink and the chips and fried chicken were disgusting and unedible. (£24.40 for 4 small bags of chips 4 chicken wings and 2 chicken portions and 4 cans of pop) Plus charged extra to sit in we never knew this until afterwards. We were feeling quite sick after eating some of it and when we left we had to pop into the Spar shop to get some strong mints to get the foul taste out of our mouths. Tomato sauce and vinegar was watered down Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague!

Ordered twice and both times the chips were soggy and several weren't cooked. Thought it might of been a 1 off but guess not. Its also very pricey for the slop you get, Won't be here again

Shambles. Who fries the fish, then the chips? So slow. Served in a polystyrene/plastic tray.

Enjoyed a super breakfast here, fab efficient service with a smile.

Stoped for chips food was very average very expensive especially the bottled drink if I'd have realised what I paid they would have had the drink back not a please or thank you given and when I paid the guy behind the counter slamed my change on the counter avoiding this place is the best decision in future

Nice food and excellent service. Staff kept our little 3 year old entertained with colouring books. Would recommend

The worst chips I have ever tasted, definitely warmed up from lunchtime service! Went straight into food waste bin totally inedible.

Bizarrely this place expects you to order fish and chips separately (as if anyone would go in to order fish on it's own!). They only have cod even though there are various types of fish on their menu. It also costs about twice as much just to eat in!

Very disappointing. Food was lukewarm. Panini was soggy and chips seemed as if they had been reheated. Only good thing was the pot of tea.

Waited half an hour for scampi and chips to arrive. Scampi was burnt and we had 10 chips and it cost £10.50. I would not recommend.

Just popped in for a coffee, proper big cup full and hot.

No knifes and forks, the tables were dirty, fish soaked in oil. If you have an alternative go for it!

Lovely place. The chips are lovely just the way I love it, the staff are lovely but didn't understand what I said, but has to go back in as they made a mistake with my order. Didn't put milk in coffee and asked if I could tell the young man how much milk and I couldn't see the coffee as he didn't bring it to me to see if the coffee is the way I wanted. But the chips are lovely,

Been here once before - food always hot and served within 20 mins of ordering.

Rip off prices £2.20 for a bottle of ice Valley water which costs them 10p from bookers all meals over priced,ie £9.50 for a jacket potatoe wont be back I'm sorry

Mixed feelings, nice service, lovely fish pie, nice coffee but i should have read the menu, all-day breakfast was bacon/sausage /chips!!! But tasted great to be fair.

Ordered online, food was delivered within half an hour, piping hot and delicious. Cod was amazing and proper chippy chips. Thank you will be ordering from here again 🙂

Nice fish and chips, ordered over phone and were ready and waiting on my arrival, piping hot. Having visited the only other chip shop in Narberth previously, can say this is definately best fish and chips in Narberth

Woukd give zero stars if I could, absolutely awful. Coffee and scones, coffee so weak it was unbelievable, scones hot but lije concrete! They had been microwaved to freshen them up. 🤮

Average place with not much room inside. Can't argue with it though so I'd recommend it.

Great. Home cooked food. Reasonably priced

Our first visit, we were greeted by friendly staff and pleasant, clean surroundings. The menu was extensive and prices competitive. There are customer toilets which were also clean and tidy. Street parking is directly outside with a pay car park near by. We were a little disappointed with long wait for food to arrive. The food was good quality but the portions were small, bearing in mind it's a fish and chip shop too. Well worth a visit with the children too.

Really lovely meals. Grilled bass fab. Plaice in batter the same and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be returning in the future.

A Turkish ran family, who has a cafe and a fish and chip shop in one. The food is beautiful, and the prices are fair and worth every penny. The family are very polite and their customer service is fantastic. Its worth a visit. Try their fish bites, its out of this world.

Great meal and great value. I had cod, chips and curry sauce and my wife had haddock, chips and beans, both came with a nice fresh crisp salad and coleslaw. Good service too.

My fish and chips was fine but my daughters toastie was value bread with no cheese and a half piece of fatty bacon for 4 pounds.

We never ever eat same bad food than here.We was shocked.The haddock arrived with skin on,you can't cut out,the taste was rancid, the Welsh cow,was very stinky.Im sorry to write that,but this food is not for the human how can sell this?Maybe we was in the bad time.We still hungry we left that place asap.The botle of coke taste was good:-)

Used to be much better. Granted we were a big group of 10, but we did expect to have the correct drinks, and to have what was actually specified on the menu. For example, I ordered cod and chips, which was meant to come with "salad garnish, coleslaw and mushy peas". It didn't, and I had to ask for mushy peas. Food was ok, but as I said earlier, I've had better there.

Had take away. Really tasty battered haddock & chips, not greasy, fish lightly battered, so tasty and good portions. We were really impressed. Would definitely have again.
