A fabulous family run Lebanese restaurant, a broad menu and between 11 of us we had most items! All lovely and fresh, very reasonably priced too

Cozy, small location, with a variety of customers, from locals to international. Concise menu, very good quality and fair presentation of the dishes. What is most pleasing is the kindness and proactivity of the young and smiling staff (btw: only men in the crew?). In the end, great food, fair price, excellent experience. Just a note: please replace the bulbs on the ceiling spots... too many have gone!

After reading all the reviews we decided to stop here for Sunday lunch after visiting an exhibition at Olympia. We had not made a reservation, but were fortunate enough to find a table had just come free. I must say that this is the most authentic Lebanese restaurant I have had the pleasure in dining in since returning from the Middle East several years ago

Lovely little restaurant tucked away behind the Olympic exhibition centre. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Service pleasant and informative Will definitely visit again when I’m in that area of London!

Make time for a visit. A hidden gem. Clean, tasty, great staff, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect. The mixed grill is sensational and the Musar Jeune red is delicious.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant with great food and top quality service. I visited with a group of work colleagues for a celebration dinner and they were very accomodating for all my requests including helping me to decorate the venue beforehand... Throughout the evening they were extremely friendly and patient, food arrived promptly and was exceptional in presentation & quality... Overall we had an amazing evening and the bill (which included wine & prosecco) was very reasonable... I would recommend this restaurant highly

Going to Chez Abir is something I loved since the first time I tried them. Yesterday was another confirmation of this. The taste of the food, the spice balance, the quality of the service, the whole energy of the place was just hitting all the right spots. After several years, I feel it's only fair to update my review. Over time, both the food and service have consistently improved at this restaurant, making it one of my favourites. The personalised service by family members adds a unique and delightful touch, and the carefully crafted flavours make for a highly satisfying experience.

Following a recommendation from a Lebanese friend, seven family members travelled from east London to celebrate my wife's birthday. We opted for an excellent range of hot and cold mezze dishes, all washed down by a lovely Lebanese white house wine. The quality and quantity of the dishes were superb, as was the friendly service offered by George and his colleagues. If you love Lebanese food or want to try it for the first time then this is a venue that you should not miss if in the Olympia/Kensington area.

Brilliant flavours. Great little place and totally worth the five star reviews. Go for the recommendations of the staff and just sit back and enjoy.

Booked this on the back of the previous reviews & wasn’t disappointed. We had a set meal for 2 which was a selection of meze followed by the mixed grill & baklava. All totally awesome as was the service. Had Lebanese wine to accompany which was lovely All in all fantastic meal, thank you

There are many Lebanese restaurants in this area but none as good as this one. The welcome and high level of customer service is excellent. The food is well prepared and full of flavour. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great quality and helpful staff giving good advice

This is my headquarter dinner place, I go there 3 times a week, the food is authentic and delicious. It does remind me what I was eating in Beirut, every single dish is absolutely delicious, I had them all almost and there are probably 70 of them. The wine list is modest but appropriate and match the food very well. Price are reasonable and staff very kind. For London, this is really a hidden gem, consistently delivering a delicious food for decent price.

Great food and service was brilliant. Everything cooked as expected (lamb pink, chicken tender). Wine selection was very good.

We went here for lunch from Spirit of Christmas at Olympia. It was a lovely quiet retreat from the masses. There is a good selection of hot and cold mezzes to choose from and I liked the aubergines with chick peas and peppers best. Our waitress was attentive and food came quickly. It was all delicious,with generous portions. This will be our annual regular now as so much better than what’s on offer at the show

Surprisingly lovely hidden gem in a regular neighborhood! The food was exquisitely spiced and made freshly to order, the service was fantastic, and the ambiance warm and friendly with fun music in the background. An overall delight! I highly recommend the small plate of hummus with toasted pine nuts and lamb. Everything else is delicious, too. Make sure you get some fresh mint tea at the end of your meal - it’s the perfect way to finish.

This little restaurant tucked away behind Olympia is an absolute gem! Superbly fresh and utterly delicious food - better than any other Lebanese I’ve tried in London, including some ultra expensive restaurants. Attentive and caring staff and clean as a new pin. Wish I lived nearer so I could eat here more often!

Great neighborhood restaurant close to Kensington Olympia, serving a decent selection of Lebanese dishes. Prices are friendly and portions are generous. The wine list is also very serviceable. Go enjoy!

This small restaurant is a great find. Tucked behind the Olympia exhibition venue, it is a great place to go for something to eat after visiting Olympia where catering leaves a lot to be desired. The food is lovely, service efficient and friendly and wines are very nice too. Very reasonably priced too and we enjoyed the ambience. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen wirklich netten , unaufdringlichen Abend im Chez Abir. Für uns als Vegetarier gab es genug leckere Vorspeisen zum Satt werden. Das Humus Beiruty ist allerdings ziemlich scharf. Hier hätten wir lieber das normale gewählt. Geschmacklich war es aber super. Wir werden wieder hingehen wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

There are some very nice things to be had here. However, I ordered herb-stuffed lamb chunks and received a shank - not a herb in sight! Authentic perhaps but not well described. Everything a little salty, very good coffee though

We came here for a pre Mother’s Day dinner with my wife and two late teenage children. The food was excellent with each dish bursting with flavour. The homos Beiruty was a delicious chilli version of regular hommos. The moutabal was so tasty even my son ate it and he claims to hate aubergines. The tabouleh was spot on with taste and texture. The falafel was so fresh and crunchy and the halloumi cheese was the best I’ve ever tasted, with a mixture of firm outside from frying but somehow still moist on the inside. My daughter couldn’t eat enough of the spicy potato and the mixed grill of lamb and chicken just disappeared off the plate. The Domaine Des Tourelles Rosé was very pleasant and went well with all the food. The husband, wife and daughter team provided an authentic and warm family style service. They gave us a delicious balkawa at the end. When the bill came it was less than £100 for 4 people with a bottle of wine, which is excellent value. We’ll be back again for sure.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff in this cosy little place close to Olympia. We had a selection of hot and cold mezze starters so can definitely recommend the Homos Beirut, Foul B'zeit and Falafel. All were a cut above what I expected and served with warm and light flatbreads. Gorgeous sea bass with tahini sauce for the main had been suggested by a previous reviewer- a good choice. The Lebanese wines are lovely and complimentary baklava rounded off the evening. All in all a really lovely meal with great staff and service. Will definitely return when next in the area.

First impression, Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and cosy Establishment. We had the set menu along with a few other dishes as we wanted to try differend dishes which was a wise choice, as some of us had never tried Lebanese food before. We also had the House Red wine and it perfectly complimented our meal choice, which was enjoyed by all. I will certainly recomment Chez Abir Lebanese Restaurant to friends and family.

I have been coming to Chez Abir for years, and it never disappoints. Delicious, freshly-prepared food, nice wines, a cosy, relaxed ambiance and brilliant service. And all at an extremely affordable price. A neighborhood gem.

Excellent from start to finish. Lovely welcome, great service. The whole meal was superb. I get bored with sea bass to the extent I rarely order it. My wife insisted and was I glad she did - fantastic! Good to see a decent selection of Lebanese wines too. These are very much underrated.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere in this place, it made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and everything was brought out freshly cooked and piping hot. The waiter was very attentive whilst making sure that we had everything that we needed. We will definitely be revisiting and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice pleasant evening with great tasting Lebanese food.

Lovely mezze dishes, we shared about 8 dishes between four of us! Loved the chicken livers cooked in a pomegranate secret recipe! Baklava served as complimentary with our coffee! Thank you!

The food in this restaurant never disappoints. I live locally and its the best lebanese in the area and is consistently tasty. The staff are friendly and the service very good. I marked down on atmosphere as has always been quiet when I have been there so don't go for the atmosphere but do go for the food!

Seven of us visited after an event at the nearby Olympia stadium and everyone enjoyed their meal. Vegetarians are well catered-for and meat eaters can enjoy a variety of lamb dishes. We tried several hot and cold starters (mezze) including houmous, moutabal, makdous and falafel and these were all delicious. The main courses we tried included lahem meshiw (lamb kebabs), kibbeh saynieh and okra stew and we were all tasting each other's choices to enjoy the variety of flavours on offer. Well worth a visit!

Chez Abir is a gem of a place. So local and fabulous food. The grilled halloumi can't be missed! The owners are friendly and very warm. Love, love, love this place! All my friends so far have also loved this wonderful restaurant. Keep up the good work!

A few mix ups with our order but in fairness we were a large group of 10. Food was very nice with plenty of choice although boneless chicken came with bones which was a bit disappointing as not really as expected. Good value.

Excellent well priced and very tasty Lebanese food cooked by the chef/proprietor. I've always liked coming here because the menu is classic Lebanese food cooked with passion. It can be busy at times but then just relax with an arak or a glass of Lebanese wine are eat a few mezze and make an evening of it!

We ate at Chez Abir a few days ago and it happened to be just before they broke for one month holiday. This meant that some of the menu items were not available so we had to go with second choices. All in all it was a pretty inconsistent meal but the parts that were good were great: halloumi was excellent as was the stuffed lamb and hummus. The lunch platter was not as impressive as it sounded and not was it plentiful in terms of food. Although I would not order this again, it included an excellent aubergine dish. The bread was disappointing as was the falafel. The chicken kebab was deeply disappointing in terms of taste and presentation. Service was very very slow which was unforgivable as we were the only table in the restaurant at that time and even had to ask for bread so that the toddler with us had something to eat. All in all it was an average meal but not a place that I would be in a hurry to return to.

We ordered a selection of hot and cold starters to share all of which were fresh, tasty and good value. Our main courses were equally as good, however, the restaurant was full and there was only one guy serving all of the food and drinks and he clearly needed help. We waited and age for everything as he was run ragged. A real shame as you could tell it would have been a great place had there been more wait staff. He was very apologetic but that doesn't help when you're entertaining colleagues from all over the world!

The menu has an excellent selection of hot and cold mezze as well as larger mains. We had a selection of mezze plates to share and they were all delicious. The moussaka was rich and silky smooth and the aubergine dip was beautifully smokey. The Lebanese wine selection is good value and goes well with the food. I would definitely recommend this place.

I booked Chez Abir for a dinner with a group of 8 business colleagues after a day working at an exhibition at Olympia. It was the perfect choice of place to eat in every respect. The food was excellent and the maître d' made it simple for us by preparing a selection of mezze followed by main courses that we could share. The Lebanese wines are exceptionally good - we had a couple of bottles of Château Ksara. It was not too crowded or noisy (except for us!) and it was just right for a casual business dinner. Also, being five minutes walk from Olympia makes it very convenient for anyone visiting the exhibition centre. I would go there again and recommend it to anyone.
