Chef and grill in Mid Devon

Absolutely vile food was sick straight after never will eat from there again Food didn't taste right Burger was raw Chips were hard Salad was mouldy. Rang up to complain manager shouted down the phone to me very rude customer service And telephone communications DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

It's not bad food to be fair.. The only ( DOWN SIDE IS THAT THEY DONT DELIVER THE FOOD TO FLATS. I was told, so it's good for people who have young children or disabled people unfortunately. How unfortunate.

Good, food good delivery never had a problem, food sizes are generous and always deliver on time and food is still hot. Can’t fault.

Fantastic that places like this stay open so late to serve the public need. Both of us in our household work very late & when we didn't feel like cooking a very late dinner, finding this local take away was an easy option. So glad we parked opposite at around 11 p.m. when most other places are closed, friendly staff welcomed us & cooked an amazing meal within a half hour wait. A large & an extra large lamb kebab & a 9" pizza with great sauces, mint, garlic, fresh salad, many chillies as requested, all for just £ 30 including a can of drink, wow, when we got it home minutes later it was a massive feast. Generous portions, the extra large kebab, how do they offer so much lamb, amazing value for money, great food, tasty, exactly what we both wanted instead of cooking for ourselves. Highly recommended, worth waiting for, I have no doubt we'll both be returning to sample more of what's on offer.

Due to fault of none but my own . I have to say how helpfull this business was regarding a phone number error , deleiverd my food extremely quickly and very nice on the phone considering it was me that cause the problem BIG thankyou to the staff for being so forgiving deffintly order again if they let me 😅

Just had another delicious meal from Chef n Grill. Easy to order and fast delivery. The food arrived hot and exactly what I ordered. Friendly, polite staff and high reccomend

i ordered 2 donner wraps through the website. i waited an hour for them to turn up (i know it can be a busy period). they turned up stone cold. i rang the place and they said they didnt know what to do about it as there was no manager there at the time. they told me to ring back in 10 minutes when the manager arrived. i didnt have my call answered for nearly 45 minutes after that. they then said they would come colect the old food, take it back to the shop, then redeliver my order. by that time it would of been 2 hours minimum. i understand waiting time on food but i dont understand rude service down the phone because of a complaint due to poor food. i decided not to have my order delivered as i know it would be a waste of time let alone a waste of money. i will NOT be back. AVOID.

The food was delivered on time but the food was un edable the doner was horrible in tasted the chicken was not chicken some nock off chicken the salad was wilted and had a funny tased I phoned to complain but the manager did not want to resolve the problem so I will phone the bank to get a 100% refund and tell my mates and family to STAY AWAY

Our food was 2 hrs late,then we then rang the restaurant and they were rude and told us that he didn’t put the order through,before trying to sort something out the man rudely told us that he had just cancelled the order and hung up the phone without any apology or reason for this! Really disappointed as their food looked lovely online but clearly the service was awful and ruined the evening.Would not order again!!

Got my order through just eat it was delivered in time and the food was hot but the portion sizes where shocking when you pay £40 you don’t expect to be still hungry after it

We often order take-away from Chef & Grill and are struck by how consistently good the food is. They are somewhat leisurely in responding to take-away orders, but it's because they take their time and cook the food right.
